“This was our first time using Rover, and Mariana was fantastic! She kept us updated on our sweet Nacho throughout the time we were gone and it brought so much peace knowing he was happy and being taken care of! We are using her again!”

“Anne was fantastic! This was the first time we have used Rover. I was super nervous but the daily updates and pictures definitely put me at ease. My older dog is not good with change but she seemed super comfortable which makes me happy. I will for sure be using Anne again!”

“As always, Toni did a great job with our pup! I always feel comfortable going out of town and leaving him in her care and he’s always happy to see her, which is a great sign. Thank you again.”

“I recently traveled and left my two dogs, Arson and Siren, in our sitter’s care. She did an amazing job! The checkins were consistent and thoughtful, always with the cutest photos. Arson and Siren looked happy, healthy, and totally relaxed, which made it clear they were well taken care of. And the goody bag at the end? Absolutely adorable! Such a sweet and personal touch. I really appreciated everything she did and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Jessica went above and beyond caring for my two dogs! They are a bigger breed with lots of quirks and needs & she was fabulous to work with and was so accommodating! I was updated often & also updated pictures and videos! My dogs seemed so comfortable and happy! Would definitely recommend Jessica!!”
“Did a wonderful job! This was the first time being away from my pup for this long and she was so great I knew he was in good hands. He had a blast playing around and making friends. I definitely recommend Elizabeth!”

“Great pet sitters! Total dog lovers, sent photos every day along with videos. Very comfortable experience while on vacation. Great communication and definitely recommend! Thanks!”

“Amber is so amazing and we will be sitting with her again. She gave us many pictures of our dog. As well as frequent updates with what the dogs were doing/ and how they were doing. Leaving your dog with a sitter is always stressful but Amber took that stress away because we knew our puppy was getting taken care of. Thank you so much Amber!!”

“Chauntel looked after our dog for about six weeks, and we couldn't have been happier with the service. We greatly appreciated receiving photos and videos that confirmed our dog was completely comfortable and thriving in her care. She is very trustworthy and we highly recommend her.”

“Great experience booking with this family! They were super flexible and sent me an update with pictures. Millie came home a happy dog! Would rebook in the future. :)”

“Once again, Mark and Cathy have knocked it out of the park! They continue to set the gold standard for pet care. They’ve cared for our dog multiple times, and each experience has been outstanding. We especially appreciate that they only take one dog at a time—perfect for our Luna girl. They go above and beyond, sending frequent updates and plenty of adorable photos throughout the day. With Mark and Cathy, you can truly relax knowing your pup is in the best hands possible!”

“This was our first experience leaving our dog anywhere other than with family. We could not have asked for a better experience! Sarah was so friendly and great with our dog! We are very great full for how accommodating she was and how she kept in contact with us while we were away! Thank you Sarah!!!!!”

“Delilah had the best time! Thank you so much for taking such good care of her. The videos you sent with your kids playing with her are exactly what she loves!! Thanks again!”

“Angela was wonderful to work with. She was friendly and available to schedule a meet and greet with her dog Luigi and her cat. Our puppy made new friends right away. Angela was right on track with all the expectations set forth by Rover. Her home is meticulously clean as is her yard. Our puppy felt right at home. Angela stuck to our routine and sent us plenty of pictures and videos of our puppy throughout his stay. I would highly recommend Angela and plan on using her services in the future. Additionally she was accommodating to our travel schedule which included an early morning and a late evening, although unplanned, greatly appreciated.”

“Evelyn was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of our dog and also was able to get our very skittish cat to warm up and come out of hiding. She was quick to respond and kept us updated with how they were doing and cute pictures of them being loved and cuddled. Our plane was delayed almost 3 hours, Evelyn was very understanding and worked with us having a later than expected pick up time.”

“Waffles came home exhausted from all the play she got while there! They were also very flexible in extending her stay when an unexpected circumstance came up! This was a great experience and I would definitely book again!!”

Elena and Donald were amazing. I was really worried leaving Reyna because she can be a nervous and slow to warm up to new dogs. They were patient and gave her all the time she needed. They provided me with photos and videos so I could see she was doing great. I would highly recommend and will happily use them again in the future to watch my girl.

Rowan had a good stay, and I appreciated the photo updates while I was away. Evelyn was also able to extend his stay by an extra day on short notice, which was a huge help and very much appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d be happy to book with her again.

Truly Bobbie is so flexible when travel plans don't go as planned, or anything else life throws at you. Cooper LOVES his stays, and he cannot wait to go back. He's absolutely exhausted (in the best way) once he comes home. I'm scared one day he will refuse to leave at pickup!! Hahahah so thankful for Bobbie and her daughter loving our pups as much as their own!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
