About: (My legal name is Lauren, but I go by Alex, Rover won’t let me change it - so if you see my reviews and they all say Alex that is why) I have been caring for other’s pets for many years and have repeat clients because I treat their animal as if they are my own! I work full time during the week but have plenty of time after work/on the weekends to be fully invested in the well being of your pet. I have the sweetest puppy (almost a year old) at home who loves to play with other dogs. She is up to date on all her vaccinations, as we take her to off leash dog parks/daycare on a regular basis that require those records. I also have an 8 year old cat at home who keeps to herself.

About: Have an energetic pup who needs someone who can keep up? I’d love to help! I’ve had my own dog, Dallas, since I was 10, and my family currently has three Boxers, so I’m very comfortable with large, energetic dogs. I love going on walks, playing fetch and tug-of-war, but I’m just as happy to cuddle and relax with your pet. I’ve also regularly pet sat for four families, caring for up to three cats and two large dogs in one home, so I’m experienced with different personalities, routines and needs. I love taking pictures and sending cute updates while you’re away, and I’ll always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend! I’m a college student at the University of South Carolina with a flexible schedule! My only set commitments are classes: Monday and Wednesday from 2:20–3:35 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:05–11:20 AM and 2:50–4:05 PM. Everything else is extracurricular and can be adjusted around pet-care needs. Fridays and weekends are completely open, and I’m generally flexible with scheduling. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and find times that work best for both of us! I have a fully fenced in, chain-link backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time and play, with supervision. I don’t have a crate, but I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide about where they’re most comfortable resting. About: I’ve been around all types/sizes of dogs! I truly love taking care of animals and always prioritize their safety, care, and needs first! I provide a stress free, calm, environment with low noise and a great fenced in backyard to play in! I have taken care of many of my friends/neighbors pets and also grew up with two dogs of my own so I know all the responsibility it takes! I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for the past few years where I had to pass a test specifically on caring for dogs and reading their body language! I’m currently in school and working part-time, but in my free time I’d love to spend time caring for your pets! My schedule is also flexible enough that I can do weekly visits as I am very reliable and dependable. I’m dedicated to making your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible! I am currently a zoo keeper and have been in the field for three years. I have cared for reptiles, small mammals, some birds, and larger hoof stock. Hannah is amazing!! She made sure to ask all the important questions and took great care of our kitty Vada. Finding someone trustworthy and dependable with your fur babies is hard but she made it so simple and made sure to keep me updated while we were gone. Vada usually gets sad and stops eating as much 3-4 days into our week long vacations and she ate completely normal while we were gone so just knowing she felt comfortable and happy while we were gone was such a comfort. 10/10 recommend Hannah for your pet needs and will def use her again in the future!!
Kendra went above and beyond to accommodate for my cat while I was gone for 5 weeks recovering from surgery. She kept her fed, watered and made sure she had a clean litter box while giving her plenty of love and Churu in the meantime. I cannot recommend Kendra enough!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
