I am a full-time alumni manager and instructor with flexible work hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can provide visits early in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening after work.

I would also like to know if your dog or cat has any special needs or behaviors that I should account for, especially during overnight stays. Both of my own pets are anxious, so they require the door to be left open at bedtime and a lamp to remain on. I am happy to follow similar routines to help your pet feel comfortable and secure as well.
A typical day
I am centrally located near Lake Murray, so I enjoy taking walks around the lake and visiting local parks to give pets a variety of experiences. However, I also prioritize maintaining their sense of normalcy. Using their favorite toys, offering treats, and sticking closely to their routine are all important parts of my care approach.

New to Rover, but not new to pet care! I grew up with a golden retriever named Daisy and a lovable mutt named Roxie, and more recently became a cat mom to Tortellini. I am a reliable, communicative caregiver who treats every pet like my own. Whether it is a walk around Lake Murray, a game of laser tag with your cat, playtime in the backyard or sticking to your pet's routine, I will keep you updated with photos and messages while you are apart. My goal is to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for while they miss you and give you peace of mind while you miss them.

Abigail was really attentive to Luna's needs and made sure she was taken care of when I was away!
This was the first time I have ever left my two cats while on vacation and was nervous about not being with them but Abigail truly went above and beyond and took such amazing care of them. She is the sweetest and I was able to be more relaxed while out of town knowing they were safe and being taken care of! Will definitely be using her again for any future trips!!
Abigail and I have owned a cat together for 3 years now and she is a very good cat mom. She has had experience with helping with her family dog for over 8 years now as well. She is a fantastic animal lover and caretaker! Always wanting to be respectful to the animal’s nature (snuggle when they want and let them let them be if needed) and loves the nuances of understanding a new furry friend! If you book her, I am sure your animal will get the best care possible and probably make a new friend while they are at it!
Abigail is the sweetest pet sitter. She played with our sweet Daisy and was highly reliable. She has done both short term and long term care in our home! Additionally, she watered our plants and took care of getting our garbage cans in and out! I sense going the extra mile is part of her style!
