About: We love our little dog, Otis, and he loves having dogs to play with. We both grew up with dogs and pets, and love having them in our home. We have goats out back and a big yard to play in. We work remotely from our home and have lots of time to give at give attention and go for walks. Other than running errands, our kids that keep us home most of the time. We have a large unfenced yard, but we have a runner that some dogs like. We're not on a major road, almost no traffic and our neighborhood where we go for walks is very pet friendly.

About: I have worked at a dog daycare as my first job and absolutely loved it. It was for a kennel that was for dogs 30 pounds or less, but I have had experience with bigger dogs. My mom has her own house cleaning business and growing up, I would spend my summers with her helping clean. Some of those homes had dogs and I would play with them and try to get them out of my mom’s way while cleaning. Often times they would leave out of town and I would house/dog sit. It is really fun getting to know different types of dogs and learn about them! I have a 14 year old dachshund and when he was younger we’d go everywhere! We’d try new parks and hiking trails every week. Although he doesn’t walk as much anymore, I take him out to parks on his dog stroller. My boyfriend has three dogs, a husky, husky mix and a Maltese mix. So with all those experiences, I have worked with dogs as small as teacup Yorkies, to big dogs such as Irish wolfhounds. I have a full time job, from 7am to 3pm but luckily I’m the only one in my department and can flex my schedule. I have the option to work from home on some days. As summer is coming up I would like to take early morning walks or evening walks to avoid the heat but for now since spring is making its way, evening walks will be ideal to feel the peak of the heat! It is Utah though, so the weather is always changing. First I would consider the age of the dog, my dog has had back surgery and isn’t allowed on steps. Any accommodations your pet needs I will follow. If they walk but at a slow pace, I am used to that. If they like to walk at a fast pace I can also do that. I have a stroller too for dogs so if there’s senior dogs with a sibling that’s more fit, they can go together!
