“Awesome sitter! Sent us pictures and our pup looked so happy with her stay. Sydney was always super responsive and flexible. I had put in my dates wrong for the trip and she ended up having our pup for another night on a short notice. So grateful! Thanks so much again, highly recommend Sydney!”

“Ray and his family were absolutely amazing with our dogs! They sent regular pictures and updates throughout the three nights, and it was so clear from every photo that our pups were happy, comfortable, and having a great time. For the first time, I was able to go on a trip and truly not worry, knowing our dogs were being treated like part of their family made all the difference. I can’t recommend them enough and will definitely be booking again!”

“Brooke was such a good fit for our Winnie girl! She came home so calm, happy and adjusted well which is a first for us after having her watched by several others on Rover. About: I have been fostering animals for over 10 years. I also have 3 dogs of my own along with two cats. Animals are absolutely my greatest passion. Helping animals is something I hope I can continue to do for a long time. I work from home so I am able to set my own schedule. It’s also nice that my kids are all in full day school now so my schedule is even my flexible. I will love your pet as if they are my own. Animals are family. I have three dogs of my own at home along with two cats. I do not ever want a pet to feel overwhelmed or stressed out. Leaving a pet behind is hard enough without adding any extra struggles.

“Kristine was fantastic!! I have a hard time leaving my dogs, because I love them so much. Kristine did an amazing at keeping them safe, healthy and most of all happy. I would definitely use her again. She sent us fun pictures and made sure my shy dog ate every day. Thank You!!”

“Kristin was an absolute delight! Upon our introduction her warm and inviting demeanor made it clear that she was the obvious choice for our fur babies. We could not be happier knowing that Maggie and Mojave spent the night with Kirstin (Maggie and Mojave agree)! 10/10!”

“Great backyard setup for the doggos and very experienced host! Chip had a great weekend and made some new friends, he was in good hands! Went above and beyond by helping with dropping him off after my flight was delayed. Thanks for your help!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Bountiful
Brynne took wonderful care of our pup Stella. Stella had a cyst burst while we were away and Brynne cared for her well and helped ensure Stella didn't lick or scratch the wound. She communicated well and also did a great job acclimating Stella to the other dogs she was watching.

Embry is always treated like family at Casondra’s house, you can tell because when I drop her off she walks in like she owns the place and hardly turns around to say goodbye. Our girl always has the best time there, thank you always for loving on her like she is your own!

We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

Monica was loving and caring about my pups like her own. She took them for hikes/walks, played games and lots of cuddling! She was super communicative and sent daily picture/video updates. She is flexible with the schedule. She clearly loves animals. I will absolutely use her again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
