“Taryn is absolutely excellent! Went above and beyond to spend time with my kitty, and find ways to get him to eat and get his meds when he was being finicky. Highly recommend for a sit!”

“Taylor is very sweet and I instantly felt comfortable with her. I really loved and appreciated the daily photos she took of my cats while I was on vacation. All seemed to go smoothly. The only thing I would change is I would have liked some form of communication along with the photos, regarding how my kitties were doing. Just a simple sentence would have been great. :-) I will definitely use Taylor again. Thanks so much.”

“Nicole is so patient with my fur monsters. They like her so much. I love our pre-trip meets she's such a sweetheart. She also sends the best pictures.”

“Amanda is truly caring and shows great care for Joey and Chandler! We always get great photos and updates and I know they are taken care of when we are gone. Thank you, Amanda, for showing our kitties the best care possible!!”

“We were nervous about leaving our very needy cat at home during a long trip and Susan made it so easy to be comfortable. We would recommend her to anyone. She is communicative, friendly, punctual, reliable, and very good with animals. She showed up when she said she would every time, she sent great pictures and updates, and our cat loved her. I have no complaints whatsoever.”

“My cat had a wonderful time from Erin's visits while I was on a trip. Erin made sure all of his needs were met each day, and treated him to great play and birdwatching sessions!”

“Jessica was great! She was very respectful of my home and made sure Spot got the kind of food she wanted. She brings a lot of experience and knowledge when she comes to take care of your pet!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages and energy levels- from my parents’ sweet senior Boston Terrier in her final weeks, to their very energetic year-old Bernedoodle who keeps me on my toes! I love getting outside for walks and playtime, but I’m just as comfortable with shy or senior pets who need a slower pace. My two cats at home are total opposites, so I’ve learned how to tune into each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet wants to play, nap, or just hang out, I’m here to make them feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. I work full time Tuesday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to around 5:30 or 6:00 PM. While I’m not available for morning or midday visits during the week, I’d be more than happy to hang with your pets in the evenings! My weekends typically are wide open for me, so I’m fully available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays! I maintain a consistent routine for my cats to keep them happy and healthy. At the same time every evening, we feed them both dry and wet food to provide balanced nutrition. Their litter boxes are cleaned daily to ensure a clean and comfortable environment. Playtime is very important to them, so my husband and I always make sure to spend plenty of time with them after work so they can get their zoomies out! They’re also welcome on the furniture with us, whether it’s the couch or the bed, to ensure they can always get a snuggle when they need one. (:

“Many thanks to Derek! We’d recommend Derek for your pet service needs. He was thorough, consistent, and sent pictures! We look forward to the opportunity to work with Derek again in the future!”

“Jackson took great care of my two cats while I was away. He sent me daily updates on how the cats were doing and made sure to take time to play with them. I'm happy to have found someone like Jackson whom I can trust to take care of my cats again in the future! I highly recommend booking Jackson for your pet needs.”

“First time using Rover. Hallie was very responsive, gave me tips on what to do to execute that first pet sitting and came for key exchange and intro to cats and actions needed. Came as promised and spent time here even if scaredy cars wouldn't come out. Will use again!”

About: As a remote tech worker, I have tons of flexibility to take your pets on walks, tire them out with playtime, or just hang out! After my beloved soul dog, Rufus, passed away, Rover is my outlet to get my dog fix in. I have experience with senior pets and am comfortable following special instructions and giving medications. As a cat owner, I'm also comfortable caring for cats of any disposition, whether cuddly or cranky! My schedule is extremely flexible! I work remotely and my meeting times are fixed, meaning that I can schedule dog walks and playtimes for mornings, afternoons, and evenings with no issue. I walk the Riverfront Heritage trail daily anyway, and would love to bring your dog with me for company! I'm also down to keep it low key and hang out to keep your dog or cat company while I work or read a book. I'm focusing on drop-ins and walks for now. I keep all dogs securely on-leash and avoid interactions with other animals. Depending on your pet's physical needs, I'm okay with more frequent short outings or longer, intense jogging exercise sessions. I will follow your usual outing, feeding, and crating schedule in order to keep your pet's routine consistent.

“I needed a last minute cat sitter for the holidays and Kellie was so helpful! She gave our cat his medicine with no issues and was able to take care of him on Christmas Day. Thank you Kellie, you were awesome!”

Kansas City cat parents share their Rover experiences
Caitlin was a wonderful pet-sitter and I would use her again for sure. She was lovely with my cat, gave him lots of attention and made sure he had what he needed, and I loved the picture updates. Great communication and response times, and very accommodating regarding key exchange.

I was very nervous to leave my animals with someone for the first time and Jaden completely dissipated those fears! She was willing to come meet them beforehand and was super communicative! She was kind enough to help my dog with some unexpected heath needs that required passing meds and spent time with all the animals to make sure they were doing okay. I would definitely use her services again and refer her to anyone!!

Spencer is awesome, she updated us often on how our cats were doing and was very flexible when our travel schedule changed. One of our cats needs medication daily (my husband even struggles to do it), but Spencer was able to administer it which was a big relief for me. She made me feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter!
