About: I’ve cared for everything from Chihuahuas to English Mastiffs! We’ve trained them as puppies and cared for them to their last days. They are family. I’m currently working as a part time substitute in Lexington 1. I make my own schedule during the school year. I love teaching special education. I have a large fenced yard. We divided it up into two sides. We also have a huge dog house with air conditioning and beds.

Normally he gets very anxious when I leave and won’t eat much or go potty (poop). but with Katelyn that wasn’t a problem at all. He felt comfortable right away and it was clear when I got home that he had completely fallen in love with her. He ate a lot yay ! Her flexible schedule made it easy for her to let him out every 4 to 6 hours, which was a huge help. She also communicated clearly and often, sending lots of photos and updates that gave me peace of mind. On top of that, she gave him all the cuddles and attention he loves, and he was happy and relaxed when I returned. Katelyn is amazing, and I’ll definitely be booking her again.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old for friends, neighbors, and family members. I am comfortable will all dog breeds and ages, and have experience with many different types of dogs. I have previously worked for a small pet sitting/dog walking business as both a pet sitter/walker and office manager. I, myself, have an older German Shepard that needs frequent play time and takes medicine daily; I am very comfortable administering medicine to dogs. I am currently taking online college classes to obtain my bachelor's in Kinesiology. I do have a job as a personal trainer/group instructor and admin for a small gym in the area. I am available early mornings before 8am and afternoons after 1pm. I have experience in homes with and without fences, with dogs who are and are not crate trained and very comfortable, and experienced, with calm and excited dogs.

“All that is necessary to say about Kristin is that when we came home it was as if we had never left. Everyone was calm and relaxed and clearly well taken care of, and the dogs very clearly missed her for a couple of days after we got home! When we first met, the dogs took to her immediately, and she was so at ease with them. She is clearly an expert in her field! She sent photo and video updates every day and asked questions when she needed to, but she was very independent about the whole sitting experience. We were able to enjoy our trip without any issues. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel secure and comfortable. I make sure they’re well-fed, exercised, and given lots of love while you’re away. I plan my schedule to make sure pets get the time and attention they deserve. While I work Monday–Thursday from 8–5, I’m available before and after work for walks, feedings, and quality time. I have full availability on weekends, so I can dedicate extra time for play, longer walks, and overnight care.
