“Katie was amazing with our two crazy dogs! She was kind and respectful to our house and our routine. She cleaned up an accident for us and she came over to meet the dogs prior to the drop ins, which is super important! I would love to use Katie again in the future and I highly recommend her!”

“Alexis was amazing. Our dog has huge anxiety and can be freaked out when meeting people. He took to Alexis right away when she came to meet him. He was even sad when she left. Our cat is known to hide out but she even made a few appearances when Alexis checked in on them.”

“Emily was absolutely amazing. My puppies loved her! She played with them, walked them and even bathed them. Instead of finding traumatised puppies when I returned home, I came home to happy puppies who smelled like blueberries! Thank you Emily!!!!”

“thank you so much for taking such amazing care of my little girl!! she must have really loved your energy to be so sweet and snuggly with you, that says a lot! 💕 i appreciate you so much!!”

“We are so thankful for the wonderful care our dog, Rudy, and guinea pigs received from Kade! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our pets were well cared for and happy while we were away. Communication was excellent. He gave Rudy lots of attention at each of his drop-ins with walks, playing with toys, etc. He was also attentive to our guinea pigs. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Aleksandra went above and beyond taking care of my two cats for a week at the last minute after my prior coverage fell through. I highly recommend her and she will be the first I ask should I need someone to watch them again.”

“Gracie is and has always been amazing in taking care of my fur baby Nala! Mind you Nala is a puppy! Not only does she help with the little things like training, etc. but her communication skills are top notch!”

“My dogs adore Alyssa. She has a special way of connecting with all animals. I don’t worry when I leave them in her care because I know they are not going to be stressed and are well cared for along with getting some extra scratches and kisses. I also know that if any problem comes up, with all of her experience, she will handle it. I feel lucky to have her help!”

“Sami did a great job caring for our two cats while we were gone for a week. She kept in frequent communication with me (which I really appreciated cause I can be kind of needy, lol), and the cats were happy when we got home. She got our mail too! Thanks, Sami!”
“Molly did great taking care of our cat and house. She sat patiently waiting for our cat to come see her (which most previous cat sitters have not done) and went and looked for her when she didn’t come out. Our cat was much less lonely when we got home this trip.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little, I am always willing to help our friends or neighbors with their dogs! I enjoy being able to help and take care of the dogs. I am home for the summer from college, I will be taking one college course online but looking for something flexible. Being able to work around my course will be easy and flexible. I have a fenced in backyard with a dog friendly dog. I can easily crate the dog if needed and or keep the dogs separated if necessary.
“Sam was wonderful! She arrived on time and texted us to let us know her ETA. Our two babies are slow to warm up to new people, but Sam was great with them. She was very engaged and asked questions that clearly indicated how focused she was on learning about our babies. We were surprised at how quickly our two little ones acclimated to Sam. I highly recommend her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Hopkins with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
