“We honestly can’t say enough good things about Gabrielle! She’s patient, kind, and just “gets” them in a way that puts us completely at ease. She’s always on time, super consistent, and quick to respond. Our dogs adore her, and so do we!”

“Jade was wonderful with my shy girl. I really appreciated the tracking of visits and photos. She surprised me with a couple of selfie's with her which is huge. Definitely recommend her!”

About: I currently have 2 kittens and i had a dog for about 10 years so i love all kinds of animals and have experience with both cats and dogs :) I work full time, mostly early morning shifts so i’d be able to stop by and spend the night and make sure they’re taken care of. I am usually off Thursdays and Sundays and would be able to do more on those days. I will do whatever my client wishes, since i am not able to house any animals in my house; I will follow the rules for your particular household.

“Hannah was stellar! I had a somewhat last minute request and she was able to fit me into her schedule and still found time to do a meet and great. Her visit cards were thorough and thoughtful. I would definitely rebook.”

“Samantha did a great job taking care of our pups! She communicated and let us know how they were doing and we loved getting her pictures of them. We would definitely reach out to Samantha again!”

About: Love living in the area, I have always enjoyed spending time outside in all seasons. On any kind of day, I would love to give your family member a walk/run in the neighborhood or at a nearby park/path or whichever they prefer to get some fresh year and exploration through the smells/sights. For the playful pup, I love to run around and play with them until the sun goes down. I have experienced many years with easy and difficult dogs as being a pet owner myself, finding love and care for all creatures all life from dogs all the way to my 3-year-old goldfish. I can not wait to meet your furry family member and give them all the pets and love they fully deserve!
“We needed a last minute sitter for our cat for a long weekend away. We were so happy Shannon was available to spend time with him and flexible around our travel plans. She was an excellent communicator and kept us up to date on her visits despite some tech issues with the Rover app. We so appreciated her notes and photos and loved hearing/seeing how much our cat enjoyed her attention!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and began pet sitting for neighbors and family friends around the age of 10. I’ve had a dog of my own for about 6 years now who gets along very well with other dogs and cats. Happy to care for pets of any age and willing to administer medications or provide other special needs to pets if needed. I have a lot of free time in the next couple of months as I am waiting to start a job a few months from now. I will have plenty of time to drop in to check on pets, regular walks, and boarding! I have a very friendly dog that gets along well with cats and dogs alike. I am happy to welcome your pet into my home or come to your home to care for your fur babies too.

About: I have over three years of hands‑on experience caring for animals through rescue work, fostering, and running my own small home‑based refuge. I’m also a Certified Veterinary Assistant, which means I’m trained in safe handling, medication administration, senior care, and recognizing early signs of stress or illness.I’ve cared for pets of all ages and needs — from confident, easygoing dogs to shy, anxious, reactive, or medically fragile animals. I’m extremely patient and calm, and I always tailor my approach to each pet’s personality. What sets me apart is the level of experience I bring from rescue work. I’m used to managing routines, enrichment, special diets, mobility support, and behavior quirks. I treat every pet like an individual and make sure they feel safe, understood, and comfortable.Whether your pet needs slow introductions, extra reassurance, structured walks, or a gentle, steady presence, I’m confident and experienced in providing the kind of care that helps them relax and enjoy their time with me. Pet care is already a built‑in part of my daily life. I run a small home‑based animal rescue and I’m a certified veterinary assistant, so caring for animals is part of my morning and evening routine every single day.I’m used to structured schedules, medication timing, feeding routines, enrichment, and making sure every animal gets the attention they need. Because I’m already out and about with my own dogs, adding walks or drop‑in visits fits naturally into my day.Whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check‑in, or an evening visit, I’m consistent, reliable, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. Safety is always my first priority. As a certified veterinary assistant and the founder of a small home‑based rescue, I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly — feeding, medications, potty breaks, crate time, and any house rules you have in place. I always double‑check doors, gates, and locks, and I never take risks with safety. For walks, I use secure leashing, avoid unsafe areas, and pay close attention to body language and surroundings. I don’t allow off‑leash time unless it’s in a fully fenced yard with your permission. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, calm, and understood while keeping your home secure and respected. You can trust that I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give to the animals in my rescue.

“Lexyy went above and beyond what I could’ve asked for in a pet sitter. She was super flexible and accommodating to my needs and knew exactly what questions to ask when it came to taking care of my cat. She was very consistent with her care and from picture reviews, she seemed to keep my kitty very content!! Will definitely be booking again”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up with pets and have personally raised four dogs from puppies into adulthood, along with caring for a cat of my own. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for bunnies, birds, and even pigs. Friends and family regularly trust me to watch, feed, walk, and care for their pets while they’re away, so I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable, and I always treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Right now, I’m only taking summer classes from 10 AM–1 PM during weekdays, which gives me plenty of time throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and quality care. I’m available most afternoons and evenings during the week and can provide pets with lots of attention and companionship. My weekend availability may vary, but I always keep my schedule updated and communicate clearly about availability. I currently provide pet care in clients’ homes only, as I live in an apartment and have dogs of my own. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets feel safe, cared for, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific needs each pet may have. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while maintaining a clean and safe environment. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and home, and I always treat both with respect and care.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. I volunteer at the animal shelter where I have participated in their doggy day out programs as well as have fostered animals in my home. In fact, my current dog (who loves all animals) was a foster fail and I ended up adopting her from the shelter. I am pet safe as I have a dog harness in my backseat so I can easily transport all dogs to go on exciting walks. I am also very active and strong person so I can lift the animals if necessary. I have the time and ability to take on new clients and their fur babies. I am happy to get up early or stay out late to give your animal the care they need when they need it. I primarily would love to take your dog for a walk/run and get them as much exercise as they (and you as their parent) desire. I also would love to come and sit and play with your cats or simply clean their litter box while you are away. Overall, I’m happy to just help keep your animals healthy and happy while you are away! My dog is crate trained. She is house trained. I have a fenced in back yard that is relatively big and has been treated for bugs so my dog, as well as other dogs can play outside and stay safe. I readily keep water and food available for the animals. I also have a dog safety harness in the back seat of my car to keep all my animals safe while traveling.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old for friends, neighbors, and family members. I am comfortable will all dog breeds and ages, and have experience with many different types of dogs. I have previously worked for a small pet sitting/dog walking business as both a pet sitter/walker and office manager. I, myself, have an older German Shepard that needs frequent play time and takes medicine daily; I am very comfortable administering medicine to dogs. I am currently taking online college classes to obtain my bachelor's in Kinesiology. I do have a job as a personal trainer/group instructor and admin for a small gym in the area. I am available early mornings before 8am and afternoons after 1pm. I have experience in homes with and without fences, with dogs who are and are not crate trained and very comfortable, and experienced, with calm and excited dogs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cayce
Caroline has been great with our puppy! We have used her regularly the past couple of weeks on days my husband and I both work. She has been reliable and consistent, sends us photos and takes time to engage in playtime. She responds quickly to our messages and has been flexible with bookings. We would definitely recommend her!

Brynlee did a great job! Our dog can be very shy and worried of new people, but he seemed comfortable with her from their first visit and quickly warmed up at each additional. She was punctual and spent the proper time with him each day, and sent pictures of our pup, which I love! She was even able to add an extra session day, due to my travel plans changing unexpectedly. I would definitely feel comfortable to book Brynlee again for drop-in visits!

Shannon was very communicative and detailed throughout each visit. She was very timely to each visit and if for any reason she was running late, she reached out to inform me. She kept me updated throughly and we felt more comfortable knowing exactly what our dogs were doing through her communication which allowed us to relax and enjoy our getaway trip. She will definitely be our first pick when we have our next trip. Thank you again Shannon 💞

Madison was absolutely amazing with our dog, Sedona! She was so gentle, kind, and communicative, which made us feel completely at ease. Sedona took to her immediately and clearly loved her. It’s such a relief finding someone you can truly trust with your pet. We loved Madison and will 10000% be booking with her again whenever we need care for Sedona! 🐾

I've done a couple drop in visits with Maddie and she is outstanding with my dogs! One of the little guys has a mean streak but she is doing great with him and he's doing good with her. I have some trips planned in the future and as long as she is available I plan to continue booking Maddie!

Jill is amazing!! She checked in on Gus for us twice during the day and he loved her so much! She updated us in a timely manner and was great at communicating. We loved seeing his report cards and knowing our dog was being well cared for. We highly recommend Jill and would book with her again!

Rybecca was a fantastic caregiver for our pets! Our three cats and elderly pup connected with her right away and were all looking great when I returned after a week away. I appreciate Rybecca's dependability and thorough communication about what was going on with the animals. I would definitely recommend her!

AIKO IS WONDERFUL!!! Aiko went above and beyond our expectations. She is professional and thorough. She did a great job taking care of our furry family members. She also stepped up and did additional work when others did not fulfill their work obligations with watering plants and taking care of other outdoor chores. She was great with communicating with us while we vacationed. Peace of mind is priceless when you are away from home and Aiko delivered. We look forward to hiring Aiko again in the future and hope she will continue to work with us. There is a reason Aiko has so many repeat customers. She is a gem. Thank you Aiko for taking such good care of Franklin and Piper.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Cayce stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cayce choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Cayce with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
