“I have two senior cats, one receives medication twice a day and the other one is not social. It’s been hard leaving them and finding someone that can check on them that often and also, someone who matches their energy. Kara (Charlie) has been great! She gave Martin his medication with no problems and he even jumped on her lap and wanted to snuggle. My other cat does not like loud noises or strangers, but he actually came out of hiding when she was there. Both cats are super messy when eating, but we came home and everything was taken care of. Kara was nice enough to bring in my packages before I had a chance to ask her. I will definitely be asking for Kara again next time we go out of town.”

About: I’ve been in the animal industry for about 13 yrs now. Currently grooming for kibbles and cuts in highland, Utah. Owned my own pet grooming company the last 6 yrs in North Dakota prior to relocating here. My goal is to reopen one here someday. I have 1 5 yr old Great Dane named, clutch. I’ve had 3 up until earlier last year so now I’m just down to the one. I wanted to be a veterinarian as a kid and ended up settling with pet grooming instead. I just knew I’d end up in the animal industry with how much I love them. Your fur babies will be in great hands! I have extensive knowledge and love for animals. Like I’ve mentioned, I’m working for kibbles and cuts at the moment and just looking to fill some of my free time ! Every other weekends I’m off along with some Mondays. I can also do evening drop ins if it fits my schedule . I will only do drop ins and do some in home sitting on weekends where I am available. I have every other weekend off and every other Monday.

“M.K. And their partner are always fantastic! They are always so accommodating to late requests and time changes. Sprout has stayed with them for day care and boarding when we were out of town. I plan to use them when we go on a Europe trip later this year. While I do think there could be a bit better communication I also recognize that M.K has a life too and I think that a lot of these reviews fail to see M.K. as a human just as we her clients are. So ultimately I don’t see any negatives to having my boy, Sprout, stay with them. I really cannot say enough high praises about M.K and their partner. Sprout is always super excited to see them! He always comes home well socialized and exercised. I know he is getting plenty of enrichment and love while there, and so so much fun! I love the photos I get everytime he’s with them, especially when he’s boarded there while we are out of town missing him! The daily photos really gives us assurance. Sprout is a very energetic dog and I truly feel that they are able to help him get all of his energy out in a healthy fun way. I’ve tried other dog day cares before and sprout always came back filthy and TOO exhausted, it was worrisome. He’d come back with wounds as well. I never have to worry about any of that with M.K. They are able to help my boy pace himself and take rests when he needs them. I really feel that the negative reviews are harsh. I cannot recommend M.K. Enough and I am incredibly grateful we have found them! We and Sprout will definitely be a life client!”

About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.

About: High Drive & High Energy experience! I’ve been very interested in all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember! I was always the dog/cat savvy one in a family. I currently own a 5 year old German Shepherd (Geist), a 1 year old German Shepherd (Levi) as well as 2 cats (Haku & Tucker)! 5 years ago I got my very first dog as an adult on my own, Geist. Geist made me find my love for training and we have learned so much in our time together. We have trained and competed in numerous dog sports; scent work, dock diving, fastCAT. We have been working hard training for a sport called PSA (Protection Sports Association) which focuses on high levels of competitive obedience and bite work. This sport has opened a whole new world for me and has taught me so much about dog behavior, handling and training. This has made me very passionate about getting dogs out there and giving them proper outlets for their energy as well as a huge passion for training and general care. My home is strictly crate and rotate (with the exception of structured time on a place bed) unless you are boarding with me for more than 3-5 days. Your pups will not meet either of my dogs except for in passing on leash or in front of their kennels. I’ve been a pooch fur baby lover since I was a kid however my dad never let me have any. When I turned 18 i moved out and rescued my now pooch. We only use the very best shampoos for the fur babies. I have experience with giving meds, shots, cpr, what to do in case of a seizure or choking etc. I work from home so I’m at home all day long along with my little fur baby. We love living good and enjoy walks and play time. I live in a townhome your fur babies will always be on a leash as their safety is my number one priority they’ll be happy and comfortable with me.

I work full time but work remotely 3 days a week. My schedule is flexible and with proper notice, I can fit whatever you need into my day! I do not offer in-home services since I have a cat of my own and she does not tolerate other animals. I am happy to visit your home to check in on your fur babies!
About: 6 months working at the humane society has gained me the skills, at walking, feeding, playing , positive reinforcement and behavioral with both cats and dogs Monday , Wednesday, Thursday I'm free after 4:30 . Tuesdays, Friday-Sunday free.i don't go out on weekend so I thought this would be perfect for me I would always make sure the client is updated on how their pet is with open communication and photos throughout the stay. About: Fully fenced property! Lifelong animal lover. I work at a local pet store where I continue to educate myself on pet health and wellness. At home, I have a fur and feather fam of dogs, cats and chickens. (Chickens are in a part of the property the pups can’t get to). I understand how scary it is to leave your loved ones while you’re away, so I make sure to give them all the loves and pets they deserve while the parents go play! High communication is key to me! I currently only work 2 small shifts a week, so I am home most days to care for your babes! We do daily walks around the school behind me and get lots of love and treats! Comfortable giving meds if needed and working with specialized diets I have a fully fenced yard and 2 friendly pups! As I have been watching friends dogs for years, my cats are used to having dogs come and go. They keep their distance with unknown pups. Any pup that visits my home gets lots of treats, lots of love and a couple new play buddies to run around the yard with!

My environment is meant for the little dogs, and they know it! I keep beds with blankets in every nook and cranny for every type of snuggler. They have access to furniture, and have every variety of space to settle they need! There are a couple open kennels (always open) that my dog don’t care to go near for those who like their den.
