“Mandy was great to communicate with and was available last minute for boarding. We were nervous with our Whippet because her dogs were larger and she was watching some other dogs larger than our dog and that can be intimidating for our dog. She gave us many updates throughout the boarding on how he was doing and also monitored his interactions. She clearly has a big heart for dogs. Really good experience.”

“Wendy is wonderful. She really cares about Sam whenever we leave him with her. She kindly sends photos every day and tells us how's he doing. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a kind, caring, person to watch your pets.”

“Excellent attention to our instructions and very warm and friendly family. Our dog was very happy in their home and we received regular updates and photos. Will definitely work with them again.”

“Brooke was such a good fit for our Winnie girl! She came home so calm, happy and adjusted well which is a first for us after having her watched by several others on Rover. We will absolutely be booking with Brooke again in the very near future. She sent pictures and updates, was flexible and accommodating. Winnie loved her long walks and is already missing her friends!”

“Tessa was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our two dogs, Parker and Koda. She made our first experience using Rover completely stress free. She kept us updated, followed all our care instructions, and made sure our pups were happy and comfortable. We highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!”

“Bruce was amazing! He took care of our corgi Winston for a few days while we were away. He sent videos and photos throughout the day. He also provided updates on my pup! I really appreciated the quick updates. I would definitely book again and recommend him.”

“My two little guys (10.5 year old papillon) spent a week with Kristine and her doggies while we went on family trips. Kristine was very nice, warm, and professional. She made sure all parties were comfortable and felt safe before taking the dogs into her home. She sent us photos and updates throughout for our peace of mind. When I picked them up after the 4th of July, they were exhausted from all of the playing they did in her yard. We're so grateful for her tender loving care of our little adventure buddies.”

“Brynne took great care of my dog and sent pictures and updates daily. She made it easy for me, and gave my dog all the attention she needed. So much better than a kennel. Thanks Brynne!”

“Really appreciate Kyle watching after Milly. He was super easy to work with and communicated with me along the way, sending photos of Milly while I was gone. I appreciated knowing she was being cared for.”

“Dominique did a stellar job with Soji. She knows her stuff about caring for dogs and I believe that is where her heart is. I can say she's the one to choose and I will definitely choose her again.”

“Kenzi and her family are amazing! They took such good care of Ralph and loved him as their own. She had things prepared like frozen lick mats and a little pool for outside when our weather was going to be close to 100*. I’m sure Ralph can’t wait for our next trip so he can stay at Kenzi’s house again!”

“Julie was great! I loved getting regular photos and updates and my puppies were clearly happy and well cared for. Julie was communicative and extremely flexible- I would recommend 1000%. I think my pups were sad to leave. :)”

“Kristin was an absolute delight! Upon our introduction her warm and inviting demeanor made it clear that she was the obvious choice for our fur babies. We could not be happier knowing that Maggie and Mojave spent the night with Kirstin (Maggie and Mojave agree)! 10/10!”

“I loved that Ashley set up a little meeting before the visit and knew that my baby was going to be well cared for! He hardly cared that we came home because he loved his time away!”

“Micah was great! He was very responsive, sent great updates about my doggies little adventures, and helped keep my critter very comfortable and well taken care of.”

Brynne took wonderful care of our pup Stella. Stella had a cyst burst while we were away and Brynne cared for her well and helped ensure Stella didn't lick or scratch the wound. She communicated well and also did a great job acclimating Stella to the other dogs she was watching.

Embry is always treated like family at Casondra’s house, you can tell because when I drop her off she walks in like she owns the place and hardly turns around to say goodbye. Our girl always has the best time there, thank you always for loving on her like she is your own!

We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

Monica was loving and caring about my pups like her own. She took them for hikes/walks, played games and lots of cuddling! She was super communicative and sent daily picture/video updates. She is flexible with the schedule. She clearly loves animals. I will absolutely use her again!

This was the best experience ever! Caileigh and Ryan took such great care of my dog. She had special feeding and medication requirements and they did it all. My dog had a blast with their dogs and they loved on her like their own. The communication was wonderful and I was sent several pictures a day updating me on how my dog was doing. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
