Premier Care + Quality Photos 📸 🐶

Your dog’s home away from home 🐾 My home is truly set up for dogs. We have a fully fenced yard, a doggie door for easy outdoor access, and plenty of love to go around. Dogs are part of our everyday life here—not just guests. I offer a personalized, small-scale dog-sitting experience where every pup is treated like family. I love capturing sweet (and sometimes goofy) moments during their stay, so you can expect quality photo updates while you’re away. I’ve spent over 30 years caring for my own dogs and more than 20 years pet sitting for friends, family, and clients. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs—from high-energy pups to seniors who just want a cozy couch and some extra TLC. I truly understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust.

We left our 3 yr old wire haired pointing Griffin Stanley, with Alyssa while we went on vacation. I could tell Stanley was so well taken care of! He ate well and got along well with her cute dogs. It was so nice knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He was happy and in good spirits when we picked him up, and I could tell it was a fun and not a stressful stay for him. We loved Alyssa, and hope she is available next time we need a dog sitter!

Alyssa is absolutely amazing! She took amazing care of our cats while we were out of town, and is a natural with animals. She takes great picture updates and was communicative during our whole trip! Will absolutely be booking again! She has so much experience with animals and is a true animal lover, even volunteering her own time with local animal rescues. She is great with both dogs and cats, and I would feel happy with her looking after any pet that I own! Thank you Alyssa!

Riley had a great time with Alyssa and her family. She was great about taking pictures to keep me updated and flexible with drop off and pickup. Riley was just one of the fam with her. Will def use Alyssa for future sittings.

I wish there were more stars I could give to accurately represent how fantastic she is! She went out of her way to accommodate a last minute boarding on Thanksgiving, picked her up, and only went uphill from there with repeatedly amazing pictures and extra details to make sure my pup had the best stay!

Schedule

Dog care fits naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will have regular access to our secure yard through the doggie door and will spend their day alongside us! We already have friendly resident dogs who are great at welcoming new friends and can usually help visiting pups learn the doggie door within minutes.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. I do slow, thoughtful introductions so visiting dogs can settle in without feeling overwhelmed. Every dog is different, and I take the time to read their cues and adjust accordingly. • Feeding: Dogs are fed separately to prevent food issues or stress. • Special feeding needs: If a dog is nervous or hesitant to eat, I’ll happily sit with them—or even hand-feed if that helps them feel more comfortable. • Safe spaces: I offer crates (“dog houses”) for dogs who like their own space, as well as a spare bedroom for dogs who need a quiet break from the group. • Medical & special care: I’m experienced with medications, special diets, and managing dogs with food guarding or other behavioral considerations. I also have a close family member who is a veterinarian, so if anything ever feels off, I have immediate access to professional guidance. Your dog won’t just be cared for—they’ll be genuinely loved, spoiled, and treated like one of my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

A typical day

A typical day is built around what your dog needs. Some dogs want lots of playtime, yard zoomies, and outings; others are happiest with a relaxed routine, sunbathing, and couch cuddles. I adjust exercise, stimulation, and activities based on your dog’s age, breed, energy level, and personality. When appropriate, I may include dogs in dog-friendly outings or events—but only if it suits them and with your approval. Your dog will always be treated like part of the family. Light grooming can also be requested during their stay, including brushing, de-shedding, baths, and blow-drying. Feel free to ask if you’re interested.
