“This was my first time with Bell. I was gone a week, away from 2 very active 6 mos old kittens who have never been left alone for more than a few hours. Bell was there on time twice a day for an hour, playing with the kittens as well as feeding them and doing cat box duty. She also filled my wild bird feeders and brought them in at night, plus brought in my garbage can and retrieved a package that arrived. She sent photos and sometimes a short message at every visit. Most tellingly, my cats were happy but not overjoyed to see me return—they hadn’t been lonely. I will absolutely call on Bell again. Finding a caretaker like her for your loved pets is gold.”

About: Hello! I am an animal lover in Durham, NC. I have a flexible schedule and feel fulfilled helping others and being around animals so this seemed like a great fit for me! I have had dogs and cats my entire life, each with their own personalities and needs. Whether your pet is super high energy and needs someone to play with, or anxious and needs a patient and calming energy, I promise I will take the time to figure out what I can do to make them (and you) comfortable. I currently have a sweet cat named Mystic who is fairly high needs, so I am no stranger to giving animals medication or being able to assess if something is wrong. Mostly, I know you are opening up your home and pets to me so I want to do everything I can to make you feel that your animal and house are in good hands :) I am just enjoying my summer holiday so my schedule is pretty flexible. I also spend my time writing and that can be done at almost any time of the day or from someone else's house if you would want me to stay the day with your pet. I can follow whatever instructions you need for the dog to feel safe in your home with a stranger. I know it might be weird having a foreign person in your space so I will do all I can to make your dog comfortable and follow whatever regimen you have.
