About: I have grown up with big and small dogs and have always loved them. I make sure to be very attentive to any dog I am with, bringing them on lots of walks, and hanging with them. I am an online student with a flexible schedule. This allows me to be very attentive to your dog, lots of walks, lots of hanging nearby. I take great care of pets. I make sure they get the exercise they need, and the time spent just hanging out close by. I think most dogs love to be around people as much as they can, and I make that happen!
About: I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs, including my own, neighbors’, and family pets. I have also cared for a blind, diabetic dog, ensuring proper medication and specialized attention. As a full-time college student with large breaks and flexible hours, I have plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just spending time with your pet, I can accommodate your needs around my schedule. I provide trustworthy pet care in your home, including feeding, walking, and maintaining routines. Your pets safety and comfort are my priority, ensuring peace of mind while you are away.

About: Hi I’m Savannah! I have taken care of my dogs and friends pups for 5 years. I provide a loving home filled with lots of hikes and treats for my pup Pinot and I’d be thrilled to hike/take care of your pup. I do freelance work Monday through Friday and have a flexible schedule during the week to walk or watch pups. I am mostly home on the weekends unless I am on the slopes but with advance notice I can be flexible then as well. I live in a safe and dog friendly neighborhood, have a fenced in back yard, and one 5 year old dog Pinot. I am allergic to cats so no cats but dogs are welcome.

About: Would love to have your dog spend some Fun time with my pup. Your fur baby will get lots of walks or short hikes. We like going to dog parks or hang out at the lake too. Your dog will get lots of belly rubs and massages. I prefer to take 1 dog at a time for boarding and doggy daycare. I’m retired so I have an open schedule for dogs. I have a senior 13 pound jack russell terrier mix pup to hang out with your fur baby. I have helped out family members and friends with their homes and pets when they have traveled. I know the stress of leaving a pet behind. I take seriously the responsibility of making sure your pets are well cared for. I have experience in caring for senior dogs and some with special health needs. My husband and I are always around with the pups . The area I live at has lots of walking paths around my neighborhood which is perfect to get exercise. The walking path goes down to the lake.
“Toby's boarding experience with Josh was very positive. Josh sent us pictures several times showing Toby acclimating to his new environment and interacting with the other dogs. Toby was relaxed and healthy when we picked him up. We would repeat with Josh. PJ”
“Owen & Kelly were great with our two dogs and had them for four days. Enzo is a shepherd/collie mix and Yinnie is a Yorkie. They got along great with their dogs and I could tell after I brought them home today they seemed a little bummed they weren’t with all their new friends. They sent multiple photos every day of our pups and we’ll definitely be using them again when we go out of town!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
