About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. I used to watch my friends and neighbors dogs when they would go out of town, making sure they get out to use the bathroom and get exercise as well as feed them and take them out for walks. I can administer basic first aid if it’s needed, and am comfortable with giving medicine if they require it. I currently do free lance work from my home, working on my own time as I wish to. I can do morning to to early evening pet care bookings ( 9AM - 5PM) during week days( M - Fr) with availability most the time on weekends unless stated otherwise. Accommodations can be made if they are discussed before bookings are made. I can crate dogs if necessary for any reason, and can take them out to play as well. I have a relatively large house where my pets are free to walk around without worry, none of the pets are stressed and are always relaxing in various areas of the house. Former dogs I have watched and cared for have always enjoyed my company, and never have issue with me.

“Dean was amazing! I needed someone last minute and he accommodated for my request. Great communicator and my puppy enjoyed their interactions. Will definitely book again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, so being around animals feels second nature to me. I currently have a rescue dog who’s a golden retriever–husky mix (with some shepherd and lab in there too!), so I understand the unique needs that can come with mixed breeds and rescue pets. I’m a trusted, responsible adult who truly loves animals and treats every pet like family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping their routine steady, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree online, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time during the day to care for your pets. Since I set my own hours, I can easily work around your pet’s needs—whether that’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays. You can count on me to show up on time, give your pet lots of attention, and keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I don’t offer pet care in my own home, but I’m more than happy to come to you for drop-in visits or walks. When I’m in your home, I treat it—and your pets—with the same care and respect I would my own. I make sure doors are secure, routines are followed, and your pet feels safe and comfortable. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer visit, I aim to make your pet feel relaxed and cared for while keeping you updated along the way.

About: I’ve had several years of experience with pets of all different kinds. I used to work for a professional pet sitting company, a dog day care, and currently work at a vet clinic. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, shy dogs, and hyperarousal behavior. I am currently working full time at a local veterinary clinic, and I am pet sitting part time on my days off! I am available on Friday's, some Tuesday's, and some weekends. I do not offer services in my own home as I have two dogs of my own, however I do drop in visits/walks at your home!

“An absolute wonderful person to watch after your pet! She was so loving toward Charlie and he had an absolutely blast with her while I was out of town. Big thanks to Theresa!”

“Sometimes luck is on your side. We chose Cara at random from possible Rover dog walkers, and it turns out she is a dream come true! Punctual, flexible, kind, funny, and smart, she has turned out to be exactly the right person for our needs and preferences. Pivo goes nuts with excitement when he sees her coming. He performs zoomies on walks, and even though she says he's tired out, will do them when he's back. We love her! Yay, Cara! Awesome job!”

About: My family and I have just moved to the Kalamazoo area from Tampa, FL, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for several years. Additionally, I have accumulated hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters. Between these two, I have developed skills that allow me to be comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, and allow me to help those with specific needs, such as medication/fluid administration, first-aid, aggression/anxiousness, puppy/senior care, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions! :) I am currently working part-time as a vet assistant. I have wide-open availability Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I'm available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays after 5pm. Long walks, extra love, and positive "good boys/girls" all around. It's important to me to be patient and understanding with any animal, and really listen to what it is that they need. I have no issue interacting with animals who may be reactive, anxious, aggressive, or all of the above.

About: I grew up around dogs. My grandma always had dogs around and I loved helping feed, walk, and bathe them. When I got older I convinced my parents to get me a dog of my own. On top of having a dog I also have experience working in a doggy daycare and boarding facility. Pet care fits into my routine quite well. I am currently entering college as a freshman, however I am taking around half of my courses online. Because I am only in class a couple days a week I have plenty of time on my hands to just be at home. In my home I will have a designated room for your dog to eat and sleep. This is beneficial as I have a dog of my own and while she is not food aggressive it will just help me keep an eye on your dog to ensure they are eating their own food in the right quantities. I will also have a designated space for their personal belongings and any medication to make sure it stays safe. If your dog sleeps in a kennel there will be a space for it, however if not there will be a dog bed for them to use. I will also communicate with you a proper plan for exercise and play time based on age, energy levels, and needs of your dog.

About: I've loved animals my whole life. I have a lizard which I love dearly, and I grew up with a variety of family pets but I haven’t had a chance to get one on my own. I volunteer to watch my friends and families pets for multiple years, just starting to do it professionally! I hope to utilize this opportunity to get my animal fix while incorporating some exercise! I have experience with senior cats, dogs, including dogs with behavioral issues, as well as lizards, hamsters and the occasional bird or fish. I work another full time job that is a fixed schedule Monday through Friday, so l am capable of working regular hours for your and your pets! This will be a top priority and I am so excited to care for your pet and meet new animal lovers! I have house-sit for multiple friends and family members and I make sure to leave the house as I found it and make sure to abide and respect any house rules!

“Kristen was a great walker! She accommodated a last-minute time shift, she showed up right on time, and took our pup for a good walk. We'll definitely hire her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Kate! I worked with lots of pups at a job I had living in Wisconsin and it consisted of taking care of 40+ dogs— bathing, walking, cleaning kennels, leash training, and generally spending time with them. Along with this I volunteer at the local SPCA and have 2 fur babies of my own :-) I’m available to help mornings, mid day, or evening during the week or on the weekends! I have a very open schedule so, I’m really available for whatever is needed! With the experience I have with my own pets, I am fully confident in walking, feeding, playing and crating dogs if necessary. I also have no problem with caring for rambunctious pups, as mine are the same way!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I used to assist my mom in breeding and have been pet sitting for family and friends for many years. I currently have a bulldog of my own and a leopard gecko. I work full time but I have my own dog so I can easily make sure our furry friends are well taken care of and looked after when your away! I can easily follow whatever your furry friends schedule is, whether it’s putting them in a crate to keep them safe and secure or making sure they are safe roaming through the house while your away!

“Mae did great with my 2 dogs. She sent a report after each walk with how they did and took pictures while she was with them. I'm looking forward to having Mae care for my babies every week :)”

“Kathryn was great at communicating and my dog loved his 60+ min walk! She made sure to send lots of videos and photos. I could tell he was in good hands and felt totally at ease with a “stranger” walking him. We will definitely be booking her for future walks!”

“Kendall is a very responsible and reliable pet sitter and walker. She arrives when she says she will and make sure our "third child" gets all the love and attention they need. Highly recommend!”

Nicole Z.
“I have used Nicole to check on my house cats for many years. Some were senior and required medicine. She has never been unable to meet my schedule even at last minute requests. She checks on them as agreed and always sends pictures of the cats getting their food or special treats she brings them. She takes care of their litter boxes and cleans up any ‘mistakes’ they make. She puts my mind at ease knowing that she takes such good care of them and always gives them love and attention.”
