“Evette was a great host she made sure my dog got plenty of attention and activity. She was quick to respond and easy to work with. We will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Meredith is the absolute best and takes great care of my dog. Her home is our pup’s “home away from home” whenever I travel and she treats him so well. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Meredith.”

“Curtis and Jennifer took wonderful care of my Cody. He really enjoyed their family and pets. They were so good to him and let him sleep on their bed. I received an update, picture or video every day. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again??”

“Lisa was great. She gave us regular updates and photos. Our dog seemed happy, loved and well cared for. We weren't sure if she wanted to come home with us or stay with Lisa and the other dogs friends. Thanks for taking such good care of our baby!”

“Thank you Tami for taking care of Daisy! We appreciate you and the care you give to all the little dogs that come through your front door. We look forward to working with you again.”

“Grace was quick to reply and took good care of my 5 month old puppy. She has a very friendly golden retriever and two young girls so I know my Ringo enjoyed his stay. I’ll be using her in the future.”

“Our pup seemed happy as could be when we picked her up. Jean and Sam were quick to respond on a short notice request and made everything very easy for us. Thank you!”

“We’ve left our dog with multiple River sitters and Jennifer has been BY FAR the best! So many pictures, lots of dog walks and yummy treats for my dog. I felt like she was treating my pup just like she would treat her own dog-he was spoiled and loved on the whole time we were gone. We are absolutely going to be repeat customers!”

“Brent & Liza are so awesome. They are very nice and cared a lot for our dog. They sent us a few pictures everyday. Their dog buck was very friendly and a good friend to our dog. Our dog was so happy there and came home very tired from playing.”

“Nicole & Joey were perfect for what we were looking for in a pet sitter. They like dogs. They have a great environment with a fenced backyard. We had great peace of mind that our baby was well cared for.”

“Julie went above and beyond! I’m so pleased with the care my dogs received. They’ve been moping around ever since we picked them up (which is not like them). I’m a little offended at how unhappy they seem to be back at home, haha! I’m so grateful that they had such a wonderful time. We will definitely hire Julie and crew again!”

“Toby's boarding experience with Josh was very positive. Josh sent us pictures several times showing Toby acclimating to his new environment and interacting with the other dogs. Toby was relaxed and healthy when we picked him up. We would repeat with Josh. PJ”
“We dropped Elouise and Miba off for a weekend while we went to Moab! They had so much fun and are so tired from a weekend of playing. Absolutely recommend Owen and Kelly for anyone in the area looking for a great dog sitter.”

“My dog had a great time at Amanda's! I feel luck I found her when I needed someone over Thanksgiving. Our dogs did well together and she sent me updates and photos. She communicated well about drop off and pickup times. I hope to have her watch my dog again in the future.”

About: Hi I’m Savannah! I have taken care of my dogs and friends pups for 5 years. I provide a loving home filled with lots of hikes and treats for my pup Pinot and I’d be thrilled to hike/take care of your pup. I do freelance work Monday through Friday and have a flexible schedule during the week to walk or watch pups. I am mostly home on the weekends unless I am on the slopes but with advance notice I can be flexible then as well. I live in a safe and dog friendly neighborhood, have a fenced in back yard, and one 5 year old dog Pinot. I am allergic to cats so no cats but dogs are welcome.
“Once again Lexi took amazing care of our kiddos so we could enjoy an escape. We feel extremely luckily to have found her. I believe our kiddos are a little bored when they get home. Good & bad🥰 Thank you, Lexi 🤗🐶🐶🤗”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
