Our little Lacee is part of our family and we are always so hesitant to leave her, she has separation anxiety and is generally stressed for days after we return. We left Lacee with Kristine for 2 days and came back to a very happy puppy. Our dog was well cared for, taken on walks, snuggled and we received frequent pictures and updates on how she was doing. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs at every stage of life. My most recent pup had several health issues, which taught me to be especially attentive to medication schedules, routines, and changes in behavior or well-being. I’m passionate about providing a safe, loving, and happy environment where every dog feels comfortable and cared for, no matter their age or needs. I’m currently full time- however I work a hybrid schedule. I will be working from home on Thursdays and Fridays to help accommodate any weekend trips! Although I do not have a yard, I have access to grass outside my home and the surrounding neighborhood. I myself no longer have my own pup, but I live with my sister who owns a French bulldog. He can help keep your pup company, and for those pups who are a little less friendly and prefer to keep to themselves, I am able to keep them completely separate, and will crate if needed/wanted.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for over a year and worked with a dog trainer afterwards as an assistant trainer. I have 2 German Shepherds and a French Bulldog of my own that I trained myself. I love all animals and want to continue working with and care for them. I love hikes, and long walks. If allowed, I would prefer take your pup for a stroll up in our beautiful mountains to give them extra enrichment. I am currently unemployed, waiting to go back to school full-time in January. My schedule is almost always open, and I never cancel unless for emergencies. I have trained several dogs and am familiar with temperament. I love taking long walks or hikes up in the mountains. About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. Most of my time spent away from home is flexible and lasts (at most) 5 hours (with a few exceptions). I enjoy spending time with dogs, and try to be home as often as possible when watching pets to ensure they are comfortable and safe. I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to explore, sniff, and play! I have one 13 year old dog — a sweet, social, pet-friendly Golden Retriever — to keep your pup company. His name is Simba, he loves to say hi and will engage if your pup initiates, but is also very content to keep to himself and takes cues and warnings well. Simba is a free roaming dog and I am happy to keep your pup out and about while I'm home and able to supervise. I also live with a cat who keeps to herself and stays confined to a dog-free room. She will not interact with your pets during their stay. For your pup's safety and mine, I prefer they are crate trained. That way, I can ensure they are safe and comfortable while I'm out. I also utilize kennels as a quiet space for dogs to decompress and recharge separate from outside distractions. However, they will be offered plenty of time outside of their crates, both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my house. However, I can enforce any off-furniture rules to maintain their routine while away from home.

I wake up early during dog sitting days so that I can ensure your pet gets plenty of time with me. At my house I have 2 chihuahuas we have a doggy door for them to go outside and go potty, they are usually always inside getting love and attention, they free feed. The older one sleeps in bed the younger one chooses to sleep in the living room, im pretty sure she likes to keep a watch on the house at night.
About: I have always had dogs going up! I helped train my parents dogs along with my own pup! I worked for an animal service company in the past, so I have lots of experience and I know how important our furry family members are! I will ensure your animal is treated as if they were my own. Your pet’s wellbeing and safety are my top priority. I work full time at a hospital, but I am available before & after work- typically after 4:30pm. I take my pup to the park and on walks everyday after work, so animals with high energy is my speed!! My husband has a very flexible schedule, so he’s home 3 days a week (during the work week). We both have weekends off and have flexibility for your animals needs:) We do live in an apartment, but we are very active (along with our dog) so we go on about 3-4 walks a day! We live close to several parks as well so your furry friend will get loves of play time!

“Grecia was amazing and clearly had much experience with dog behavior. My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”
