Daisy Lou took to William immediately. They both seemed to have a great walk. Daisy Lou was wiped out and just laid down to cool herself off but was excited to see him each visit

About: While most of my pet care has been focused on cats, I do have experience caring for dogs as well. I have cared for animals of all different ages, health levels, and necessary care levels. I have experience with puppies and elderly dogs. I also have experience administering medicine to pets and caring for injured animals. I have some experience in grooming and upkeep of animals as well. In addition to Dogs and Cats I do have experience caring for all sorts of different animals. Including but not limited to snakes, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, ducks, and chickens. So, please feel free to contact me for any animal care you are searching for! I currently work part time at a restaurant and typically work 2-4 days a week. I am available before 3 or 5 pm the days that I am working, and I am currently available any time on the days I am not working at the restaurant. So my days off I have plenty of time to hang out with your little guys! Due to the fact that I have a young cat and roommates with allergies I cannot personally board animals. However, I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home. I am comfortable with walking any size of dog and am also comfortable with crating dogs and assisting in crate training. I am a very attentive person and notice any pattern changes in animals behavior. I am also very willing to answer any questions anyone might have! :)

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was in high school. I've fed, bathed, walked, and provided enrichment for family, friends, and others. I am comfortable with many levels of activity, medication needs, and additional requests. I am a teacher with a set schedule so I am open to many duties over the various breaks, weekends, and time off from school. I do not currently have a dog of my own, nor can I keep one at my residence. However I am happy to help with walking, sitting, and other services

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Currently, I have a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix and a 4-month-old Jack Russell Terrier. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for German Shepherds, Beagles, Pit Bulls, Jack Russells, Labradors, and Schnauzers, and at one point had as many as six dogs. I’ve also owned a cat and have experience caring for cats as well. Friends frequently trust me to pet sit for them, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I also am a Volunteer Dog walker and caregiver at Columbia Animal Shelter. I have a very flexible schedule and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care while you’re away. I’m currently in the army and work 2-3 days a week.my husband stays at home full time. I have a very flexible schedule. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment with regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and comfort level to help them feel secure and happy.

Bless her heart, she took my big old treeing walker coon hound for a walk and he didn't want to come home after 30 mins so she walked him for another 50 minutes! He was too big for her to force home, but he eventually got tired and came home without fuss. I'm so grateful to her for being so flexible and patient with him!

About: I love, love, LOVE animals and will lavish TLC on your fur babies! I started taking care of my neighborhood dogs and cats when I was 10-years-old in Greenville, SC. It's stressful for pets to be boarded while their owners are away, so I try to make sure that they feel loved and secure when I take care of them. I give lots of belly scratches and am known by my doggie work neighbors as the Treat Lady. I take my pet-sitting responsibilities seriously and make your pet my priority when you entrust them in my care. I want to you to go away with a light heart, knowing that your dog or cat is in my loving hands and that I'll spoil them rotten...

I have a fenced in yard for your babies to run around and play in safely. Give me your dogs/cats schedule and they’ll be taken care of.

About: Ever since I was little, I have always had an animal companion at my side. I have experience with both senior pets with medical needs as well as puppies and kittens less than a year old. Wherever your pet is at in their life, I can handle it. I have a consistent schedule during the week and am available in the early mornings, lunch, and after 5. My weekends are completely free with the exception of Saturday evening when I work as a server. I am calm, gentle, and experienced with many animal personalities. Whether your pet is shy and nervous or bouncing and energetic, I will love them like my own!

About: I have never had a time in my life where I have never had a dog, so I am more than familiar with dog care. I have been relied upon for walks, feeding, playtime, and medicine distribution for both family dogs and friends’ dogs. I am a university student with a flexible schedule, but I do go home to work and over the summer. I would love to help you take care of your sweet fur babies whenever you need me! I have a fenced in yard where my two dogs are able to romp around a little bit and have good space to go to the bathroom. I also have a pool in the yard so they are able to swim and cool down. I adore spending quality time with dogs, so I love to hang out with them inside and play that way. I take dogs on walks at the very least once a day, weather permitting. When I am gone for a day, I take my dogs to Evergreen Pet Lodge, where they take incredible care of them and socialize until I can pick them up.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life—from growing up with my sweet chocolate lab, Jessie, to now being a proud cat mom to Sir Purr and Smore. I’ve cared for pets at every stage of life, from playful puppies to senior cats and dogs, and I’ve learned so much from the pets of family members and neighbors along the way. For the past few years, I’ve been pet sitting for close family friends, and it’s something I truly love. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, gentle cuddles, or just a reliable routine, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Your furry friends will be treated like family—because to me, they are! I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I’m available for evenings and overnights on weekdays and available all weekends ! I offer reliable in-home pet care services including drop-ins, overnight stays, playtime, walks, and grooming. While I don’t have a yard, I have my own transportation and am more than happy to come to you. I follow your pet’s routine, provide personalized attention, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while you're away. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I strive to create a stress-free experience for both you and your furry friend!

About: I’ve grown up around all types of animals, not just cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of my own cat and dog for most of my life and will do anything to give them the love and care all animals need. I’m currently a full time student at the University of South Carolina. I love being a student but I also wanted to look into doing something on the side but that’s also fun. I think it’s always extremely important to be respectful of peoples homes. It’s a personal space where people are meant to feel relaxed and be themselves. Respecting my clients home would be top priority along with the care of their pet(s).

About: I have had dogs all my life and I got my second dog from volunteering from shelter. I love all animals and love having play dates. I am currently home most days due to graduating and will be starting my nursing career in December. I work on campus two days a week for 5 hrs per day with a grant funded program. My dogs stay uncaged in my home and i let them out multiple times a day. I have classes mon-wed. My dogs are spoiled and have plenty of snacks and play dates with my friend's dog.

This is the 3rd time we used Teresa’s services and we couldn’t be more pleased. It really is helpful to have someone trustworthy and reliable to walk our pup for us on days we can’t. It also helps keep him from getting into mischief at home while we are out.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ravenwood. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
