“Our dog had a great couple of nights here. Came home happy and well taken care of. We definitely recommened Sydney. Especially if your dog gets along great with children. Our Westie had a blast.”

“Rizzo’s second visit to Casondra’s and he loved it again! He loves hanging out with her family and animals and gets all the love while we are gone. We always feel so comfortable dropping Rizzo off with them.”

“Bruce was amazing! Very accommodating and quick to respond. He also sent pictures and videos of our pups which we appreciated! Will definitely be booking with Bruce again in the future! 🐶”

“Wendy is so great and calm and provides excellent communication. Nova seemed very happy and comfortable there. She is often very anxious and shakes when we go to the vet or the groomer’s, even if it’s one that is new to her, but she was calm at Wendy’s and when we dropped her off she walked right up the stairs to her house like it was where she belonged, so I felt really good about leaving her there. I definitely recommend Wendy and will board with her again.”

“If your dog is a nervous nelly you need this lady! She is great. My Mimi IS the nervous nelly. We left her once before and it was not a good experience. I told Kristin and she suggested I bring Mimi over to play with her other dogs. I did this three times before we left her. Two of the times I left her I just dropped her off so Mimi could play without me there. I think it helped. If she is available, she is definitely will be our go to every time we leave! Kristin is such a fun lady. She will take your dog and love it like you do.”

“Brynne was amazing! She kept us updated how our dog was doing. Send us pictures and checked in with us! Our dog loved it! We will definitely use her again:) Thank you”

“Cydnee was awesome, very communicative before and during Nairobi's stay. She sent me photos everyday and played fetch with Nairobi the morning before I picked her up so she'd sleep through our long drive. The house had everything for pups to have a good stay, including sectioned areas, toys, beds, and more! If needing a sitter in the SLC area again, will definitely go with Cydnee!”

“Julie took great care of our dog! She made sure Daisy only ate her own food, which is not always easy to do with multiple dogs. She sent photos so we could see she was adjusting well and enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dog.”

“Tessa was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our two dogs, Parker and Koda. She made our first experience using Rover completely stress free. She kept us updated, followed all our care instructions, and made sure our pups were happy and comfortable. We highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!”

“Anna is SO great!! She communicated quickly and was super accommodating with our schedule, even with such short notice. We got photos every day of Chaco and they were always up to something fun outside! She also had the nicest things to say about Chaco - he fit right in with her crew at home which made me feel at ease while I was gone. We will be booking again and again!”

“Our dogs always have such a great time with Julia. It’s clear they feel right at home and are very well cared for. When we pick them up, they’re always happy and relaxed—so different from the anxious energy they’ve had after other boarding experiences. We’re really grateful to have found someone we trust with them.”

“Brooke and her family took such great care of our dog. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with them. Brooke sent pictures and daily updates. Our dog received lots of exercise and play time and always seemed so happy in the pictures. We recommend Brooke as a dog sitter and will book with her again.”

“Excellent attention to our instructions and very warm and friendly family. Our dog was very happy in their home and we received regular updates and photos. Will definitely work with them again.”

“Traveling during the holidays is stressful enough without worrying about your fur babies. Adam and Erica put all those worries to rest. Our pups were well cared for and clearly enjoyed their time here. We received cute pupdates and will continue to book with Adam and Erica. They truly cared for our dogs as if they were their own.”

“Tammy and Jeffery were amazing to take care of Coco. She came home exhausted because she had such a great time and played a ton. I got tons of pictures and videos of Coco while we were away. I highly recommend them for anyone. I will definitely be using them again to take care of our precious dog. Thank you Tammy and Jeffery.”

“Cassie was great to work with and made it easy to be away from our border collie Indie knowing she was being well cared for. She sent us updates and pictures daily and was very attentive to the needs of our Indie girl. We will certainly use Cassie again when needed and we highly recommend her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Centerville
We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

I was incredibly grateful to Makell and family for watching over my beloved boy while I was away for work responsibilities. This was the first time we had to leave him for a week and it was stressful for me. Makell was so kind, allowing us to come for a pre-visit before my departure, which significantly put my mind at ease. I received daily updates and photos which were truly appreciated!! I can tell he had a great time and made new friends when I picked him up. Their fenced-in backyard was a great place for Lucas to play with their kids and their dog, Charlie! Thank you so much!! I can't express enough how much this relieved my mind as my dog means everything to me. I would highly recommend Makell to anyone needing a clean, kind, fun and safe place for their furbaby!🥰

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
