“Kelly was AMAZING!!! Her timing was prompt & she went above and beyond my expectations. Working long shifts in healthcare leaves me so stressed knowing my furbabies are at home alone & knowing they got such good care from Kelly was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough. For taking the extra time to walk her, making sure she got multiple potty opportunities, and the photo updates. Highly recommend 🤩”

“Rebecca is the best!! She has been caring for my fur babies for the past 3 years, and she treats them so well! Rebecca is trustworthy and dependent. She sends the best daily updates and photos. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone!!”

About: I gained valuable experience working with sled dogs in Alaska, building patience, discipline, and confidence in handling high-energy dogs and maintaining consistent care routines. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I have consistent daily availability for drop-ins and walks, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care throughout the week. I will carefully follow all instructions, maintain routines, keep the home clean, provide attention and playtime, and send updates to ensure pets feel comfortable and owners reassured.
“I am so thankful for Nicole! She helped my husband and I when we needed someone to let our new puppy out last minute. She was responsive and on time. We will definitely be using her services again!”

“We used Jade as a sitter for the first time for a weekend trip. She took the time to find all 4 cats on each visit, including the shy ones. She sent photos and updates each visit. We will definitely schedule with her again!”

“Amanda & Janessa were so great and went above & beyond to provide love and care to my pups while we were on vacation. They were even accommodating at such last minute and sent me updates the whole time. I will be using them in the future! Thank you both so much for caring for my babies!”

“Lisa took great care of my girls despite even having a death in her family. She is very kind. We had an issue with the billing and she worked that out with Rover quickly. Highly recommend.”
About: Hey there! My name is Shae and I think I'd be a great option for you to consider as a dog friend. The past six or so years I've worked, managed, and assisted multiple different rescue organizations and have learned so much about the dogs in my care that it truly has become a profession. Before that I was a regular dog boarder/walker in Washington state on Rover & Wag which is where my reviews start from. Parents used to participate in world shows with our GSD growing up so I had young and immediate exposure to working lines and I've also had a stint working with wildlife between gigs/states. Ive worked in a spay/neuter clinic as a tech, completed animals CPR, and Ive managed animal transports which basically means I drove dogs who are out of time here in the south into the north for a better chance at life. While on transport with me, it is my job to walk them, care for them, and soothe them on the long, stressful** journey. Now Im taking care of my grandpa so I am always home. *Able to administer oral medication, and injections *Comfortable with most special cases (behaviourally or medically) *Able to care for seniors, or sense-impaired *Typically will gage health, comfort, & energy level and do playgroups; large w large and small w small dogs only. If you do not want you're pup interacting w others, please specify as I am able to keep everyone separated via sections of the home and yard rotations. Though typically when grouped, they have in-out access for 85% of the day but are supervised 100% of that time as my working space is indoor/outdoor. If multi-boarding (usually just around holidays), I do crate overnight (indoors) roughly 10pm to 7am. Multiple dogs from same home, or pups that find crates stressful, that are not destructive when alone can sleep in the guest bedroom. . Overall I'm pretty flexible and do this for the love of dogs, so if you have concerns, questions, or preferences, please feel free to shoot me a message! My pups are my world and I understand how stressful leaving them can be so I send lots of pictures and do my best to show them theyre loved while puppy-parents are away. Home full time caring for my grandfather, so dogs are roaming and playing most of the day. Longest theyll spend without outside time is overnight, otherwise its usually no more than 2hrs. Without being too curt, I ensure the dog is comfortable, safe, fed, and loved. I think this is too complicated of a question to answer in a brief box as all dogs vary and require different amounts of affection, interaction outside, medicine, et cetera et cetera.. But I am one of those people who calls my dogs my kids and I do believe they as a species deserve so much more.
“Keah did drop in visits while we were away on vacation with our Cane Corso who had recently had surgery to repair torn acl’s and meniscus. Keah was accommodating to the restrictions and provided great visits. I received detailed communication about every single visit. I will definitely use Keah in the future.”

“Sami did a great job caring for our two cats while we were gone for a week. She kept in frequent communication with me (which I really appreciated cause I can be kind of needy, lol), and the cats were happy when we got home. She got our mail too! Thanks, Sami!”

Samira is an absolute jewel! She was very attentive to my doggie and four cats while I was in Chicago for four days. She sent me photos and video updates every day and also looked out for my Temu and Amazon deliveries! I will absolutely be calling in her again next time I go out of town!

I can't recommend Emily enough! I found myself in a really difficult situation when I had to let my original sitter go just a couple of hours into a weekend trip. Although Emily was already booked and couldn't house sit, she immediately stepped in and offered to do multiple drop-in visits instead. Emily is absolutely fantastic with Melanie, and I never have to worry when she's caring for her. Because Melanie is a giant breed, hot weather can be especially hard on her, and Emily is always mindful of that. She pays close attention during walks, stays extra when she can, and makes sure Melanie has time to cool down before going back into her crate. I've booked with Emily multiple times, and I'll continue to do so. She's reliable, communicative, and truly cares about the dogs she watches. She understands that Melanie may be a big girl, but she's really just a baby in a giant body, and she treats her with all the patience, love, and attention she deserves. I couldn't ask for a better sitter!

I was incredibly anxious about using Rover for the first time. I had to be away all day on June 9th to work as a precinct clerk, and because my dad—who usually helped me with the dogs—passed away in March, I was extra stressed about leaving them. Whitney absolutely exceeded my expectations and put all my worries to rest! She went above and beyond from the very start, coming by a couple of days before her visit to meet Emma, Junior, and Target, and to get the lay of the land. Her communication was amazing, and I loved getting the photos she sent of each of my dogs throughout the day. They clearly liked her a lot! She is also incredibly adaptable. At one point, I forgot to check my phone to open the garage door for her, but Whitney just rolled with it. Using the backup tools she was given, she figured it out and still got in to let the dogs out for their final visit of the day without a hitch. I was extremely pleased with her services. I only wish I could hire her every single day for a mid-day playtime outside! I will most definitely use her again if she is available, and I recommend her 100%. Thank you, Whitney, for doing such a wonderful job!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
