“James has now helped us out a few times while here for our summer stent in Park City. I am so grateful to have found him! My work takes me to Salt Lake City for long days on occasion so knowing my Frenchies are in good hands is the best! He is great with the dogs and very personable.”

“Kelly was amazing with our pups, especially one that is super anxious and doesn’t do well with strangers. She sent us reports and pictures everyday which helped me feel at ease! Will definitely use Kelly again in the future!! Ty!”

“We hired Angie to drop in on our kitty, Luna. Angie arrived at the time we’d previously discussed and spent time playing with Luna and took care of her litter box. This was the first time we’ve left Luna behind and it was made easier by knowing Angie would be dropping in to visit.”

About: I’m a responsible, caring pet sitter who truly loves animals of all kinds, I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I have house/pet sat many times and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and active. I will make your pets receive playtime, daily walks, and ample amounts of attention. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always take the time to make them feel relaxed and loved. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates ensuring you peace of mind of your pets well being. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure your pets feel loved and safe. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! I’m a local to Park City and currently am a self employed photographer, allowing me to take time for my (Tia)pet and yours. My work schedule is often short windows requiring me to be on-site, while the remainder of the time is spent working from home. I typically will get my dog out for at least one walk unless the weather is very bad, in which case I will make sure she still gets some playtime. My dog typically sleeps in my bed with me but I have no problem with setting and upholding boundaries as to where pets aren’t allowed.
“Tammie went above and beyond my expectations.she cared for my babies like they were her own. I highly recommend her and plan on rebooking when I take another trip. Thank you so much Tammie…Kimber and Grover will miss your daily visits.”

“Grace was extremely reliable and so sweet with our pup. We are so thankful for her help while we skied. Our pup was happy as could be and well taken care of. It is because of Grace’s responsiveness and kind nature that we felt comfortable bringing our pup on our ski trip. Highly recommend Grace! Hope to book her again during our next trip this summer.”

Let me know their needs, and I will build my schedule around them the best I can. I love to get know each pet for their individual personality. I am respectful of others homes and always make sure to get your pet what they need to keep them happy!

About: Grew up with dogs and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them in everyday life, including feeding, walking, basic training, and understanding different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m confident handling both calm and active dogs and adjusting to their individual needs. I now also own two cats, which has given me additional experience with feline behavior, routines, and creating a safe, stress-free environment. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and treat every animal with patience, responsibility, and genuine care. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and on short notice when needed. I can’t take pets into my own home because I have two cats, but I’m very happy to stay at the client’s home and provide care there. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and keep their normal routine while you’re away.
“Stephanie did a great job with my cat Wilson. She was prompt and sent me very nice photos of Wilson while I was traveling. She made sure he was well fed, his cat box was clean and she played with him. I recommend Stephanie for anyone that needs a cat sitter.”

“Daniela was great with Max and was able to check on him with a short notice request. Very much appreciated! She sent pics and gave a follow up, and I was so glad she was able to check in on him!”

“Hayley was the best! She took such good care of my toy golden doodle Ozzy. She walked him at my place and the next day he went to her house and had the best time with her adorable frenchie and other poochy. Thank you Haley. :)))))”

About: Growing up, my family rescued golden retrievers so I have always loved dogs and taking care of them is second nature to me. Now that I’ve moved away from home I miss my dogs so much and would love to be able to take a dog for a walk again:) I currently have a part time job that’s 9-5 four days a week. I can walk/play with your dogs before work, after work, and on weekends! Your dog will have full attention from my roommate and I. We are both pet lovers and between the two of our schedules there is usually someone home most of the day!
About: I’ve spent years training and living with dogs, including strong-willed and independent breeds such as Huskies and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Those experiences have taught me that there isn’t one training method or approach that works for every animal. What works for one dog may completely miss the mark with another. What I’ve learned is that the key is understanding the individual animal—its personality, communication style, energy level, boundaries, and what makes it feel confident and secure. My goal isn’t to change an animal into something it isn’t, but to find the approach that allows it to thrive within its own environment and alongside its family’s routines. I think that perspective is what makes me different as a sitter. I’m observant, patient, and comfortable adapting to each pet rather than expecting every pet to adapt to me. I also understand that caring for a home is part of caring for the animals who live there. I respect their routines, their space, and their home, and I take pride in leaving things clean, secure, and well cared for. Ultimately, I want owners to feel confident that while they’re away, their pets are not simply being watched—they’re being genuinely understood and cared for. After relocating to Utah, I’m currently working part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and the opportunity to spend more time doing something I truly enjoy, being around animals. I’ve always loved having animals as part of my daily life, and I’ve realized how much I miss that connection. Pet sitting feels like a wonderful way to bring that back while also helping other people feel confident that their pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away. I genuinely enjoy being there for animals, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, extra cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I love helping others with their pets because I know how important they are to their families, and I treat that responsibility with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m naturally respectful, tidy, and attentive, and I understand that house sitting is about more than simply being there. I’ll treat your home with care, keep things clean and secure, and make sure it continues to feel lived in and well looked after. Combined with my experience caring for animals, I’m able to give both your pets and your home the attention they deserve while you’re away.
“Emily was exceptional!! Very professional, arrived on time, was great with mango and Summer. Emily took them both for walks, sent photos, etc. We enjoyed our time out knowing dogs were in such good hands! Definitely will use Emily again while in Aspen”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Snyderville
Our cats are in LOVE with Julia! Cat #1 met her at the door for the "meet and greet," and after quickly approving, went straight to her shoes and dove in. Cat #2 is very shy, but within a few days, was also smitten with Julia. No kidding! Julia sends photos every day. You can see the happiness in the cats' eyes. She went "above and beyond" when we changed our travel plans and had to add 4 days to our service! We have already booked her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Snyderville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
