Mary was wonderful! She sent me an update and picture of Gumbo every day. We were gone for 18 days and it was the first time we’d left Gumbo for so long or with a pet sitter, or in someone else’s home. I can tell that he was happy and secure with Mary. In the past when I’ve been away, Gumbo has gone berserk at the sight of me upon return and then snubbed me afterwards to punish me for leaving him. When we picked him up Mary had him on leash and at the storm door where he could see me coming. He was serene-still happy to see me but no jumping up on me and nearly knocking me over. He came to me with sniffs and kisses and walked calmly to the car and got in. When we got home he did a happy dance and has been attached to me like Velcro, but he is a Havanese and that is in his nature. We are using Mary again in August and in October if she’ll have us! I cannot say nice enough things about Mary!
Cami was great with our golden buddy! She sent updated pics and had nothing but great things to say about him. He felt well loved at her house. Highly recommend !
