24/7 home care on five quiet acres
Some dogs don't do well in a kennel. Ours is set up for those dogs. We have five acres in Lake Stevens, so your dog isn't surrounded by unfamiliar dogs or waiting for a turn outside. There's room to chase a soccer ball, splash in the creek, or find a quiet corner and decompress. For a nervous dog, that space matters more than anything else we could offer. No crowding, no kennel noise, no being pushed into playgroups. We're especially comfortable with dogs who need a slower start. The ones who hide the first evening, won't eat the first night, or shadow you from room to room. And we're patient with seniors, whether that means help on stairs, medications on schedule, or just a soft place and a predictable routine. If your dog struggles with boarding, tell us what usually goes wrong. It's often something we can work around. We do not have a fenced yard, but take dogs out on retractable leashes so they get plenty of playtime and exercise.

Ashley was awesome for Rufus! She sent plenty of updates and was very communicative throughout. Very nice and clean home with kids to play with which I'm sure Rufus loved.

Ashley and Jason were great for our dogs. Both Roxie and Luna felt right at home and were well cared for. I appreciated getting daily texts with photos of them out playing and hanging out. Their daughters loved our Frenchie and she loved getting all that attention!
Ashley and her family provided excellent care for our golden retriever Conner. Received photos daily of him playing and looking so happy!! We felt reassured that he was very comfortable and enjoying his new environment while we were on vacation.
Ashley was so caring and comforting of Sam and Lo. She shared a several photos throughout the day giving me a warm feeling they were being cared for. The communication was great. Ashley was able to care for Lo by giving her meds she was on at the time of her stay. Their kids were also loving on Lo which warmed my heart since Lo is 16.5years old and blind. I 100% recommend, very caring family.

Schedule
Ashley works remotely, and Jason is a full-time stay-at-home-partent, so someone is on the property nearly all day. Your dog isn't alone in a strange house waiting for us to come back, which for an anxious dog is usually the whole problem. We're honest about the exceptions. We leave for our daughters' activities, and those are usually short. If your dog can't be alone for an hour, tell us and we'll plan around it. Pet care is already part of our day rather than added onto it. Meals, walks, medications, and playtime fit a routine that's been running for years. Our girls are part of that too, so dogs here get used to kids around the house. We're a good fit for shy, nervous, and senior dogs. We're not equipped for dogs with a bite history or dogs who are aggressive toward people or other dogs.

Your pet will have plenty of playtime, cuddles, and walks throughout the day, and we’ll ensure their routine is maintained to keep them comfortable and happy. Our home is a safe, loving environment where your dog will feel right at home.
A typical day
We have a wide variety of dog toys and always keep plenty of tennis balls on hand for endless games of fetch. If your dog enjoys water, we also have a creek on our property where they can splash around and cool off, we make sure every dog has plenty of opportunities to stay active, engaged, and entertained during their stay with us.

- Please let us know if your dog has any special care needs, such as medications, specific dietary requirements, or any behavioral quirks we should be aware of. It's also important that your dog is comfortable around children, as we have 2 children in our home. While our children are always gentle and respectful of animals, they will never interact with your dog unsupervised to ensure everyone's safety and comfort. Clear communication about your pet's needs helps us create the best possible environment for them while they’re in our care.
