“Nikki and Moxie are fantastic hosts! Chloe starts to get excited as soon as we break out her travel bag, and loves her time with them. Nikki is great with communication and flexibility- both really appreciated!”

“Savannah and Chandler took great care of our dog! They were flexible with drop off and pick up times and easy to communicate with. We got lots of pictures of Kane and he looked happy and comfortable. Would highly recommend!”

“Earlewood & Polly had a very good stay. Thank you for your patients with my two shy dogs. They are both tuckered out. We have scheduled their next visit! Very glad to know they were in such good hands. ”
“Niagara was the absolute best!!! I wish I could give her more than five stars for her services that were provided, because she deserves them all. Our little Dorkie Bella stayed with her for six days while we went on vacation. I was very hesitant at fist about leaving her so far behind. This was our absolute first time ever leaving Bella with anyone since the day we picked her up from the breeder. We received so many videos and pictures of Bella. It made me feel so much better. I highly recommend Niagara for your pet needs! Thank you once again for everything ❤️”

“Shannon was wonderful with our newly adopted dog. She was quick to respond to texts, kept us updated regularly, and was incredibly patient with him as he adjusted. Since he recently came from foster care, earning his trust is important, and Shannon was so gentle and understanding with him. We truly appreciated the care and kindness she showed and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Adia was very loving and accommodating for our nervous pup. We also really appreciated her willingness to work with us when plans changed during the trip. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

“We have used several Rover sitters and had good results with all of them but Becky is a step above. We had to go out of state over Thanksgiving and our pup was going to need more attention than normal as she was having back surgery on Tuesday after we returned. Becky was the only sitter that I would trust to take care of Max and would have stayed home with Max if she had not been available. Highly recommend Becky,”

“Katheryn was amazing! She went above and beyond for our two girls: sending photos, having play time, and even bought them treats and toys. We will definitely be trusting her with our fur babies again.”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have experience caring for family pets on a daily basis. Through feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and companionship, I’ve learned how to understand dogs’ needs and make them feel comfortable and safe. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends dogs on multiple occasions. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to treating every pet with the same care and patience I give my own dogs. I’m currently a college student with a part-time job, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. When I’m not in class or at work, I’m usually home and available for walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting. I’ll always communicate my availability and make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them plenty of attention. I grew up with dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for them and know that every pet is different. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: Hello, I'm Logan S. and I would love to be your dog’s next sitter! I know how important it is to feel confident your dog is being taken care of while you're away from home as I have my own. While you're away I'll send pictures and text updates so you know how your dog is doing. I have experience in all different breeds and am very confident in my ability to care for yours. There’s two people and a dog in the house, he’s a one year old golden retriever who loves to play and meet new friends. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to meeting your furry friend! There’s usually two days out of the week where nobody will be home during the afternoon as I will be at work. If this affects your dogs stay I will let you know ahead of time if it’s okay. Each pet has individual needs that I am able to provide. Ensuring the animals safety is top priority and I have experience with very young animals and older ones as well. To help in this let me know of any special concerns or circumstances I need to know.
“Our dog had a blast at Evelyn’s. He got lots of exercise, which he loves, and he ate well (which is always a good sign that he was happy). We got daily updates and couldn’t be happier with his care at Evelyn’s. Thank you!!”

“Isabela was amazing with our yorki. She sent regular updates with pictures and was quick to respond whenever I reached out!! We will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you so much for treating our dog like it was your own :)”

“Took great care of my 2 doggies and kitty while we were away for a long weekend trip. All my animals were happy upon arrival. I can always tell if they have had a good time or have had anxiety and they were all in good graces. Great experience and will be using Tabitha again! Thank you!”

“Thanks to Gina my rambunctious 10 month old puppy was safe & happy while I visited with lifelong friends & attended the funeral of another lifelong friend. Gina sent pictures & assurances of my puppy’s wellbeing & that he was “no trouble”, a welcome fib. I didn’t know such a service existed but am very glad Rover led me to Gina.”

“Alexandria is so kind, gentle, and thorough! You can truly tell she takes care of the animals like they are her own. She wants to make sure they are comfortable and stick to their routines as much as possible. Rocky definitely enjoyed his time with her!”

“Sebastian is the absolute best! I would give him 10 stars if I could. He was responsive from booking til pick-up. He consistently updated me and sent many pictures of my baby, Caesar. Caesar has daily topical medicine that must be administered and Sebastian had no problem applying it for me. I truly believe Caesar felt like he was at home while in Sebastian’s care. I will absolutely be using his services again.”

“Eileen was great! Provided video and photo updates the entire time to let me know how Sully was doing which I was very appreciative. Would definitely use her again for any pet sitting!”

Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Nikki was great, she took our couch tiger for walks and sent pictures daily. She seems very capable of taking great care of the 4 legged loved ones. We would seek to have her keep our pup in the future if the need arises. Thanks, for a much better environment than a boarding kennel.
Madison did an amazing job with my dog Goose! He is very shy and has a hard time meeting new people, but he warmed up to her very quickly. She sent plenty of video and picture updates while I was away. She made sure Goose was comfortable in her home and I will definitely board with her in the future!

Kristin kept us updated while our fur baby stayed with her for 4 days. We usually bring our baby with us everywhere, but we couldn't on this trip. I was very nervous about leaving her with someone new but she did so good. We are moving soon but if we need Kristin before then we will definitely have her watch our baby again!!

Elizabeth is amazing!! She loves on your puppy as if it was her own. Our Bella had the best time with Elizabeth. She sent us several pics each day and updates on her eating and activity. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our Bella and we had such peace of mind knowing she was in the greatest of care while we were away.

Katelyn and her family were WONDERFUL! Her toddler was so gentle with Scout & Sadie and they loved her. Katelyn spoiled my babies with lots of play time outside and petting. I loved getting photo and video updates from her. She has a big, safe backyard for playing and she was so kind and gentle with them. We will DEFINITELY use Katelyn in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
