PhD student & animal cuddler!
I'm currently a PhD student pet sitting on the side! I've been pet sitting through Rover for about two years now and have had animals my entire life, including cats and dogs. I currently have a 5 year old short Jack Russell who is my entire world! Through him, I've learned how to care for animals with dietary and exercise restrictions, as he’s prone to IVDD episodes so I’ve had to learn how to provide frequent and attentive care for him. I really love caring for cats as well and am always looking after my family and friend's! I offer two services for your pet care needs: drop-in visits and dog walking. Drop-ins: Best suited for cats and lower energy dogs. During drop-ins I can scoop litter boxes, give your pets their required food & medications, take dogs out for a quick potty break, and give them plenty of play and cuddles! Dog Walking: Best suited for higher energy dogs where a walk will take up more than half of the visit!

I know that allowing someone into your home can take an immense amount of trust. I make it a habit to care for someone's home and pets like they are my own and will be sure to follow any directions or preferences you provide. I will also only walk dogs with leashes, preferably not retractable ones. If you would like me to use an e-collar with your dog, I recommend finding someone else as I usually will opt not to use one if given. I require a meet-and-greet before booking ALWAYS. This benefits both me and you so we can determine if it is a good fit! Note that a meet and greet does not guarantee a booking is confirmed. I will decide this after our meet and greet, so please plan accordingly.

- Let me know about your pet's behavior habits or if they have any special needs to be attended to. Also let me know how your pet behaves when left alone with new people. I want to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If your pet takes medication, please let me know ahead of time. I also recommend scheduling a meet and greet for when they usually take it so I can see how to administer it.
