Worry-Free Care for your Pup!

Hi there! While I may be new to Rover, I'm far from new to pet sitting - I've been caring for pets since high school and through college. I am currently a proud dog parent to one pup, aged 3. Our older dog, who just passed at 13, worked with a professional dog trainer who taught my husband and I almost just as much as our dog! We then used many of those same proven training techniques with our younger pup when she was a puppy! Through that experience, I've gained valuable insight into positive reinforcement methods and the benefits of continuous training. Whether your dog is playful or prefers a slower pace, they'll be in loving, capable hands. I'm here to make your time away from your furry friend as worry-free as possible!

Krystal was absolutely amazing. I was very hesitant to go out of town because my boy has fecal incontinence issues, but she never once made me feel uncomfortable about the situation. She took care of our Midnight as if he were her own and stayed on top of his medication without any issues. Midnight didn’t even want to leave, which says a lot. Thank you so much, Krystal, for opening your home and providing such loving care. I highly recommend her as a sitter and would use her again without hesitation.

I knew at our meet and greet that Krystle would be a great sitter for Layla. I could tell from the photos that Krystle became Layla’s person in my absence. We use Rover because we want our pets to be part of a family and not alone in a kennel and I could tell Layla was making herself at home on their sofa. I highly recommend Krystle as a dog sitter.

Monty had a wonderful stay at Krystle’s boarding. We received timely updates about him throughout his stay there. The big backyard and her friendly pets are a bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Stella had a great time at Krystle's! She spent the night and was able to do a lot of running around in the back yard with her dog Charlie. Stella had fun at the meet and greet with the whole family and was excited when we dropped her off for her stay. We will definitely be using Krystle again. Tom and Nora

I would trust her to watch my dog anytime. She is not an easy one to take care off and she handled it very well. She gave me constant updates and made me feel good about leaving her. I definitely recommend her!!!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I'm lucky enough to work from home so I am available pretty much all day to let your pup outside as well as take breaks for playtime or go for walks! Our typical neighborhood walk is about 1.5 miles - if your pup needs more exercise, we can go 2 or 3 times a day! Just let me know! I am also available to board any day of the week.

Safety, trust & environment

I'm a very routine person so my dogs know the schedule - what time we get up, what time we have breakfast and dinner and they don't let me forget! I make sure to check the water bowl multiple times a day and have one both inside and outside. If your pet is on a medication or has any dietary issues, I will make sure that it gets done however, and at whatever time, you indicate! I'm a pretty organized person, so my house is usually picked up and things are put away so your pup won't get into anything dangerous or something that they shouldn't. Since I work from home, your dog will have the freedom to go outside pretty much whenever they want and I can make sure to let them out however often you indicate! I have a larger fenced backyard and my 3 year old pup would love a playmate! I have two large dog beds and your pet is welcome to one! Or if they prefer they're own from home that works too :) we'll find the perfect spot for it! I also have a large dog crate available if needed...

Pets

A typical day

We can play fetch in the backyard or go for walks - our usual neighborhood walk is about 1.5 miles, during nicer days, we'll go twice so about 3 miles total. During summer time when it’s warm, I have a dog pool if your pup likes water or if they like to play in the sprinkler/hose like my dog does :) During summer time as well, we occasionally walk down to Davies Beach - its about a 2 mile walk round trip! I also have a couple dog treat puzzle toys if your dog enjoys those or can make up a Kong treat at your request!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, food/toy aggression or other such issues ahead of time. It will help me do my best to care for your pup!
