About: I have had a dog (childhood puppy at home) my whole life and she is my best friend! I have fostered multiple puppies, some who aren’t potty trained, and have experience overnight sitting. My roommates also love to have furry friends around! I am a full time graduate student with a part time job, but will be home a lot and love to get exercise walking. I also have 5 other roommates who would be happy to help out if I am busy with class. I have a front patio for quality outside time, but it is not fenced. I will be outside with your pet whenever we hang out on the patio, otherwise we will be inside.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and every family pet I have had has truly been my best friend. They bring a level of comfort and unconditional love that is impossible to match, which is why caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I am currently a graduate student, and throughout high school and undergrad, I volunteered weekly at local animal shelters, gaining hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and needs. Back home in Virginia, I have also been pet-sitting for neighbors and friends for the past 10 years, from quick check-ins and walks to overnight stays. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens who need patience and training, as well as senior dogs and cats who require medication and special diets. No matter the pet, I always make it my priority to ensure they feel safe, loved and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently out of school for the summer and working part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. This allows me to accommodate a variety of drop-in visit and walking times, including mornings, afternoons evenings, and weekends. I love being active and spending time with dogs and cats, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine! I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and safe with someone new, so I always prioritize building trust and letting the dog and/or cat get to know me on their own time. I am more than happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure both the pet and the owner feel comfortable and confident. During drop-in visits and walks, it is my priority to follow each pet's routine as closely as possible and adapt to their own unique personality. I know how important safety is, so I will always make sure pets are secure on walks and closely supervised during visits. I also believe communication is key, so I will be sure to send all owners updates and photos for peace of mind while they are away.

She had mentioned to me at the meet and greet that this was her busiest Christmas week yet with a lot of bookings. I have worked in retail for a few years now and Christmas week can be so overwhelming, especially with now that I travel for family while having pets at home. I am so appreciative that she was able to show them care and attention even with one of the craziest weeks of the year. I had booked her in advance but even then I was worried and anxious about this. My job had me scheduled christmas eve, and then I was taking a midnight train to Florida that night. Plus this would be the first night that my cats were alone together without me. Absolutely wonderful! Truly one of the best cat sitters I've ever had, super friendly and responsive - and the cats warmed to her quickly which is a big deal for them! Pets always have a sense of these things. I'm really glad she was able to look over them, I didn't have to worry at all about being gone for a few days. I also booked super last minute and she was really nice about it. Totally recommend!

Brynlee did a great job! Our dog can be very shy and worried of new people, but he seemed comfortable with her from their first visit and quickly warmed up at each additional. She was punctual and spent the proper time with him each day, and sent pictures of our pup, which I love! She was even able to add an extra session day, due to my travel plans changing unexpectedly. I would definitely feel comfortable to book Brynlee again for drop-in visits!
My now-husband and I had to go out of town to get married and this was the first time that we had to rely on someone that we weren't close with to watch our kitties. It was imperative that we found someone that would make an effort to get them to warm up to them and that's exactly what Emma did. She was very communicative, always gave our kitties treats and really made an effort with them. It paid off, because even though they were super shy at the beginning of her time with them and hiding in closets, by her last drop in, they were coming out and allowing for her to pet them. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and really put us at ease. We will be using her again in the future!! 10/10!!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
