“Christopher & Sore were phenomenal in my first ever experience utilizing Rover! Both their service & assistance was a 10/10 HIGHLY recommend! I definitely plan to utilize them again!”

“Sarah is the best! This is the first time we have used Rover and Sarah exceeded expectations! We received photo updates of our dog during her stay. Pancake came back a very happy girl!”

“Rebecca was able to work with my schedule so well. My dog, Beasley, can definitely be high maintenance sometimes, but Rebecca went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy. She also went out of her way multiple times to send me videos and pictures, keeping me updated throughout my trip so I never doubt how how my sweet dog is doing. If you live in Trussville, she’s truly the only smart option.”

“Another 5 Star stay for my pup!! As usual Ray was amazing and LogiQ thoroughly enjoyed himself. Please don’t hesitate to give him a try - he’s always super accommodating, which is insanely appreciated.”

“Tatiana was WONDERFUL! She walked Harley a ton which I know Harley enjoyed, especially after a long car ride the day before. I could tell immediately that Harley was comfortable with Tatiana and her family and that’s saying a lot because Harley can be very timid and shy around new people. Thank you for sending plenty of picture updates too, I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m in the area!!!”

“Kelsey was great with Dexter. He made himself right at home during his first stay with Kelsey and her pups. She kept us updated and sent pictures throughout the week. Will be rebooking with Kelsey.”

“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“This was our first experience boarding our dog outside of our local vet. We could not have more pleased and delighted. Barrie was sensitive to our first-time needs, sending us regular photo and video updates. We felt very secure in the knowledge that our dog was well cared for and happy. We plan to use Barrie again and would recommend her most highly. It was a real treat!”

“Rachel was amazing! She sent us pictures and updates during stay and let us know of any issues our pup was having. My sweet girl has food allergies and Rachel reached out to let us know plus did what she could to help. Will 100% be using her again in the future.”

“Ollie had a great time! He had other dogs to play with and a big back yard to run in. Amy sent pictures and videos of our sweet dog every day since this was our first time leaving him with anyone! He came home and immediately went to sleep- which means he played hard! Thanks Amy!”

“Another wonderful stay with Jessica! She treats my puppy like her own. We are so grateful for her updates throughout our trip and the detailed report she provides when we return home. She’s the best and has a lovely home full of love and toys.”

“Harold took such good care of my dogs! I could tell he really cared about them. He sent lots of pictures of them playing and him loving on my dogs. I could tell from all the pictures that my dogs were really happy and being taken care of.”

“Kordell was amazing! This was my first time ever using Rover and I was a nervous wreck, but Kordell communicated effectively and sent daily updates and pics! Definitely will book again.”

“She was phenomenal at communicating and sending pictures! I was so nervous because I’d never left my pup with anyone before, but I am so happy I left him with her!! He was in great hands and had so much fun. She was so so so great!!! I highly recommend Brittney!”

“Kmya was awesome! Very responsive and kind. My cat had a good time and was safe. Kmya sent pictures of my Lil fur baby without being prompted. I'll definitely tell everyone about her!”

“Thank you Ashley! Ashley was very nice and took good care of my dog. She sent pictures and updates every day. She took her walking and played with her. She treated my baby like she was one of her own. I will definitely be using Ashley again soon.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a child. My dad ran a kennel out of our home, so we always had dogs around,. As a teenager, I earned extra money caring for all kinds of animals, including dogs,. Growing up around animals and caring for them throughout my life has given me plenty of hands-on experience and a genuine love for pets. I work full time from home mostly, but I do travel 3 days a week for 3-4 hours at a time, but I am available to take care of your animals in the mornings and afternoons. I have a dog run attached to the house with a dog door that leads into the laundry room. I also have a large backyard that is not fenced but is great for leashed walks. I have a dog of our own who is friendly with other dogs and not aggressive, but can be crated if needed. I also have an air-conditioned shop/gym where your dog can stay in a crate if you prefer. I can offer several options to help keep your pet comfortable and well cared for.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
