About: Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m looking to cat sit anytime and dog sit Friday-Sunday. I’m a dependable and compassionate pet sitter with over five years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I strive to provide personalized care that keeps them happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, administering medications, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family members are in caring, responsible hands. As a PhD student, my schedule can vary from week to week depending on classes, research, and clinical responsibilities. I’m happy to discuss my availability once you know your travel dates, and I’ll always be upfront about what I can accommodate. I’ll do my best to provide reliable, flexible care that fits both your schedule and your pet’s needs. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and gentle care while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll treat your home with respect and your pet as if they were my own. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how they are doing and enjoy peace of mind throughout your trip.

Samantha has been amazing so far. She has been very communicative and sends plenty of pictures of our dog during their outings. Always on time and doesn’t leave a trace after she drops him off other than adding water to his bowl which we appreciate. She does a great job of checking for accidents and other things that may be out of place during the visit and reports back if anything is found. We definitely plan to continue using her services for as long as she allows us.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have experience caring for family pets on a daily basis. Through feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and companionship, I’ve learned how to understand dogs’ needs and make them feel comfortable and safe. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends dogs on multiple occasions. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to treating every pet with the same care and patience I give my own dogs. I’m currently a college student with a part-time job, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. When I’m not in class or at work, I’m usually home and available for walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting. I’ll always communicate my availability and make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them plenty of attention. I grew up with dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for them and know that every pet is different. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: Animal care is very important, I’ve provided pet sitting services for a while now almost 3 years to be exact. Animals should be taken as serious as children, and I will prove it!! Currently I work full time in the morning usually 6am to 12-2 in the afternoon so my services would usually entailed over night or afternoon care. In my own home I provide a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to go potty or just to play outside. Plenty of fresh water, and food.

About: I currently have two amazing dogs, Oslo and Annie. Oslo is a Labrador Pit Bull mix. I have taken care of him since he was a puppy. Annie is a Pit Bull mix. I got Annie when she was 2. Both dogs love to play out back in the fenced in yard. What sets me apart? I had a dog with 3 legs and he required special care. His name was Kal. I had a dog named Charlette. She was very overweight when I got her and I helped slim her down by adjusting her diet and walking. I got Charlette when she was old. I took care of her until she died of old age. I have taken care of dogs that were emotionally and physically abused by their previous owners and I have a huge heart for helping dogs through those awful situations. My current dog Annie is a classic example of a dog that can be an amazing companion even after emotional and physical abuse from a previous owner. I also volunteered at final victory through the doggy day out walking program. I participated in the Mardi Gras Parade with one of Final Victory dogs and I have volunteered at the Final Victory Campus to help with cleaning doggy bowls for all the dogs. I can work full time any day of the week. I am available for walking services or staying at the pets home for as many nights as needed. I do not offer boarding services at my home due to Annie still learning that other dogs are a safe space and mean no harm. I care for my pets by playing fetch, giving treats, playing tug of war with a rope, feeding, bathing, providing potty break, walking, and socializing with other dogs. I don't trim dogs nails.

About: While most of my pet care has been focused on cats, I do have experience caring for dogs as well. I have cared for animals of all different ages, health levels, and necessary care levels. I have experience with puppies and elderly dogs. I also have experience administering medicine to pets and caring for injured animals. I have some experience in grooming and upkeep of animals as well. In addition to Dogs and Cats I do have experience caring for all sorts of different animals. Including but not limited to snakes, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, ducks, and chickens. So, please feel free to contact me for any animal care you are searching for! I currently work part time at a restaurant and typically work 2-4 days a week. I am available before 3 or 5 pm the days that I am working, and I am currently available any time on the days I am not working at the restaurant. So my days off I have plenty of time to hang out with your little guys! Due to the fact that I have a young cat and roommates with allergies I cannot personally board animals. However, I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home. I am comfortable with walking any size of dog and am also comfortable with crating dogs and assisting in crate training. I am a very attentive person and notice any pattern changes in animals behavior. I am also very willing to answer any questions anyone might have! :)

Bella-Rose is my 18 week old, lovable Cavapoo fur baby. Christina is her first other human exposure besides me and Bella's dad, being that she just got all her vaccines. I unexpectedly had to cover my 24 hour business this month and knew I would need help with Bella. I signed on with Rover and Christina responded within 5 minutes. I was nervous at first but upon meeting Christina, I knew that Bella was in good hands. Chrisrina is on time, professional, and very loving and patient with Bella-Rose. I had no idea that these type services existed, being a new puppy mom, but I am glad I found Rover and Christina. I will definitely be using her in the future and I highly recommend her. She is great!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
