About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

The overall mental well-being can be difficult for a pet left alone or Un walked. I can walk you pet and visit it your pet. Something simple and attentive so when you return they have the utmost excitement. Energy to smile back you but being happy. Something a simple walk during the day can help with. To be fed and the mind interactive with what is on the other side of the window during each long day. I have a day off per week and plan to walk one dog or visit one pet. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of newborn animals and senior animals. I’m currently home for the summer, so I am fully free! I can pop by your house, go on walks, or keep your pet company at home. Your dogs will go out, have breakfast, and a short walk around the neighborhood. Your dog will have their own personal space for when they eat. I have a large, enclosed backyard and an enclosed courtyard in front where your dog can explore and we can play ball. Your pet will go outside as needed, as often as you want. Pets will usually relax inside during the afternoon and we'll go on another short walk before or after their dinner. We have a nightly routine to give a treat around 9 p.m. if okay with you. During that time, I will try to teach your dog to stay for longer periods of time, again if that's something you want. We try to be consistent and go to bed at 10:15 each night. Pets will sleep near us with the bed or crate they're used to or with us, if needed. That's our day! 👍 We have a routine with our dogs for when we eat and go outside. I can follow any instructions you have for your food, medicines, crating, dog beds, and treats. I will keep files with detailed notes of your instructions and what I learned about your pet during every stay, as we continue to get to know each other. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and happy so you can enjoy what you're doing and relax knowing that your four-legged baby is well taken care of.

I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.)
