With Mom and Dad home throughout the day, your pup will have consistent companionship and supervision—not just a place to stay. We also have 3 boys at home that love all things dogs! (Ages 14-17) We tailor your dog's stay to their energy level, whether that means trail walks, runs, playtime, fetch in our large fenced yard, or simply relaxing and soaking up attention. Meals are prepared according to your instructions so your dog’s routine stays as familiar as possible. Our family has a calm, friendly 70-pound Labradoodle who loves having canine visitors. He is easygoing, non-dominant, and does not have territorial issues. We know getting ready to leave town can be hectic, so we are also happy to help with local pickup before your trip or drop-off at your home after your dog’s stay. We always have one or two adults are home throughout the day. One works from home, and Mom is also here to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. The only regular exception may be while we attend church, and we will always make sure your pup is comfortable, secure, and settled before we leave. Pictures and update texts will be sent daily! Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore, along with lots of toys to keep them entertained. We also have a dog door for pups who are used to moving freely between the house and yard. Our two 14-year-old boys are true dog lovers and happily help with playtime, attention, and care. We only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives personalized attention and is treated like part of our family. About: I have two dogs myself both going to be two in May. I’ve had a multiple different animals growing up. in school to be a veterinarian. I am free in the afternoon after 4pm and during the weekend, I’m free anytime. In the holidays it’s more hard to fit in my schedule, but I try to get as much as I can open so I can help. I make sure that they have the food and water that they need and also the right amount of exercise daily. We have many toys and we have a Dog Park that is really close by to my house and also quite a bit of hikes nearby.

About: I have had pets in my home for my entire life. I have volunteered in animal shelters since 2019 and currently do regular shifts at a local shelter, where I walk dogs (I am trained to the most advanced level, meaning I can interact with and walk dogs who are still working on their social skills and interactions), take dogs and cats on local news shows to encourage adoption, foster dogs in my own home, and take part in educational opportunities to continually advance my animal care and advocacy abilities. My full-time job is remote and has a flexible schedule, so I can hang out with pets for much of the day and take breaks for outside time, playtime, appointments, and so on. Since I’ve retired early, I have time for new experiences and to meet awesome pets in new environments. I use a mobility scooter for long distances so walks on sidewalks and flat trails are fine. About: Ive grown up around a variety of animals my entire life, from your standard cats and dogs, to rabbits and chinchillas, to turtles and ducks! I have experience taking care of pets with specific medical needs and those who have limited mobility. Ive been watching over pets both for my family and for friends for 8 years and would love to be able to help take care of your furry (or not so furry) family members! I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah and am in the process of searching for a job, so Ive decided to spend this extra time devoted to both mine and other's pets! At my own home, I have two cats. One cat has chronic pancreatitis and often needs medicine to treat her symptoms, both in pill and liquid form. The other cat is an escape artist so I know how to walk into my home with extra caution to ensure they stay inside. Both cats can be playful, so we use laser pointers, furry mice toys, and worms on a stick to make sure they get their energy out, but we make sure not to use feathers or loose strings that could be harmful if ingested. We also have plenty of scratching posts available, as well as two cat trees for them to climb and scratch to their hearts content. In the case of discipline, my husband and I use a spray bottle of water to help discourage unwanted behaviors.

I am trained in proper animal care, handling, and boarding as well as distributing medications as necessary, taking temps, and assessing common issues seen amongst animals. I am certified in a course that teaches you to read animals behaviors and adjust your situation accordingly. I know that smaller dogs should be taken out more frequently as their bladders are smaller. I’m also aware of bloating in larger dogs and will always give them a 2 hour window after they eat a meal before giving them any kind of exercise. I know how to calm animals in distress or showing signs of aversion as well as comfort animals showing major signs of fear or nervousness. Your animal will be in the safest hands with me. I’m always out of work no later than 4 pm and can do anything after work. I also typically have 3 days off a week so I have plenty of free time! I stick to a tight schedule when it comes to being outside and exercising and love to include pups in my routine! I also know quite a few tricks when it comes to proper animal management and training as I have worked in doggy day cares and veterinary offices :) On days off, I have pretty much the whole day to spend with pets and they can be watched at all times if needed. They are sure to have the best and most active time they can have with me!

About: I’ve been animal sitting for over 10 years and have always had animals of my own. I don’t have a fur baby right now, so I’m looking to spoil yours!
