About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, with 2 dogs and 2 cats since I was 3 years old. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with animals of different ages and temperaments. I’ve even dreamed of owning an animal shelter one day! I’ll treat your pets with the same care, attention, and affection I would give my own. Starting in mid-May, I’ll have a very flexible schedule and will be available for pet care throughout the week. I’ll likely have another part-time job, but I’ll be able to work my schedule around pet-sitting and make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention and care they need. I’m especially interested in regular or recurring pet-care opportunities and am happy to accommodate different schedules and routines. When house sitting, I treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give my own. About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

Maggie was incredible! Right off the bat was very communicative and flexible with my schedule. She took great care of Finn and sent pictures/updates every day. I originally had her stay an extra night because I knew my flight would get in late. When I decided to drive home instead of getting a hotel, Maggie was so flexible and even washed the sheets/made the bed for when I got home. Kailyn did an incredible job caring for our dog and two elderly cats overnight while we were out of town for several days.
