Safety, trust & environment
I know that allowing someone into your home can take an immense amount of trust. I make it a habit to care for someone's home and pets like they are my own and will be sure to follow any directions or preferences you provide. I will also only walk dogs with leashes, preferably not retractable ones. If you would like me to use an e-collar with your dog, I recommend finding someone else as I usually will opt not to use one if given. I require a meet-and-greet before booking ALWAYS. This benefits both me and you so we can determine if it is a good fit! Note that a meet and greet does not guarantee a booking is confirmed. I will decide this after our meet and greet, so please plan accordingly.
Information Nicole C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about your pet's behavior habits or if they have any special needs to be attended to. Also let me know how your pet behaves when left alone with new people. I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If your pet takes medication, please let me know ahead of time. I also recommend scheduling a meet and greet for when they usually take it so I can see how to administer it.
A typical day
I love going for scenic walks with your dog, and giving your cats and dogs lots of pets, cuddles, and some love on my drop-ins! I usually let pets warm up to me first to determine their comfort levels. I also will be sure to stick to your pet’s schedule and routine.

PhD student & animal cuddler!
Pet care experience
I'm currently a PhD student pet sitting on the side! I've been pet sitting through Rover for about a year now and have had animals my entire life, including cats and dogs. I currently have a 4 year old short Jack Russell who is my entire world! Through him, I've learned how to care for animals with dietary and exercise restrictions, as he’s prone to IVDD episodes so I’ve had to learn how to provide frequent and attentive care for him. I really love caring for cats as well and am always looking after my family and friend's! I offer two services for your pet care needs: drop-in visits and dog walking. Drop-ins: Best suited for cats and lower energy dogs. During drop-ins I can scoop litter boxes, give your pets their required food & medications, take dogs out for a quick potty break, and give them plenty of play and cuddles! Dog Walking: Best suited for higher energy dogs where a walk will take up more than half of the visit!

Reviews

Our pets were happy and well taken care of! Nicole sent great photos and was also very timely :)

Nicole was absolutely amazing this weekend with our orange tabby boy. She checked on him twice a day, stayed for the full 30 minutes, and provided the best updates and pictures with each visit. I get so sad and anxious leaving my fur baby, but definitely felt relief each time she checked on him. She was the best, and we will definitely use her again! -Abbey

She’s soooo dependable and trustworthy. I would recommend Nicole to anyone looking for loving care of their dog

Nicole is the best! She is so patient with my shy girl and really encourages my boy to eat most of his food while she’s visiting (he’s a grazer) and we are so so thankful for her ability to fit us in when we ask last minute!
