“Deb has been a great help with Teyo who’s recently been displaying behavior issues after his first visit to the vet with me as his owner. She’s been willing to do and share training articles on his behavior; drive him to & from dog parks; and care for him nicely. I’m very grateful to have her on my puppy-raising team :)”

“Ian was very helpful and flexible in taking care of our dog and adjusted his schedule to help us out as another pet friend joined our family. We will use again in the future.”

“I am so grateful to have found Gabriella! She instantly connected with my dog and met him with care and enthusiasm. After our first walk together, I was confident about booking her to watch him during my upcoming vacation. She was eager to learn his commands and routine and I wholeheartedly trust her to make sure he is well loved and well looked after.”

“So this is one of those reviews where I want to give a glowing review, but also not too glowing so that no one else finds out how awesome Jourdan is and swoops her up. :) Jourdan has been amazing from day 1. I have a shy rescue dog that Jourdan was able to connect with through patience, knowledge and awesomeness. The photos, the notes, and the reliability have been great. At this point, my dog is so comfortable with her that she’s become a little bit more sassy and playful. Couldn’t ask for a better Rover sitter.”

About: I have always been told I have a way with animals- I have grown up around lots of pets and petsit for friends and family. I am a student with a flexible schedule and my own car so it is easy for me to fit pet care in my day! I have a fenced backyard and live near a park, I have been petsitting in my house for years and there have never been any issues.

“Danny is wonderful with my dog. I was out of the country and felt comfortable knowing that my dog was in good hands. Sadly (for me) he is moving away but he will make other pet owners very happy in his new city. Reiji will miss you!”

About: I love caring for all kinds of animals from rabbits, chickens, goats, and hedgehogs. Having worked as an urban farmer, I am very experienced in caring for animals professionally. I have been a pet sitter for 10 years and have walked dogs on a regular basis for two. Dogs are the best! I look forward to giving your fur baby all of my attention, empathy, and patience. I love the challenge of meeting and working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have cared for dogs of advanced age with medication needs, excitable puppies, and every age in between. Getting to know your dog is my goal. Your dog is in strong and caring hands - every walk will be an adventure! I work in person about one day a week, so I have a great deal of schedule flexibility. Whatever your pet's schedule is, I can likely accommodate it without any conflicts. As a pet owner myself, I know how precious your animal is as a member your family. I will do my best to give them lots of affection and stimulating play while respecting your home environment.

“Ursula is the best! She has walked my dog twice since my injury. She confirms walks very quickly and has great availability. She can handle my dog reactive pup :)”

About: I’m a stay-at-home dog mom with a variety of pet sitting experience. Dogs in my care will get plenty of affection and attention until they are ready to be reunited with their person. My daily routine with my own doggo consists of outside play and long walks at Grant Park. Plenty of time to devote to your pup while in my care. I have a dog friendly home with a fenced yard and a carpet steamer just in case there is an accident. I take my dog out for a long walk each day, sometimes two when the sun is shining. The main floor of my home has room to play in case it’s raining and we need to get some energy out of your pup. I also have plenty of toys, snuffle mats, and food/treat toy puzzles to keep your pup mentally engaged.

“Sidra is incredibly caring and focused on Jet’s well being and safety, being attentive to his cues and needs. After just one interaction I feel completely comfortable with Sidra taking care of Jet!”

About: Hi there, my name is Bella and I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet! Whether it is a drop-in or a prolonged stay, I will make sure your pet(s) is full and happy. Before spending one-on-one time with your pet, I like to meet owners and their pets to ensure comparability! As a pet owner myself, I understand the responsibilities and needs both dogs and cats require. We would go on walks and spend some time outside getting exercise! In spite of the fact that I have two wonderful cats, I enjoy the company of dogs very much. I have experience looking after a Corgi, cats/kittens, and a Great Dane! Pet care is part of my daily routine! Making sure my/the pets are relaxed and taken care of is of most importance. I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own. Making sure to follow instructions if given and that the pet is fulfilled. Making sure your pet is happy and comfortable is important to me

“Matt is super with our boys and meets their and our needs. Great communication and prompt replies about anything that comes up is very helpful. Will book him again and again.”

“Caroline was communicative and flexible! Juniper was well taken care of. Juniper is still a puppy and working on being on a leash and potty training and Caroline accommodated where she is at with her training.”

“Stephanie was so patient with Scout — she tried all kinds of tricks up her sleeve before he warmed up to her the first time she came to walk him. From there on out the two of them got along great and Scout loved his walks with Stephanie. Thank you!”

About: Growing up I was surrounded by animals. Not only did my family have three pups and two cats of our own, most of our neighbors were equally as animal-crazy! I was lucky to get plenty of experience walking, playing with, sitting, and caring for animals as a kid and young adult. When I moved to Portland, my lengthy experience taking care of animals made me the unofficial go-to pet sitter for friends, coworkers, and classmates helping me to keep my pet-keeping skills in tip top shape — plus being able to add even more breeds of cats, dogs, rodents, and the occasional reptile to my repertoire. I have now been an official sitter for about six years and loving every minute of it! In short, I am a pet-enthusiast at heart with tons of experience looking forward to meeting your furry best friend! I work from home with a very flexible schedule and love breaking up my workday visiting adorable animals. I can accommodate most schedules between 8 AM and 10 PM during the week and weekends are fair game! I aim to adapt to your family’s unique needs and maintain pet’s day to day balance as much as possible! Need me to knock before coming in the front door? Do your cats need a bell rung for dinner time? Does your pup prefer to go on walks with booties on? Is your pet on a training plan you’d like your sitter to help support? I’m here for it all! New people can be a tough disruption for some pets — and owners! — so my core aim is to always keep everyone is as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! 💕

“Anna has been awesome to work with! She’s very attentive, asks great questions, and clearly loves spending time with Ginny. I can feel confident while at my new job that my pup is in great hands. I highly recommend Anna.”

About: I've been taking care of varying breeds since I was in high school. Though I grew up with smaller breeds, I also have a love for larger dogs and have a propensity for our deeply misunderstood pitties/land seals. I have experience with caring for anxious and reactive dogs from fostering in the past. I am graduating residency end of June and studying for boards the rest of summer, leaving me with a flexible schedule to care for your deeply loved fur babies while you are away. I review typical schedules with my client's including feeding, walking, and if applicable, medication administration. I also review any known commands, personality traits, signs of distress, and specific rules to upkeep (e.g. no jumping up on people, laying on the couch, etc).

About: I’ve had dogs my whole adult life, from puppies to seniors. I’ve been caring for (walking, sitting, etc) friends and family pets for 20 years. I have been a foster home for dogs that are medically fragile/post surgery. Lost my dog 2 years ago and want to spend more time with dogs/have a flexible schedule which allows me to do so. I work from home/have a very flexible self made schedule so I can work from anywhere and can schedule around walks, pet sits, whatever is needed I can and do go into others’ homes for pet sitting and walking. I currently have 2-3 regular friends I sit for and have done so in their homes for many years. I know the local emergency vet clinics around town if emergencies were to come up.

Rachel A.
“Rachel is incredible with dogs. She rescued her dog, Meatball, from a horrible situation in a bad state of health and lovingly helped her get to an incredible life. She is wonderful with my dog, Lucy - plays with her, walks her, gets her to follow the rules better than I can, and she can even get her to take her pills when I can't. Meatball is a pitbull and Lucy is a labradoodle. From those two breeds to everything in between, Rachel is great with dogs. When she walks the two dogs down the street she is great at asking when it's okay to say hi, reading dogs' body languages and understanding the situations. I would trust her with my dog any day. ”
