I am my friends and family go to person for pet care. I have recently relocated to my hometown of Columbia, South Carolina and can’t wait to meet your pets! I have 8 years of experience caring for dogs, 5 years caring for rodents, and 20+ years caring for cats. Animals and social work are my passions in life! I also have experience with amputee dogs, senior cats and dogs, cats and dogs needing oral medications and special diets, cats and dogs who are highly anxious, and cats and dogs who are hyper activity and need a lot of care and attention.

I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I can care for your animals in your own home by ensuring your animals are safe and well cared for. I make sure gates and doors are closed and locked when needed, I follow safety checks in the home to ensure your pets are protected. Anything that is needed for your fur babies!

Emily was great taking care of my house and cats while I was away. The house was exactly as when I left. sSo well taken care of! My cats were so non stressed they barely acknowledged my return. So obviously she took great care of them too.
I can't recommend Emily enough! I found myself in a really difficult situation when I had to let my original sitter go just a couple of hours into a weekend trip. Although Emily was already booked and couldn't house sit, she immediately stepped in and offered to do multiple drop-in visits instead. Emily is absolutely fantastic with Melanie, and I never have to worry when she's caring for her. Because Melanie is a giant breed, hot weather can be especially hard on her, and Emily is always mindful of that. She pays close attention during walks, stays extra when she can, and makes sure Melanie has time to cool down before going back into her crate. I've booked with Emily multiple times, and I'll continue to do so. She's reliable, communicative, and truly cares about the dogs she watches. She understands that Melanie may be a big girl, but she's really just a baby in a giant body, and she treats her with all the patience, love, and attention she deserves. I couldn't ask for a better sitter!
