“Zolah had an amazing time. This is my second time leaving Zolah in this household And I have no complaints. I felt comfortable the whole time, they sent pictures and videos while I was gone so I could see how she was doing, And I had a last minute schedule oops and she was super understanding and worked with me. I can honestly say I don't like to leave my girl, but anytime I do need to leave her it will be with Niagara and/or Patrice. Definitely recommend!”

“Michael did a great job caring for Boots. He was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates while boarding him for the few days I was in town. Michael also was flexible and able to watch Boots an additional night when my apartment hunting took longer than expected. I will definitely be contacting Michael for my future dog care needs when I relocate to the area!”

“Celia is absolutely amazing. Our dog almost didn't want to leave after staying with her for a long weekend. She provided pictures and updates multiple times throughout the day. Will definitely use her again as she has truly set the bar for dog sitters!”

“Amazing experience, extremely communicative and easy to work with could not have asked for a better sitter. My dogs were very happy upon pick up and my dogs love playing with her puppy.”

“When I say she is a great dog sitter, I really mean it! She is a great dog sitter! She sent regular photos and updates throughout my dog’s stay. She loves animals and has a wonderful demeanor, spirit, and personality. I highly recommend her for any dog services that she offers.”

“Assatta H, was an excellent host and my little Uno truly enjoyed herself. Assatta was able to provide Sitter Services at short notice due to an immediate need on my part and I am forever indebted. Assatta even sent me photos of my Uno enjoying herself throughout her stay. I strongly encourage you to consider Assatta’s services!”

“Lucas was so welcoming and flexible with our plans changing last minute at both drop off and pickup. He was amazing with the dogs and we got so many photos and updates. It was clear he loves what he does and the dogs know it!! Would definitely book with him again next time I’m in town!”

“Glenn was AMAZING! I was never worried about my dogs while Glenn cared for them. I got pictures and updates daily. My dogs loved staying with Glenn and I could tell that he enjoyed them also. I will definitely be booking with him again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
“Jeanne was a great sitter and took good care of my dog while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and made the whole process easy. I’d be happy to book with her again and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Katelyn was so great! She accepted my booking last-minute, was patient and flexible with me regarding my schedule. She went above and beyond to reassure me my Chug was well cared for and having a good time. Thank you so much, Katelyn!!”

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Zac took great care of Beau, our GSP, while we were out of town. Beau clearly had a great time while he was there and I’m sure it was all due to the great big yard to run around in and other dog friends to play with. Will definitely use Zac’s services again in the future.”

“Needed a last minute sitter for Nova and Evelyn was great. Sent me updates and pictures. Nova really enjoyed her stay and was living her little best life. Would definitely recommend!”

“Alexandria is so kind, gentle, and thorough! You can truly tell she takes care of the animals like they are her own. She wants to make sure they are comfortable and stick to their routines as much as possible. Rocky definitely enjoyed his time with her!”

Bokyung is truly one of the most responsible and caring sitters I’ve ever met!🌷🌷❤️❤️ Dun Dun is a very high-energy puppy who needs a lot of interaction, playtime, and attention, and Bokyung did an amazing job meeting all of her needs.❤️ She was incredibly patient, attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs! Dun Dun was happy, well cared for, and clearly had a great time. I really appreciated the updates lovely photos and videos and how thoughtful Bokyung was throughout the stay. Her mini Aussie, Bean, is also absolutely adorable! very friendly and sweet and Dun Dun got along wonderfully with her. It was such a relief knowing Dun Dun was in such a loving and engaging environment. I would highly recommend Bokyung to anyone! We would absolutely love to book with her again!

Patricia is an excellent care taker! Buster was so happy being with her. She gave lots of great updates and little videos. The pictures she sent showed us that he was as comfortable at her house as he is at home. Buster is a little more needy with his care because he is a senior dog now. Patricia had no problem feeding him by hand to help him. I highly recommend using Patricia for your boarding needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
