About: My most recent animal care experience is from my current Veterinary Hospital Assistant job. This year, I also worked as a Temporary Kennel Technician and volunteered at One Tail At A Time in Portland. I’ve gained experience safely handling animals with different personalities, monitoring behavior, administering medications, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals and people. I also completed Dog and Cat First Aid Training through American Red Cross. I currently have a full-time job as a Veterinary Hospital Assistant. About: I've been a pet-owner since I was a kid, and have several years of experience as a professional dog Handler. About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.
