I’ve had dogs most of my life, and currently have a super friendly 85 pound husky Shepard mix who is ready to play with your dog! I work from home and have experience caring for elderly and special needs dogs. I am able to accommodate your dogs special needs. Just let me know what your dog needs. Dogs are people in my house. I’m also a very athletic person and happy to take your dog for a stroll. I’m home a lot, and love taking breaks from work to get some exercise.

About: Growing up, my dad was allergic to anything with fur. Therefore, I had lizards, fish, birds and every stuffed animal under the sun. I always jumped at the opportunity to spend time with neighbor pets and would beg to give the dogs a bath (my neighbors loved me lol). At the age of 10 I got my first horse (who I still have, 16 years later) and at the age of 14 I got my first dog. He was a Catahoula named Kyser, and he was anything but easy! I lived out of state for 2 years, and during that time I worked at a veterinary clinic and did pet sitting for clients. I miss it! I work M-F 8am-4pm, so I am only available weekends for boarding (potential for weekdays depending on the dog/situation). I am available after work for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced yard with a large male dog named Ozzy. He loves little dogs and female large dogs. He is a bit standoffish with other large males so I am unable to watch them. I would rather play it safe. I would NEVER leave the dogs together unattended. Ozzy is crate trained and has his own room so stepping out of the house would not be an issue.

This is the second time in just a few weeks we have used Alona and find her care to be absolutely amazing. We had a meet and greet for our first sitting and explained all of the care instructions and quirks of their personalities. She quickly understood how to best care for the girls. During both sittings she sent a ton of pictures from their stay: highlighting all of their adventures on walks, hikes, and PupCup treats. Her care is very dog centered and we can tell the girls have a blast there. Dropping them off for the second sitting, they knew exactly where they were and got extremely excited to visit. For them it is a pampered treat to visit Alona.
Ashley and Jason were great for our dogs. Both Roxie and Luna felt right at home and were well cared for. I appreciated getting daily texts with photos of them out playing and hanging out. Their daughters loved our Frenchie and she loved getting all that attention!
Travis was amazing! We had to leave very last minute for a family emergency. He got back to me right away and made our pup feel at home! When we came to pick her up she looked so excited and relaxed. It was so nice to know she was well taken care of while we were gone. Thanks again!
I had a wonderful experience with Candice taking care of our senior pup! She is very communicative, sent lots of picture updates, and is such a pleasant sitter to work with. Krystal was absolutely amazing. I was very hesitant to go out of town because my boy has fecal incontinence issues, but she never once made me feel uncomfortable about the situation. She took care of our Midnight as if he were her own and stayed on top of his medication without any issues. Midnight didn’t even want to leave, which says a lot. Thank you so much, Krystal, for opening your home and providing such loving care. I highly recommend her as a sitter and would use her again without hesitation.
Kristen and her family are absolutely amazing! Our dog, Luna, took to them immediately and truly loves being there. They are so loving and kind with her. Luna even knows when we’re driving down their street and will get so excited in the car and then runs into their house as if it were her own. She gets tons of play time (she's a 2 year old Aussie) and lots of walks, despite all the rain! It's such a comfort knowing she’s happy, safe, and genuinely loved while in their care.
