“Amazing!! Received pictures of Jax being in great care. I felt relieved knowing Jax was being cared for genuinely while I was at work. They communicate very well and I will definitely book with them again the future!”

“I am so thankful for Nicole! She helped my husband and I when we needed someone to let our new puppy out last minute. She was responsive and on time. We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have experience since I was a little kid taking care of various sizes of dogs, LOVE THEM! I also have worked in a veterinary clinic taking care of multiple small and big dogs of all breeds. I have experience giving medication to dogs as well. I currently have a lot of free time and would to take care and see some other dogs. I am pretty open to availability and can work most days. I have two beautiful fur babies that I take care of Lilith (Black Lab) and Navi (Pit), they get plenty of love and scratches and plenty of play time.
About: I am a 35 year old Mother of 3 beautiful children, my Husband & I rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. I personally have owned and/or fostered dogs, cats & an array of random critters my entire life! I absolutely love all animals from Reptiles & Rodents to Cats & Dogs. I currently own 3 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, 1 Holland Lop Bunny & 1 California Rex Bunny, I also rehabilitated a baby squirrel who still returns Home for dinner sometimes. I have volunteered at many animal shelters and rescues. I’m an experienced Surgical Recovery Technician for a non-profit rescue. I have plenty of experience managing groups of up to 20 dogs or more by myself. I have worked with many different temperaments and ages, I’m always up for a challenge and am prepared to work with animals of all breeds, ages and temperaments with no question that I will form a bond with them very quickly. Also, I might be able to work hours that I have not listed if it is discussed in advance! I currently work on my own schedule, I am an Independent Contractor for multiple companies. Ultimately I am free to walk your pup or pet-sit anytime because I make my own hours! I will care for every animal as if they are my own. An owner leaving can be a very confusing time for an animal and it is important that they are shown a lot of affection and constantly reminded that they are loved! I intend to make every animal’s walk/visit a happy one and care for them as I hope someone would my own. Any animal in my care should be prepared for some good exercise as well, unless otherwise specified to take it easy due to old age and whatnot. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon, God Bless!
About: Hi! My name is Vanessa. I have 2 goldens, 1 rottweiler, a calico, a bird and 4 turtles. I also feed the neighborhood strays. I'm truly an animal lover. I have a career in health care and often run through issues when I want to travel. I've used Rover myself. Why not extend the same help to others, and meet some amazing pets in my area?? I typically work M-F. I will be available some evenings and most weekends. I'm a planner and very reliable. I have my own pets who are on a regimen, so I understand the importance of needing someone reliable. I am available to let your pet out for a potty break and to feed them. I can do this a couple times a day if needed.
“Emily was amazing! This was my first time having a sitter come over to drop-in on my dog and cat while I was out of town for the weekend. Emily was so accommodating and I felt like she really went the extra mile to make sure my pets were comfortable and cared for while I was away. Knowing she was checking in on them was very reassuring!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life—both large and small, long-haired and short-haired, male and female—so I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. My experience includes daily walks, feeding routines, bathing, basic grooming, and administering medication when needed. I also have experience with cats, including feeding, litter box care, playtime, and respecting different temperaments—from very social cats to more independent or shy ones. I understand that cats often need a calm, low-pressure approach and consistency in their routine. In addition, I have mild but comfortable experience caring for small caged animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, and similar pets. I’m familiar with basic feeding, cleaning enclosures, and making sure their environment stays safe, clean, and consistent. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for multiple animals at once in a structured, high-energy environment. Outside of that, I’ve provided pet sitting for friends and family over the years, including in-home care where I followed existing routines and kept pets comfortable while their owners were away. My goal is always to treat every animal with patience and care, paying attention to their individual needs and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and looked after while you’re gone. I work a weekday job, but I have a consistent and reliable availability for pet care. I am off work at 4 PM Monday through Wednesday and available for evening drop-ins, walks, or care visits after that time. On Thursdays, I am off work after 1 PM, giving me earlier afternoon availability as well as evening flexibility. I am fully available Friday through Sunday, including daytime visits, extended care, and overnight stays depending on your pet’s needs. I’m open to both recurring weekly schedules and one-time bookings, and I do my best to accommodate advance requests when possible. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is always safety, routine, and making sure animals feel as comfortable and secure as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions exactly as provided and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and stress levels. In my own home, I have a cat and a dog, and any boarding or in-home care would be done with careful introductions and only when it’s a safe and appropriate fit for all animals involved. I keep a calm, structured environment and prioritize supervision, separation when needed, and respecting each pet’s comfort level. In a client’s home, I respect the space, keep things clean, and maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel secure in their environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are safe and doing well. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and small caged animals, and I always make sure litter boxes, enclosures, and feeding areas are kept clean, secure, and properly maintained. Safety is a top priority for me—I pay attention to doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and any behavioral notes so pets stay safe and routines stay consistent.
“We used Jade as a sitter for the first time for a weekend trip. She took the time to find all 4 cats on each visit, including the shy ones. She sent photos and updates each visit. We will definitely schedule with her again!”

“Sadie did a fantastic job caring for our cats while we were away! She sent daily updates with pictures and made sure they had fresh water, food, and a clean litter box. Highly recommend her for pet sitting!”

About: i've always had dogs in the house. I've always had at least 3 dogs in my house at a time, growing up my best memories were going on hikes with all my dogs. I've always been running and playing with dogs. I'm currently working at Liberty on the Lake. I have my availability set to 4pm to close there though i do work morning and/or night shift on weekends. in my free time i walk my dogs and take my one energetic dog on a run. I am able to take any specifically energetic dogs on runs! I just love animals and it would be a cool experience to hang out with them. I walk in the house and see if a dog comes up to me, if not i call the name of the dog. I take the dog out to go potty and for a walk. If needed i'll feed the dog.
“Owein is my go to sitter for taking care of my two pugs! He really came through in a pinch with a last minute booking the day beforehand with an unexpected need for a sitter. My dogs absolutely adore him and he always gives them such nice thorough walks. I will definitely continue to have Owein watch my pups in the future whether I am on vacation or need help with them being walked during the day. Thanks so much!”

“Amanda & Janessa were so great and went above & beyond to provide love and care to my pups while we were on vacation. They were even accommodating at such last minute and sent me updates the whole time. I will be using them in the future! Thank you both so much for caring for my babies!”

Irmo dog parents share their Rover experiences
I was incredibly anxious about using Rover for the first time. I had to be away all day on June 9th to work as a precinct clerk, and because my dad—who usually helped me with the dogs—passed away in March, I was extra stressed about leaving them. Whitney absolutely exceeded my expectations and put all my worries to rest! She went above and beyond from the very start, coming by a couple of days before her visit to meet Emma, Junior, and Target, and to get the lay of the land. Her communication was amazing, and I loved getting the photos she sent of each of my dogs throughout the day. They clearly liked her a lot! She is also incredibly adaptable. At one point, I forgot to check my phone to open the garage door for her, but Whitney just rolled with it. Using the backup tools she was given, she figured it out and still got in to let the dogs out for their final visit of the day without a hitch. I was extremely pleased with her services. I only wish I could hire her every single day for a mid-day playtime outside! I will most definitely use her again if she is available, and I recommend her 100%. Thank you, Whitney, for doing such a wonderful job!
