“This is my first using the Rover and all I can say we loved it. Mandy is very caring and she was great with our dog, she sent us nice pictures thru our dog staying, for sure we will be using her service again. Our communication with her was great thru the service. Thank you Mandy. ??❤️”
“Lottie was well taken care of. Casondra is amazing with animals! She sent me pictures each day I was gone and let me know how my dog was doing. I appreciate her and recommend.”

“Chris, and her family, were amazing with Harley. He was so well taken care of and loved in their home. I have already booked Harley's next stay. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.”

“Wendy is the best! Our dog runs from the car up to her front door every time we leave him with her! Great to know he is staying with a family he loves being with. It takes a lot of stress out of leaving him.”

“Super convenient location off the canyon in Peterson. Love it that kids get to love on my dogs when their mini humans aren’t around. Thanks Crystal for hosting our princess at your place.”
“Phoebe was fantastic! She was flexible with the pick up and drop off time. Leica was well taken care of and happy when we picked her up. It was a wonderful experience. We plan on using her again soon. Thank you! 🙏🏻”

“Sydney was very kind and super accommodating. Moose is just a baby- 5 months, and she was able to take him in and give him a great home for the week. I got updates and pictures every day, and would definitely book with Sydney again. A great experience for a first time Rover user!”

“We were nervous dropping our pup off. This is the first time he’s ever had to stay with anybody else. He was well taken care of, and seems to have gotten lots of love, playtime, and cuddles while we were gone!! They also went out of their way to make sure he was safe by using one of their personal harnesses because she was nervous about him escaping from his collar. She was very responsive, overall a great experience.”

“Our dog loves going to Bianca’s house! She’s great to send pictures and keeps you informed about how your pet is doing. We will for sure go back to her when we need someone to sit our pup.”

“Cydnee was awesome, very communicative before and during Nairobi's stay. She sent me photos everyday and played fetch with Nairobi the morning before I picked her up so she'd sleep through our long drive. The house had everything for pups to have a good stay, including sectioned areas, toys, beds, and more! If needing a sitter in the SLC area again, will definitely go with Cydnee!”

“Tammy and Jeff are awesome! We got so many videos of our pup playing fetch (her all time favorite thing to do) - she was loved and spoiled! Highly recommend Tammy & Jeff to watch your fur baby.”

“They are amazing! This is our second time having them watch chewy and they do a great job. They updated us with pics and how she was doing. I would definitely use them again.”

“I had the best experience with Elena & Donald. My two fur babies were taken care of and loved on while I was away at work. I will absolutely bring them back! I even recommended them to my mom. They are fantastic, caring, and wonderful to work with. I truly thank them for taking such great care of my dogs.”

“Evette was so good to our dog, and lives in a doggy dreamland with so many friendly neighbors. This was our first time leaving our dog and we would absolutely leave her with Evette again in the future. She was also super flexible with our short notice travel plans, which was a huge relief.”

“This was my first time boarding our dog and Cambree was awesome. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. She was so patient and helpful throughout the whole process from helping our dog transition and feel comfortable and communicating with me on how he was doing. She was very accommodating with our schedule and quick to respond. Our dog came home happy and relaxed.”

“Bruce was amazing! Very accommodating and quick to respond. He also sent pictures and videos of our pups which we appreciated! Will definitely be booking with Bruce again in the future! 🐶”

“Crowe and Taylor were wonderful! Quick to respond and made sure we had any questions or concerns answered or taken care of. They sent lots of pictures and updates on Hazel which we loved. She was happy and well taken care of :)”

Bruce and his wife were so reassuring from the moment I dropped Stu off! This was his very first time being boarded, so I was a little nervous and had no idea how he would do. They put my mind at ease and even sent me pictures and a video showing me how happy he was and how much fun he was having. ❤️ Stu came home happy and nice and tired from all the fun! It meant so much to know he was comfortable, safe, and well cared for while I was away. I’m so thankful for such a great first boarding experience. Thank you so much, Bruce and your wife, for taking such good care of my little guy! 🐾❤️

Roxana was wonderful with my elderly chihuahua. He definitely has a big personality and some quirks, but she got along with him wonderfully and was very accommodating of his needs. She was very flexible with drop-off and pickup times and communicated very well. I would definitely send my dog to her again!

We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
