Awesome sitters and even went above and beyond and bathed them mid trip!

I would not recommend this sitter. If I could choose zero stars, I would. We had some safety issues: My dog did not eat at all during his 3 day stay. They returned ALL of the dogfood that we left for the 3 day stay. The sitter did NOT report this to me during the stay. They said that he didn’t eat because their other dogs were in heat. When we got him home, he immediately ate an entire bowl of dogfood. Secondly, our dog came home with bloodied paws/nails. This caretaker said they only have concrete and gravel surfaces. Third, He came home smelling like a kennel and was filthy including dried mud on his elbow area. Clearly had been laying in dirt. They offered to bathe him at the last minute- (which tells me they knew he was dirty) . We’ve never run in to an issue like this. Ever. Finally, He had to be treated for kennel cough within a week of this stay. We felt these sitters were irresponsible. I agree with the previous review that these people seem to be “hands off”. They did not offer any proactive updates, no photos were provided, they didn’t always respond to a message, and only provided a simple message that my dog was doing “great” when I would initiate a daily message to ask how my dog was doing. They did not tell us that they had dogs in heat at the time of booking. It was mentioned literally at the last minute during drop-off. It seems irresponsible to accept an intact male for a stay during this timeframe. I would NEVER have chosen this caretaker had I known these things before booking.
