About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs at every stage of life. My most recent pup had several health issues, which taught me to be especially attentive to medication schedules, routines, and changes in behavior or well-being. I’m passionate about providing a safe, loving, and happy environment where every dog feels comfortable and cared for, no matter their age or needs. I’m currently full time- however I work a hybrid schedule. I will be working from home on Thursdays and Fridays to help accommodate any weekend trips! Although I do not have a yard, I have access to grass outside my home and the surrounding neighborhood. I myself no longer have my own pup, but I live with my sister who owns a French bulldog. He can help keep your pup company, and for those pups who are a little less friendly and prefer to keep to themselves, I am able to keep them completely separate, and will crate if needed/wanted.
“Mandy worked with me to drop off Zoey early on a Thursday and to pick her up later on a Sunday. Zoey was worn out when I brought her home. That's always a good sign of a great stay!”

“Was very please to have my 4-month old puppy stay with Wendy and her family for four nights while I was on vacation. She had one other puppy staying there which was perfect because they could play and my puppy could socialize but still have enough one-on-one time with Wendy. They even taught her to shake by the time I got back. Would book again.”

“Sydney was awesome! Easy to work with. Her place is clean and with lots of light. She took good care of my dog and I really appreciate that. I’ll go back to her for sure.”

“Kristine was absolutely amazing with Jack! He loved her big backyard and playing with the smaller dogs. She was so great with him and we’re SO grateful!! We will definitely be using her again!!!”

“So grateful for good care for our puppy. Lots of pictures and a happy healthy puppy at the end. Thanks so much! Grateful for Hailee working with us when stuff came up on our end.”

“Brooke was awesome with our dog, Rusty! She even sent us daily pictures of him and let us know how he was doing. Since this was our first time boarding Rusty, it was comforting to know we had chosen such a caring person to leave him with! When we picked him up, she sent him home with a fun goodie bag! We will definitely be using Brooke again!”

“Rey R and family were fantastic sitters for my dogs. They did everything to make my dogs comfortable, safe and happy. Everyone benefited. They went beyond the call of duty as well. Their full time, caring and responsible care made my vacation even more special. I will definitely use them again if I can. They are the kind of families that give Rover a good name. I’m grateful.”

“Cydnee and Kelsee were great in taking care of Coco. We were sent several pictures which we always love. They also reached out to us when our pup wasn't eating very well and they tried what we sent and told us she was doing much better. It was great to have them care so much for our pup. We would certainly recommend Cydnee and Kelsee to watch your pup. We will be back again.”

“Kenzie is always so great with Sofie and she updates me with pictures every day which we love. She was also very flexible and easy to work with when I messed up my pickup time and then was also late. Will definitely keep taking Sofie to her!”

“Bruce was amazing! He took care of our corgi Winston for a few days while we were away. He sent videos and photos throughout the day. He also provided updates on my pup! I really appreciated the quick updates. I would definitely book again and recommend him.”

“Erica is our go to sitter. We don’t worry about our dogs at all, we know they are being well taken care of. They get walks and lots of love! We also get pictures throughout their stay. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Alex and Alesia were awesome! They were super accommodating and flexible and took great care of my pup. My dog got to go on hikes, walks to the park, and have plenty of playtime in between. Thanks to them we have a happy (and tired) dog!”

About: Your dog will receive so much love and attention during their stay. With Mom and Dad home throughout the day, your pup will have consistent companionship and supervision—not just a place to stay. We also have 3 boys at home that love all things dogs! (Ages 14-17) We tailor your dog's stay to their energy level, whether that means trail walks, runs, playtime, fetch in our large fenced yard, or simply relaxing and soaking up attention. Meals are prepared according to your instructions so your dog’s routine stays as familiar as possible. Our family has a calm, friendly 70-pound Labradoodle who loves having canine visitors. He is easygoing, non-dominant, and does not have territorial issues. We know getting ready to leave town can be hectic, so we are also happy to help with local pickup before your trip or drop-off at your home after your dog’s stay. We always have one or two adults are home throughout the day. One works from home, and Mom is also here to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. The only regular exception may be while we attend church, and we will always make sure your pup is comfortable, secure, and settled before we leave. Pictures and update texts will be sent daily! Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore, along with lots of toys to keep them entertained. We also have a dog door for pups who are used to moving freely between the house and yard. Our two 14-year-old boys are true dog lovers and happily help with playtime, attention, and care. We only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup receives personalized attention and is treated like part of our family. Everyone in our home has experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. We understand when a dog wants affection, when they want to play, and when they simply need a little space to relax.
“Sadie was in the hands of a most fabulous sitter. Hard leaving my girl even for a vacation but finding the perfect setter was a blessing. Ashley kept me up to date on Miss Sadie and after being gone for close to 2 weeks Sadie was happy to see me but also I could tell she loved her temporary new home with Ashley. Thank you for taking such good care of Miss Sadie!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Bountiful
Roxana was wonderful with my elderly chihuahua. He definitely has a big personality and some quirks, but she got along with him wonderfully and was very accommodating of his needs. She was very flexible with drop-off and pickup times and communicated very well. I would definitely send my dog to her again!

Wendy is so great and calm and provides excellent communication. Nova seemed very happy and comfortable there. She is often very anxious and shakes when we go to the vet or the groomer’s, even if it’s one that is new to her, but she was calm at Wendy’s and when we dropped her off she walked right up the stairs to her house like it was where she belonged, so I felt really good about leaving her there. I definitely recommend Wendy and will board with her again.

Kenzi and her family are amazing! They took such good care of Ralph and loved him as their own. She had things prepared like frozen lick mats and a little pool for outside when our weather was going to be close to 100*. I’m sure Ralph can’t wait for our next trip so he can stay at Kenzi’s house again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
