“Tiffany was fantastic—attentive, reliable, and clearly cared a lot about my cat’s well-being. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Christina did a great job at reassuring me that my pooch was going to be okay! She did everything I asked perfectly and had no issues with communication. 10/10 sitter. Thank you!”

“Thank you for taking care of my fur babies. I came home to happy and healthy kitty cats. Thank you for taking the time to make sure their food was prepared as they need it. The extra effort goes a long way.”

“Alexis went above & beyond my expectations of a dog sitter! We had her stop in throughout the day to help with our French Bulldog (who is a little high maintenance). And Alexis did a wonderful job taking care of her. My pup gets anxious when I leave and I could tell that she felt completely comfortable and happy with Alexis. She followed instructions perfectly and was accommodating with any extra things I asked. Would absolutely book with her again & will recommend her to anyone that asks. Thank you Alexis!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Starting with family dogs, and moving on to caring for family and friends dogs when I was 16, 19 years ago. I have experience working as a dog trainer, administering medications, and both puppy and senior care. I also have experience with most small pets/reptiles. I offer services all along the wasatch front, an additional fee will be charged for distances over 15 miles. Standard house sitting will include overnights. Pets must be able to be alone for 4-8 hours at a time. One session of exercise (walk/intense play/etc.) included for each pet. If more care or exercise is required I'm still interested! There may be an added fee, please contact for more details. If overnights are not required consider booking drop-ins instead. I can check in on your pets for anything they may need, including feeding, administration of medications, play in a fenced yard/house and more! I will spend ~30 minutes caring for your pet per drop-in, longer time requirements may have additional charges. I offer walks too! In your neighborhood a standard walk will be ~30 minutes. I love to hike and also offer dog hikes at many of our local trails! Extra charges may apply, contact me for more details. When in your home pet sitting I will always respect your home. My goal is to make your animal as happy and comfortable as possible and I will follow any rules that you set about your house. I will love and treat your animals like my own whether in your home, or out for a walk. This is my passion!
“Amy was super fast in replying and so accommodating with my very short notice. She was so kind and I could tell my babies were well loved and taken care of. Would love to have her care for my pups again!!”

“Caroline was a lifesaver for us this week! She helped our new puppy adjust to her new home and was so communicative. She shared real time updates and pictures and was flexible when our schedule changed. We look forward to having Caroline help again in the future!”

“5 Stars – Highly Recommended! Rachael is an outstanding cat sitter! She cared for my cat with genuine love, attention, and professionalism. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rachael again!”

“Haley was very friendly, and kept us well updated each day on how out cat was doing. Gus warmed up to her instantly. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter, and look forward to using her again in the future.”

“Baileigh was so great! Very sweet and interactive with Bandit. Bandit can be a little standoffish to new people and she was really great with reading his behaviors! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Izabella was great with our cat while we were gone! I appreciated the photos and notes from each visit and could tell she really cared about her! This was my first experience with Rover and I will be booking again with Izabella :)”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I feel like I am able to speak their language and can deal with almost every dog personality type! I am super happy to come show some love and hang out with your pets for a bit. :) I’m retired Air Force and currently work as a Medical Assistant for the U. I am PRN so I make my own schedule which gives me tons of downtime! My wife is currently a pilot for the Air Force Guard as well as a Delta, so life can get pretty boring when she’s on trips! Looking for something fulfilling to do with all my spare time. Couldn’t think of a better way to do it! I have two dogs. A dachshund mix as well as a Dalmatian! My puppies are loved and well trained and I fully understand the importance of those two things as well as keeping them safe. I will always use leashes and other safety measures when handling your babies.
About: Having grown up training and working an XL breed alongside a frenchie, I have experience with dogs great and small. I love big dogs, trained dogs, elderly dogs and puppies. I’m comfortable crate training and caring for working jobs with training schedules. I currently work part time at a bank so I’m available most holidays and weekends, and can stay full time at your home to take dogs on potty breaks at all hours. I tend to keep a low profile in a client’s home beyond dirtying linens. I typically go for the guest bedroom and will only cook in the microwave if at all. I ask that I am left written instructions and schedules to best care for your animals.
About: I have been house sitting for neighbors since I was in high school as a side hobby because I loved to have an excuse to hangout with all of their animals. I myself grew up in a 5 dog, 4 horse, 3 cat household so I am also used to handling multiple animals at a time. I would love a reason to come play with your animals! I currently work part time between the hours of 8-4 varying most weeks. I am more than happy to spend nights at the home if needed! I usually get up pretty early in the mornings so that I can spend about two hours with the fur baby’s before I have to leave for work. I have taken care of dogs with specific medical needs (medication, massages, etc.) so I am able to administer anything needed.
“She took pictures of our cats while they were eating and walking around the kitchen. She followed all instructions. Cats seem fine. She got back to us quickly when we had questions.”

About: I have been fostering animals for over 10 years. I also have 3 dogs of my own along with two cats. Animals are absolutely my greatest passion. Helping animals is something I hope I can continue to do for a long time. I work from home so I am able to set my own schedule. It’s also nice that my kids are all in full day school now so my schedule is even my flexible. I will love your pet as if they are my own. Animals are family. I have three dogs of my own at home along with two cats. I do not ever want a pet to feel overwhelmed or stressed out. Leaving a pet behind is hard enough without adding any extra struggles.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woods Cross
As usual, Nicole was amazing with my girls when I needed to go out of town. She was dependable and communicated very well. She spent time with both girls separately, since they don't get along and followed my instructions perfectly! I'd definitely recommend her to care for your furbabies- you won't be disappointed!

Brooke did a wonderful job checking in on my cat while I was away. This is the second time I have used her services and will absolutely hire her again! She is reliable, responds quickly, and is trustworthy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter!

This is the second time using Diana. There was a personal issue that came up for her during the time we were away. When things go wrong is when you learn the most about people. Diana was able to balance looking after our cats and her personal matter. We got pictures after every visit with a little write up about how the cats are doing. She spent a good amount of time with the cats as well.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woods Cross. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
