“Jocelyn is the absolute best. We have lived in 2 different parts of the country and have used several different sitters for all of our travel and birth of child and she has done the best job of anyone. From a caring perspective and updating us we highly recommend her. We have used her several times and will continue to do so.”

“Maverick had an awesome time with Mandi and her cute family! He spent the entire weekend playing fetch, playing with their sweet dog, Hank, and getting lots of loves. Mandi sent me pictures and updates and I knew he was happy, healthy, and safe. Definitely recommend, and we will absolutely take Mav to stay with them again!”

“Shanalee and Zachery did an amazing job with Joni and his special needs. I loved how they let him spend time in a space where he felt comfortable, had easy access to the backyard, and had friends around. I appreciated the photos and communicative check-ins while I was out of state. Would book again!”

“I loved seeing Callie spend time with other dogs! I loved that was able to have free range and supervision. We usually use someone closer to us but it was worth the extra drive time to see how loved she was!”

“She’s always been amazing with my rambunctious pup and also has great advice/recommendations! She knows what she’s doing and how to keep your pup safe and happy while you’re away”

“Amber was absolutely amazing and a godsend. We have two Heeler puppies and our boy heeler hasn’t always warmed up very good to others but Amber was amazing with him and so he warmed up to her faster than expected. We had to book last minute and she answered all of our questions and even had good questions for us about what our dogs needed. I will recommend everyone to her. I wouldn’t take my dogs to anyone else now. Thanks Amber 100 million X’s.”

“Megan was SO great! She is very attentive, and responds quickly. Her updates are always so in depth which put me at ease when I left my dog Cheeto with her for the first time. When I picked Cheeto up, he refused to get into my car and wanted to walk back to her house!! That’s when you know he had an amazing time ☺️”

“Dominique took such great care of our old boy Pinto. We will always go back to her when we leave town! She is such a professional and we can tell she LOVES dogs! 1000% recommend”

“Justine is very accommodating. I had a late night flight back home around 10:30 pm and Justine stayed up so that I can pick up my fur baby! Would recommend Justine 💯”

“Angela is fantastic with our two pups. They are always bursting with energy when we pull up to her home. They love playing at her home. She takes good care of them and sends pictures and cute videos every day during their stay. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Sammie was amazing! I had a last minute work trip planned and she was very accommodating, she took Zion my husky right in! She gave me pics and updates everyday and I could tell my dog was in great hands. I’ll definitely be using her for future services!”

“Mark & Cathy are the best! They are both super attentive, communicative, and fun! My dog has such a blast with them and I felt like she was getting the very best care- can’t recommend them enough!”

“Matti was great! Our puppy started out shy as he hadn't had much contact with other dogs. We were worried that he wouldn't be comfortable with the 3 Chihuahua that Matti has. But, Matti has made it possible and our puppy fit in just fine and seemed to enjoy other dogs' company in the end. Thank you, Matti for taking good care of our puppy while we were out of town! We will surely look for Matti again on our next vacation.”

“Great family my dog loved playing with Estephani and her kids seems like he got a lot of attention and play time which is exactly what he needs. She sent me pictures of Zeus so I knew he was doing okay which I really appreciate. They have a clean spacious house and a large fenced backyard perfect for dogs. Definitely going to book her in the future.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica! Her and her family treated Parker like she was part of their own family. She received so much love, attention, cuddles, and playtime — especially her favorite ball games and walks. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was not only cared for, but genuinely happy while I was away. I also really appreciated the frequent updates and pictures. Seeing her having so much fun and being so loved made all the difference. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond the way Jessica did. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet!!”

“Samantha was great! She sent pictures of our dog everyday and took him out for walks and playtimes. She understood my dog’s needs and I know my dog requires lots of patience, which she showed. Will definitely book again!”

“My dog spent 8 great days with this host. I received frequent updates on my dogs well-being. My dog was able to interact and play with other dogs as well. The host is very experienced with dogs and is able to communicate with them on a different level than most people. I would use this host again.”

“Kellie did an amazing job caring for my dog, Rue! I really appreciated receiving photos while I was away. It was wonderful to see Rue had such a fun time playing in the backyard and getting along so well with their dog, Noodle. I will definitely be trusting Kellie with dog sitting again in the future!”

“Karie was great with our dog! She texted updates and treated him like he was her own dog. Really appreciate the attention and care she gave to our pupper while we were out of town.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Valley City
We had a great experience! Kayla was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of my dog, Rita while we were away. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. It was obvious Rita was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend!

Shanalee and Zachery did an amazing job with Joni and his special needs. I loved how they let him spend time in a space where he felt comfortable, had easy access to the backyard, and had friends around. I appreciated the photos and communicative check-ins while I was out of state. Would book again!

Karie was amazing and such a genuinely kind person. You can tell right away that she really loves dogs. I really appreciated that she wanted to do a meet-and-greet at a park beforehand. We got to walk and talk for about 30 minutes, which helped me feel a lot more comfortable. She asked a lot of thoughtful questions about Aspen—things I honestly wouldn’t have even thought to mention—so it was clear she really wanted to be prepared and understand Aspen’s personality and needs. I also thought it was great that she brought one of her kids with her. It gave her a chance to see how Aspen does around children, which was reassuring. Since this was our first time leaving our 3-year-old dog with someone other than family, the daily updates meant a lot. The messages and pictures really helped us relax and see that Aspen was doing well and settling in. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and she was flexible with timing, which we really appreciated. Aspen came home happy, and you could tell she was well cared for. We will definitely book with Karie again and would absolutely recommend her.

Megan, her family and pups were so sweet to my little fur baby that has NEVER, in the 8 years we had him, spent the night away from our family. We will have to leave him somewhere for 2.5 weeks. We did a test run with a Megan, and the search is already over. She sent us pictures and a video and he looked so happy. He was happy to se us the next day, but we could tell he was hesitating, almost like telling us to stay there or to bring them all home with us, LOL. I can tell they spoiled him as much as we do.

My pup had a great stay with Jacie and I would recommend to anyone. I got photos every day of my dog having fun in the backyard, enjoying the view through the front windows or taking naps on the couch. Jacie was also super nice and accommodating and I am happy to had found her

Kristen and her daughter took very good care of my Nova and gave her all the love that I would and even let her sleep in the bed. I loved getting all of the pictures of Nova getting loved on and having fun with the. Will definitely trust Kristen and her family with my dog in the future.

Elizabeth is an absolute gem of a dog sitter. Our pup is so excited to go over each time, and we can tell how much our dog loves Elizabeth. She sends heartwarming and informative updates at regular intervals and is so flexible and considerate to coordinate with. Cannot recommend Elizabeth enough!

Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
