About: I’ve always had animals in my home growing up! I have dog sitted for neighbors growing up. In highschool, I interned at an animal clinic and helped the animals in need. I want a future in helping animals find the care they need. I know that this place is the first step into finding my career. I am working full time, but I am at my house around 6pm or earlier Monday-Friday. If your pet needs to go outside in the afternoon, I have resources to help me with that. If I am dog-sitting your dog, I will walk it once I get home from work and make sure they are cared for! I have 1 dog and 2 cats in my home. My dog can be crated if needs be. I know what it is like to need a last-minute sitter and I never want price to stand in the way of your pup getting quality care. So please reach out, especially if there are special circumstances! I love going on outdoor adventures with my 7 year old black Lab, Ellie! We especially enjoy hiking, swimming at the lake, and playing fetch at the park. On cold and rainy days, we'll do indoor enrichment activities like hide-and-seek, puzzle toys, or catching bubbles! With my own pup at home, we go to the park in the morning to play fetch and then a walk in the evening. I work a hybrid job and my schedule is very flexible as needed. Am I happy to provide visits/walks for your dog(s) alone, or to bring my dog along if your pup would enjoy some socialization and company. Ellie is very patient and tolerant of other dogs, especially those who are extra hyper or a little guarded at first. I have had many "runners" in my lifetime, so I am extra vigilant when it comes to entering/exiting your home as well as when on walks or at a park. Growing up, we always had at least three large dogs in my home (Great Danes, St. Bernards, Dobermans, etc.) so I am very familiar with pack dynamics and experienced when it comes to walking multiple dogs at once. I have a 75 lb black lab mix and a 65 lb red heeler mix both of which are very strong. She took them both for a walk in stride and my neighbor told me she was so surely nice. About: As a life-long pet owner, lover, and caretaker, I am well-equipped to take in your furry friends and passionate about giving them a warm, safe place to stay (and play). I’ve had pets since I was a child — some of my fondest memories involve wet kisses and long, sniff-filled walks around the neighborhood. I have a large, fenced yard with plenty of room to explore, sniff, and play! I have one 11 year old dog — a sweet, social, pet-friendly Golden Retriever — to keep your pup company. His name is Simba, he loves to say hi and will engage if your pup initiates, but is also very content to keep to himself and takes cues and warnings well. Simba is a free roaming dog and I am happy to keep your pup out and about while I'm home and able to supervise. I also live with a cat who keeps to herself and stays confined to a dog-free room. She will not interact with your pets during their stay. For your pup's safety and mine, I prefer they are crate trained. That way, I can ensure they are safe and comfortable while I'm out. I also utilize kennels as a quiet space for dogs to decompress and recharge separate from outside distractions. However, they will be offered plenty of time outside of their crates, both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds in my house. However, I can enforce any off-furniture rules to maintain their routine while away from home.

Taking Sammie for walks and lots of ball time. They provided daily photos and updates on how Sammie was doing. Sammie even got along with the cat in their home. Whether your dog loves walks, backyard playtime, or simply relaxing indoors, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and right at home. • I’m available for boarding seven days a week. • I’m self-employed, so I’m home most of the day and typically only out for a few hours at a time. • As an empty nester, my home is quiet with no young children, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and supervision for your pet. • I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door and share my home with my two friendly resident dogs, Jasper (Pomchi) and Buster (young Corgi), along with my cat, GG. • Both of my dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and GG generally prefers to keep to himself. • I carefully supervise introductions and can keep pets separated using gates and crates if needed, so every pet feels comfortable and safe. • I only accept one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention, a calm environment, and a less stressful experience for every guest. • Every guest receives one-on-one attention, plenty of affection, regular playtime, and photo updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and comfortable.
“Grecia was amazing and clearly had much experience with dog behavior. My girl is a bit overreactive with strangers and Grecia immediately assessed this and knew how to handle the situation effectively calming my dog and building up her initial trust. I explained that she also has some reactivity issues with new dogs until she warms up to them which she noted and apparently worked on because she was able to get my dog to walk along with hers. I even noticed that my Mei Mei was not going crazy when confronted with a pair of loose dogs at the park on my first walk back with her. Lastly, she was able to take this booking last minute as I had unplanned lengthy work hours for a couple of days and so that in of it self was so much help. I very much appreciate her ability to work with me and the awesome experience she gave. Thank you!”
“Rachael too great care of our Golden Retriever! She had excellent communication throughout the process and sent us lots of photos/updates while we were away. She has a great yard for our dog to play in and it was a relief to not have to worry about him while we were away. Highly recommend using Rachael and we will be doing so from now on!”
