About: I am very experienced in taking care of and managing many different types of animals. I’ve personally owned a Chow, a Cocker Spaniel, and have owned 4 Yorkies. I now own 2 pit bulls my girl Destiny and my boy Bentley. Destiny is very kind, trained, and has never been aggressive towards any other animal or person and same with Bentley as well. We love being outside and taking a lap around the neighborhood or taking a hike through the woods. I love animals and look forward to working with you and your pets! My animals eat once in the morning and once in the afternoon, I typically feed them 12 hours apart, so whatever time I feed them in the morning goes around the same time I feed them in the afternoon I typically let them out in the morning after they eat, and depending on the weather, I’ll let them stay out in the back for a while I have a fenced in backyard so they all can play together and when I leave, I typically will either crate whoever is visiting and put my animals in my room or leave them outside there’s never any unsupervised contact
“Aiko did a great job with Brock she was very patient and understanding with him even when he had an accident when he first arrived .I would definitely recommend Aiko and I hope to have her as a sitter again.”

“Whitney did an incredible job! My dog came home super happy, extremely clean (not an eye booger in sight!), and I could tell she was well-loved by everyone in her family. <3”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
“Jianna was amazing. My dog was happy, I really appreciate her patience and understanding. We had a rough time finding a sitter thru this app, but Gianna came thru! My dog was well taken care of. I even caught walking down the steps!(which she never does do to her leg) but she came down so happy and playful. Thank you so much Jianna”

“Glenn was able to accommodate me quickly after my former dog sitter became ill. Finding Glenn was a complete blessing! He is knowledgeable, accommodating and my dogs took right to him. I have one who can be standoffish and he immediately went to Glenn with a wagging tail. Glenn sent numerous pictures and updates. I was completely comfortable leaving my babies with him. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend!”

“Andrew was awesome with our golden retriever and his dog, Bianca, is a sweetie! There were lots of toys to play with and close to the trails in the Harbison State Forest - great location!”

About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and training my parents’ labradoodle since she was a puppy, helping with basic obedience, routines, and positive reinforcement. I’m comfortable working with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need, as well as providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. Animals are truly my passion — I treat every pet as if they were my own, with love, patience, and respect. We truly don’t deserve the unconditional love animals give us, and I’m committed to giving that same love and care back to them. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work as a radiology tech Monday through Thursday from 8–5 and Fridays from 8–12, which allows me to provide evening care after 5 on weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends, making weekend boarding a great fit for me. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy in my free time, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I provide loving, attentive care whether pets are staying in my home or in their own. When boarding or feeding pets in my home, they’ll have access to a nearby dog park and a walking trail for regular exercise, play, and enrichment. I maintain routines for feeding, walks, and potty breaks to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely to ensure pets feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. I always prioritize cleanliness, safety, and plenty of affection, treating every pet as if they were my own.

Gina sent me updates daily with pictures and descriptions and she was genuinely excited to br caring for Dugan. Dugan was happy when I picked him up! He was socialized with another lovely pup, is tired and has slept most of today! I highly recommend her services!

Jianna did an outstanding job caring for Khase while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Throughout Khase’s stay, she kept us updated and gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. When we returned, Khase was happy, well cared for, and comfortable. He did not want to leave her & her family..lol. It was obvious that Jianna treated him like part of her own family. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Shannon was an absolutely great host for our Chiweenie Biscuit. It was our first time using a service like this and it was Biscuit's first trip from home in his 2 yrs. Shannon was very comforting when she met us and put us at ease with updates and photos. She has the perfect spot for her animals inside and outside. Biscuit made 1 new human friend and 2 new dog friends. Thank you so much Shannon, you made this experience easy and stress free. We will definitely use your services again on our next trip that Biscuit can't go on.

We highly recommend Melanie and Addison. Our Fozzie and Winton were in such great hands with them, and we loved receiving pictures while we were away. They were easy to communicate with, quickly responsive, house was very clean, and from the pictures they sent I could see our fur babies were happy. Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies while we were away!

We’re so grateful and would absolutely book again!

Jessica was wonderful! She is SO friendly and accommodated our pup really well. She kept us updated with photos and texts so we could stay in the loop from far away. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
