I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. “Assatta was amazing!! She kept me informed with daily texts, pictures and videos of how Joonie was doing each day. She has a dog already and it was great to see that my dog meshed well with hers. It was clear from the updates she sent each day that our dogs became “besties” instantly. I am thoroughly pleased with the care that Assatta provided for Joonie. She informed me that she would be willing to watch my dog anytime and I certainly plan on using her again in the future. It was clear that Joonie had the time of his life in Assatta’s care, he came home and instantly went to sleep because he was worn out from having so much fun. Thank you so much Assatta for treating him like your own! ☺️”

“Hannah took care of two cats of mine. They went to her right away when she came for meet and greet. I was worried about them anxious and losing weight but no they are fat as always!!! She also notified me when the AC unit was leaking and sprayed for gnats! She even drop off the key when she didn’t have to stop by. I highly recommend her as a trusted cat sitter! I’m asking her to take care of my boys when I’m away again.”

“Nicole was very communicative and descriptive, which put my mind at ease while we were out of town! My cat loved her and I appreciate that she was able to administer his medicine and gave him extra snuggles and pets. She is the best and we look forward to booking her again.”

“moe was great with my two cats! One of them seemed comfortable right away, but the other had a harder time adjusting (was not eating at first) and moe did a great job making her feel more comfortable with time.”

“Kayla was amazing! She took excellent care of my cat, Lucy, while I was gone. She took a lot of pictures and let me know how Lucy was doing every day. I will definitely be using her next time I leave town.”

“Isaiah is such a blessing. Isaiah was quick and easy to communicate with. (ProTip: message from the Rover app directly, not the SMS text that you get from Rover.) Isaiah quickly made a plan to come over and meet my 3 Maine Coon Cats. He asked all of the right questions, things I didn't even think of. We made a plan for next month, but when a last minute weekend trip came up, Isaiah was right there for us. He sent Great Pics of our kitties and I could tell they were very comfortable with him. When we've left the kitties all alone for 48 hours once before, it took days for them to relax into their regular personalities after we returned. Not the case when Isaiah cared for them. They were chill and happy, as usual. I know that he cared for them and gave them lots of pets and brushes. Isaiah is a Top Notch and Trustworthy Caregiver.”

“My now-husband and I had to go out of town to get married and this was the first time that we had to rely on someone that we weren't close with to watch our kitties. It was imperative that we found someone that would make an effort to get them to warm up to them and that's exactly what Emma did. She was very communicative, always gave our kitties treats and really made an effort with them. It paid off, because even though they were super shy at the beginning of her time with them and hiding in closets, by her last drop in, they were coming out and allowing for her to pet them. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and really put us at ease. We will be using her again in the future!! 10/10!!”

“Jeffery was so great with my four cats! He made sure to send me updates and pictures every day while I was out of town for thanksgiving. They loved snuggling him and he took great care of my older baby who needed daily meds. Prompt and communicative and very sweet soul!”

“Molly was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of my cat, Nacho, while I was away! She sent me pictures daily which was so nice 😊 Would definitely have her watch Nacho again!”

“I had a wonderful experience! Gracie is amazing, my cats were cared for with so much love, patience, and professionalism. I received updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter”

“Sydney was so great with our cat! This was our first time leaving our cat for an extended period of time, and Sydney always sent photos with each visit and let us know how our cat was doing. Sydney was also super flexible with us too. If we ever needed a cat sitter again, I would want to book Sydney again!”

“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“Nicole and Telly are AMAZING!!!! They have helped me and my dogs through an incredibly stressful transition moving across country. They treat my dogs like part of the family! My girls look forward to spending their day with them and their dog Apollo. The dogs wrestle together, bask in the sunshine, roll in the yard and go on long walks. When I pick them up they are POOPED and sleep the whole 20 min back to the Airbnb that we are currently staying in. This is so helpful for one of my dogs who has massive anxiety issues, because she’s too tired to stress about all of the changes we’re going through. Nicole, Telly and their kids truly love animals and are fabulous caregivers! I feel so fortunate to have found them!🙏🏻”

“Easy to communicate with! Qais responded immediately at the last minute for us as we needed a dog sitter for a couple hours while we were passing through. Archer had a great time!”

I know that might not be much but that’s a huge accomplishment in my book with him. Will definitely be using Megan again in the future! Thank you!”

“Omgosh! Michelle was our hero the weekend of my nephews wedding! Newly relocated to the Charleston area, we knew no one to watch our pup while we went to Savannah for the wedding. We found Michelle in Savannah, and she was wonderful!! So sweet and loving to our 10year old poodle bichon, and he seemed to be comfortable with her and her place right away. If you're looking for the perfect dog sitter, look no further, Michelle is your gal.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — caring for them isn’t just something I do, it’s something I love. I’ve shared my life with so many kinds of creatures over the years: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, and even a bearded dragon. Each one has taught me something about presence, trust, and unconditional love. I have a calm, confident energy that helps animals feel safe and seen. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, and those who need medication or special care. I’ve been doing this for over twenty years, and I bring both deep experience and genuine heart to every animal I meet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy daycare — everything except overnight stays in my home. Whether your pet needs a peaceful companion, an attentive caregiver, or someone who simply gets them, I’ll show up with gentleness, reliability, and real love. As a stay-at-home potter, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent, loving care. I can provide morning and afternoon visits for walks, meals, and play, as well as in-home care during longer stretches while I manage my creative work. Weekends or flexible blocks allow for longer walks, extra playtime, or special needs care. My schedule lets me meet pets’ needs while keeping a calm, attentive presence. I know what it’s like to love your pets like family — I’ve had animals in my life my whole life, and I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with them. That’s why I bring calm, confident energy and treat every pet as if they were my own. I love caring for pets right in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. Being in a familiar space helps them stay relaxed, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages — from playful puppies to seniors — and with pets who need medication or special care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. I also keep your home cared for, so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.

“Charlotte is one of the most professional dog sitters that I have encountered using Rover for the past year. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.

“Qais did a wonderful job watching our pups! He was quick to respond, took frequent videos and was attentive to the special instructions we left him. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be returning if we ever need doggie daycare again!”

“Gina was so great with our dog Daisy! We have never used a dog sitter before and were very nervous, especially since Daisy has a lot of anxiety. Gina was so patient and easy to talk to and she send us pictures and updates daily! We will definitely use her again on our next vacation! 😁”

“Chad was absolutely wonderful and Beatrice had the best time with him and his family. He took great care of her and sent regular updates on how she was going and how she was settling in. Definitely recommend!”

“This is the second time we’ve used Merrell for our English Cocker while we were visiting family in Columbia. Our dog loves her and ran right up to her when we dropped him off. We got plenty of pictures and updates for his stay. Highly recommend Merrell.”

“Kristin was really helpful and patient when I needed a last minute booking. She sent updates and adorable pictures. Potato Chip got lots of attention and I was able to travel without worry knowing everything was going smoothly!”
