“Awesome sitter! Sent us pictures and our pup looked so happy with her stay. Sydney was always super responsive and flexible. I had put in my dates wrong for the trip and she ended up having our pup for another night on a short notice. So grateful! Thanks so much again, highly recommend Sydney!”

“Mandy is wonderful. She’s so calm and takes great care of the dogs. She sends lots of pictures and comments everyday so we don’t have to worry about our dogs. I will always use her if she available. ❤️”

“We LOVE Casondra!! Embry has the absolute best time with her which includes tons of playtime, fun walks, and nonstop snuggles. On our most recent visit, Embry wasn’t feeling her greatest, and Cassondra went above and beyond to give her extra love and attentive care. Knowing our baby was so well cared for gave us total peace of mind. Embry adores her, and so do we!! I couldn’t recommend her more!”

We would absolutely book with Ray again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs at every stage of life. My most recent pup had several health issues, which taught me to be especially attentive to medication schedules, routines, and changes in behavior or well-being. I’m passionate about providing a safe, loving, and happy environment where every dog feels comfortable and cared for, no matter their age or needs. I’m currently full time- however I work a hybrid schedule. I will be working from home on Thursdays and Fridays to help accommodate any weekend trips! Although I do not have a yard, I have access to grass outside my home and the surrounding neighborhood. I myself no longer have my own pup, but I live with my sister who owns a French bulldog. He can help keep your pup company, and for those pups who are a little less friendly and prefer to keep to themselves, I am able to keep them completely separate, and will crate if needed/wanted.
“Dominique is probably the best dog boarder I have ever met! She’s been taking care of dogs for a long time and knows dogs like no one else. Dominque has taken care of both our terriers, one being a particular difficult and reactive dog. We trust her with our pets and are grateful for the care and discipline she has given our furry friends. I totally recommend Dominique for anyone wanting a great boarder.”

About: Hi there! For as long as I can remember I’ve always been in love with dogs. I’ve recently moved back to Utah and bought my first home! It gets lonely at times, but I am not in a space financially for a dog just yet, which means I would love the opportunity to take care of yours! I live on my own, no roommates, no kids, and no other pets, so you can look forward to a focused and attentive visit! I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for a long time and have loved every minute of it. Most of my experience is with medium to large dogs, but I am also good with small dogs. I’ve worked with chill dogs, but also very aggressive dogs, so I’ve pretty much seen it all. I can’t wait to have a dog in the house! I currently work from 7:30-4:30 during the weekdays, but it’s only a 10 minute drive from my house so when I have a dog over I will take my lunch break at 12:00 and come home to play with the dog and let them out and make sure that everything is okay! This might not work with smaller or younger dogs, but my job is pretty chill so if they need the extra attention, reach out and I will try and work it out if possible. I don’t work weekends and am a homebody to a fault, so most of my weekends are spent at home hanging out. You can also expect nightly walks once the temperature outside has cooled down. I have a fully fenced yard and live right next to a park that hardly ever has people! I live in a very quiet neighborhood and everyone is super chill! I grew up fostering dogs that were training to be service animals, so while I am not a certified trainer, I know a few tips and tricks, but I also know how to follow specific instructions based on what your dog needs!
“Brooke was awesome with our dog, Rusty! She even sent us daily pictures of him and let us know how he was doing. Since this was our first time boarding Rusty, it was comforting to know we had chosen such a caring person to leave him with! When we picked him up, she sent him home with a fun goodie bag! We will definitely be using Brooke again!”

“My flight got delayed. My cats were in such good care. I got update photos regularly so my anxiety was under control and I loved my vacation even more knowing they were happy. Thank you so much!”

“Erin was awesome with Milo, sent us photos and shared updates while we were gone for 10 days. Milo loved playing with her 2 dogs and came home very tired, which is always a good sign. Highly recommend Erin”

“Rachael is seriously the best, and one of Daisy’s (our dog) favorite people ever! Daisy gets so giddy anytime she gets to be with Rachael and Simba! We always feel so at peace knowing she’s in her care.”

“Our dog Luna had a great stay with Valerie and Nicholas! I received frequent updates and pictures while we were out of town. I recommend them!”

“Kellie did an amazing job caring for my dog, Rue! I really appreciated receiving photos while I was away. It was wonderful to see Rue had such a fun time playing in the backyard and getting along so well with their dog, Noodle. I will definitely be trusting Kellie with dog sitting again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woods Cross
Roxana was wonderful with my elderly chihuahua. He definitely has a big personality and some quirks, but she got along with him wonderfully and was very accommodating of his needs. She was very flexible with drop-off and pickup times and communicated very well. I would definitely send my dog to her again!

Kenzi and her family are amazing! They took such good care of Ralph and loved him as their own. She had things prepared like frozen lick mats and a little pool for outside when our weather was going to be close to 100*. I’m sure Ralph can’t wait for our next trip so he can stay at Kenzi’s house again!

We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

Monica was loving and caring about my pups like her own. She took them for hikes/walks, played games and lots of cuddling! She was super communicative and sent daily picture/video updates. She is flexible with the schedule. She clearly loves animals. I will absolutely use her again!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
