About: I have been pet sitting and doing over night stays for friends, family, and now rover for around 5 years! I have also volunteered at PAALs service training dog shelter while at school! I have an elder miniature schnauzer and a cat at home. :) I am currently a senior in college, but I am available all summer! I am available for stop ins as well as over night stays. I care for pets in other peoples homes depending on the owners needs! I am able to hang out and play with the dog at home, stay overnight, and/or take them on walks!

Jeffrey was a very dependable dog walker; walked and fed and watered our dogs on schedule; we would recommend him to others. We received text messages and photos for each of his 16 walks - twice a day for 8 days.

Sasha is a great Rover walker and I highly recommend her services to anyone! My dog Hazel is very shy with everyone she meets, but she immediately took a liking to Sasha and now every time she comes by to take Hazel on a walk, Hazel looks ecstatic in every picture that Sasha sends me from the walks. It makes me happy to know that my dog is in good hands while I'm away during the day, so I highly recommend booking her for any of your pet needs.

About: Hi, I’m Amaya! I’ve been pet sitting for over 7 years and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have a cat named Cheesecake, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll always provide plenty of love and attention, follow your pet’s routine, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m self-employed, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight care, I’m able to accommodate most schedules and give them the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment while following your pet’s routine and care instructions closely. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, while keeping you updated every step of the way.

About: Animal care is very important, I’ve provided pet sitting services for a while now almost 3 years to be exact. Animals should be taken as serious as children, and I will prove it!! Currently I work full time in the morning usually 6am to 12-2 in the afternoon so my services would usually entailed over night or afternoon care. In my own home I provide a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to go potty or just to play outside. Plenty of fresh water, and food.

About: Growing up in a home filled with a beloved cat and two dogs, animals have always been a central part of my life. I understand firsthand that pets aren't just animals—they are cherished family members who deserve the highest level of love, respect, and attentive care. For the past year, I have been working as a dedicated pet sitter and dog walker, providing everything from high-energy outdoor walks to cozy overnight stays. I pride myself on being incredibly reliable, calm, and intuitive when it comes to reading an animal's body language and comfort levels. Whether your pet is high-energy and needs a long walk, or a bit shy and prefers quiet, gentle companionship, I adapt my energy to meet their unique needs. I graduated from college and moved back home. I work part time. Pet care fits into my schedule throughout the week. I have 2 dogs of my own. I would love you walk your dog or take care of your cat! I can provide care to pets at my clients home. I will always make sure they are happy, healthy, and have all their needs met.

Not only am I pet owner, but I have experience fostering kittens, puppies, and sick animals. I am confident in my ability to provide the best care for your animals! About: I’ve taken care of cats ever since I was 13 at my own home, and I’ve helped friends and family members walk, play with, and care for their dogs (and cats) for many years. I’ve been pet sitting professionally for two years, so I am well equipped to provide whatever your fur baby needs! I currently work part time in retail, so my schedule is generally pretty flexible. Whatever it is, we can usually always get something worked out!! I have been caring for my cat, Salem, for the last 7 years in my own home. I currently do not have any dogs of my own, but am fully capable of being a loving figure in your pups life if they need a walking buddy or just a play mate for a little while!

About: While most of my pet care has been focused on cats, I do have experience caring for dogs as well. I have cared for animals of all different ages, health levels, and necessary care levels. I have experience with puppies and elderly dogs. I also have experience administering medicine to pets and caring for injured animals. I have some experience in grooming and upkeep of animals as well. In addition to Dogs and Cats I do have experience caring for all sorts of different animals. Including but not limited to snakes, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, ducks, and chickens. So, please feel free to contact me for any animal care you are searching for! I currently work part time at a restaurant and typically work 2-4 days a week. I am available before 3 or 5 pm the days that I am working, and I am currently available any time on the days I am not working at the restaurant. So my days off I have plenty of time to hang out with your little guys! Due to the fact that I have a young cat and roommates with allergies I cannot personally board animals. However, I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home. I am comfortable with walking any size of dog and am also comfortable with crating dogs and assisting in crate training. I am a very attentive person and notice any pattern changes in animals behavior. I am also very willing to answer any questions anyone might have! :)

Bless her heart, she took my big old treeing walker coon hound for a walk and he didn't want to come home after 30 mins so she walked him for another 50 minutes! He was too big for her to force home, but he eventually got tired and came home without fuss. I'm so grateful to her for being so flexible and patient with him!

About: I have never had a time in my life where I have never had a dog, so I am more than familiar with dog care. I have been relied upon for walks, feeding, playtime, and medicine distribution for both family dogs and friends’ dogs. I am a university student with a flexible schedule, but I do go home to work and over the summer. I would love to help you take care of your sweet fur babies whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard where my two dogs are able to romp around a little bit and have good space to go to the bathroom. I also have a pool in the yard so they are able to swim and cool down. I adore spending quality time with dogs, so I love to hang out with them inside and play that way. I take dogs on walks at the very least once a day, weather permitting. When I am gone for a day, I take my dogs to Evergreen Pet Lodge, where they take incredible care of them and socialize until I can pick them up.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
