“Merrell was wonderful with all of my crazy changes. She is super sweet and genuinely cares for your pets. She did exactly what we asked and provided us with adorable photos. We will definitely be requesting her again in the near future.”

“very sweet and quick to respond. appreciated that meghan was able to drop in on such short notice too. thankful that she really stayed the 30 mins and took pictures everyday.”

“Wow!!! I really think she did a great job. We have a super shy cat and she tried very hard to interact with him. I would book her again. She is very kind good with animals and communicated great.”

“Lexi is a great sitter! She is so organized and on top of everything, it made us feel much safer leaving her to watch our cats. She was so sweet to our shy girls. Definitely recommend her!”

“As usual, Jessica was awesome taking care of my 3 chihuahuas. I like using Jessica not only because she does a great job of taking care of Pablo, Izzy, and Mooch, but also the continuity and familiarity the dogs have when she comes over. She always communicates with me with pictures and texts. One of my older dogs needs several medications and she is always accurate when giving Pablo his medications. Thanks, Jessica for taking such good care of my babies! Stefny Craft”

“Somiya was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of my dog. She sent photos every day, always showed up on time and made everything so simple. Would definitely recommend!!”

“We’re so grateful Hadley was able to look in on our spoiled cat over the holiday weekend. She was great at providing updates and pictures which makes us feel much more at ease leaving our cat at home vs having to board her! Would definitely recommend Hadley to other pet pawrents!”

About: Hi! I’m Melanie, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on pet care experience. Whether your pup needs an active walk, a cozy snuggle buddy, or some extra TLC while you’re away, I’m here to help make them feel safe, loved, and happy. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages — from puppies to senior pets. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always make it a priority to follow your routine closely, with plenty of love and attention along the way. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. I treat every animal like family and aim to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. I’m also happy to share updates, photos, and anything else to keep you connected with your pet! I work from home full-time, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and potty breaks throughout the day! My schedule is consistent but allows me to adapt to your pet’s routine — whether they thrive on playtime, snuggles, structured walks, or just having someone nearby. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide a stable environment and keep a close eye on your pet’s needs. I adhere to your house rules you have established with your pet and know that boundaries are important for both pets and people! I am happy to keep their routine as consistent as possible.
“Kristin did a fantastic job taking care of my dogs while I was traveling for work. I was a little nervous at first since they’re both large and can be strong on the leash, but she handled them great and even helped my lab improve his leash walking. I had total peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have my own pets. I have two dogs and a cat and i love taking care of them. I have walked other peoples dogs before and cared for them! I graduated from college and moved back home. I work part time. Pet care fits into my schedule throughout the week. I have 2 dogs of my own. I would love you walk your dog or take care of your cat! I can provide care to pets at my clients home. I will always make sure they are happy, healthy, and have all their needs met.

About: I'm a self-employed pet lover and dog sitter with lots of experience under my belt. I also work part time to make sure my family future is secure. While I don't have any dogs of my own, I will welcome yours with open arms and care for them as if they're mine! I live in a spacious, two story house and have ample room for your pet to play. My yard is fenced in and very secure. Since there are stairs in my house, dogs with hip or back problems may sleep downstairs. I keep a clean home. If it is a faint smell of dog pee, it’s because dogs do use the restroom on my carpet (I am a dog sitter and most dogs do so in my home, especially the “not so potty trained” ones). I make sure to clean up after every service rendered. Stays on day of pick up after 2 pm can occur additional fees. References are available upon request. About this sitter: I have been pet sitting for several years. I love all animals, especially dogs. I am self employed who work from home, which leaves me plenty of time to spend with your dog. I also have a part time job to make sure my family future is secure. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up around them and have been pet sitting for several years. About my yard I have a spacious, fenced-in backyard.
“Aaron was so wonderful! The dogs loved him right away. He sent us pictures and updated us on how they were doing each time he came. Loved him. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Christina is trustworthy and caring. I felt completely at easy leaving my 100lb baby in her care. It is clear she loves animals and is more than capable of meeting any requirements or specifications you and your pet have. 10/10!!”

“Superb! I was stressed out about leaving my cat alone when i had an expected trip. Sydney is a great communicator that alleviated all the stress i had away, and took great care of my cat with updates pictures daily. I could tell my cat liked her. Would totally book again when i need someone to look after my cat.”
About: I currently have two amazing dogs, Oslo and Annie. Oslo is a Labrador Pit Bull mix. I have taken care of him since he was a puppy. Annie is a Pit Bull mix. I got Annie when she was 2. Both dogs love to play out back in the fenced in yard. What sets me apart? I had a dog with 3 legs and he required special care. His name was Kal. I had a dog named Charlette. She was very overweight when I got her and I helped slim her down by adjusting her diet and walking. I got Charlette when she was old. I took care of her until she died of old age. I have taken care of dogs that were emotionally and physically abused by their previous owners and I have a huge heart for helping dogs through those awful situations. My current dog Annie is a classic example of a dog that can be an amazing companion even after emotional and physical abuse from a previous owner. I also volunteered at final victory through the doggy day out walking program. I participated in the Mardi Gras Parade with one of Final Victory dogs and I have volunteered at the Final Victory Campus to help with cleaning doggy bowls for all the dogs. I can work full time any day of the week. I am available for walking services or staying at the pets home for as many nights as needed. I do not offer boarding services at my home due to Annie still learning that other dogs are a safe space and mean no harm. I care for my pets by playing fetch, giving treats, playing tug of war with a rope, feeding, bathing, providing potty break, walking, and socializing with other dogs. I don't trim dogs nails.
Richland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Caroline has been great with our puppy! We have used her regularly the past couple of weeks on days my husband and I both work. She has been reliable and consistent, sends us photos and takes time to engage in playtime. She responds quickly to our messages and has been flexible with bookings. We would definitely recommend her!

Stephanie did a wonderful job visiting and caring for Dottie and Milton. We got updates during each visit and they clearly enjoyed her presence with them. We’re new to the area and look forward to her being our pet sitter when we are out of town again. Highly recommended!

Alexis was amazing. Our dog has huge anxiety and can be freaked out when meeting people. He took to Alexis right away when she came to meet him. He was even sad when she left. Our cat is known to hide out but she even made a few appearances when Alexis checked in on them.
