About: I have grown up taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I grew up with dogs, cats horses, chickens ect. I have always been a huge animal lover and loved the responsibility of taking care of animals. We currently have 2 dogs of our own. A golden retriever named Hoyt, and a chocolate lab named Bailey. They are our absolute WORLD! I have worked in a grooming salon and a doggy daycare/ training center . As well as job shadowed a dog trainer and ran some of my very own puppy introduction grooming classes. I have studied dog behavior/ dog body language to be prepared for any situation. I have also had proper e collar training as well if your pup does better with one. Dogs are a HUGE passion of mine so I’m always trying to push my knowledge further when it comes to our pups to ensure they get the best life possible Hi I’m Kierra! Im currently staying home full time so your pup will be well taken care of and always having interaction. It’s just my boyfriend, myself and my two pups. I am always taking them out hiking, running with the four-wheeler, playing fetch, going to the lake, or going through walks throughout our neighborhood. I try my best to ensure they get the best life possible. I’ll always be able to keep an eye on your fur babies. I treat your dog as if it were my own, with the same love and care I’d do for my own. I believe routine is very important for our pups so I’m willing to accommodate yours and your pups needs to the best of my ability.
“My dogs had a 5 day stay with Mandy and I lost count of how many pictures she sent! I really appreciated the constant communication. She also went above and beyond to make sure our oldest dog was taking his meds after he started refusing pill pockets. They came home happy and healthy. Thanks Mandy!”

“Jessica is fantastic! This is the second time we’ve trusted her with our two corgis, and we couldn’t be happier. Our dogs can be quite the handful, but she handles them with so much patience, kindness, and care. They get so excited to see her, which says everything. Knowing our pups are safe, happy, and well cared for while we’re away gives us incredible peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely with our fur babies. We highly recommend Jessica! ❤️🐾”

“Jennifer was a great sitter! She not only was able to accommodate a last minute request but took my girl on a hike and treated her like her own. Juniper had such a good time and was a very happy girl when I picked her up”

“Charity and Eric always take of our dogs as if they were their own. I have peace of mind every time we leave our dogs here and they provide many daily updates so we always know how our dogs are doing. I definitely recommend!”

About: I have grown up with big and small dogs and have always loved them. I make sure to be very attentive to any dog I am with, bringing them on lots of walks, and hanging with them. I am an online student with a flexible schedule. This allows me to be very attentive to your dog, lots of walks, lots of hanging nearby. I take great care of pets. I make sure they get the exercise they need, and the time spent just hanging out close by. I think most dogs love to be around people as much as they can, and I make that happen!
“I was very nervous about leaving our Senior dog who needs extra care. Jim and Mary Jane exceeded my expectations. They made Cody feel very comfortable and were great with communicating with us throughout the trip. Very appreciative of their love and care to Cody and responsiveness to us.”

Katarina took the best care of our 8mo old Bernedoodle, Bella. Bella would always come home so relaxed and content, I can tell she receives a lot of love and attention. We’ve used Katarina for both daycare / sitting and overnight boarding, and both have exceeded our expectations. So thankful we found such a caring sitter.

Bre is great. She both picked up and dropped off Ripley and gave him a bath before he came back home. She kept us informed throughout his stay with pictures and text updates. Bre took Ripley on a daily hike with several other dogs so he was well socialized. Communication was great. Will definitely look to work with Bre again in the future.

Kirsten was so amazing with our pup Millie! Her dog Roxy and Millie played so well together and we would get picture updates of what she was up to that day - which we loved! Fun plays in the backyard, walks, and enjoying the sunshine:) Couldn’t recommend Kirsten enough! She was so great! 10/10!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
