“Whitney is fabulous with our furry friends. Even our most finicky friend comes out to socialize with her. Gives us peace of mind knowing our furry companions are safe and lovingly taken care of.”
“Andrew was wonderful with Lola. He gave detailed reports each time he visited and sent multiple pictures. She was very happy to see us when we got home, but she was in great hands with Andrew!!!”

“All I can say is that Heather did an amazing job taking care of my moody but sweet Cali the Calico. She understood her attitude and gave her the space that she wanted. About: New to Rover, but not new to pet care! I grew up with a golden retriever named Daisy and a lovable mutt named Roxie, and more recently became a cat mom to Tortellini. I am a reliable, communicative caregiver who treats every pet like my own. Whether it is a walk around Lake Murray, a game of laser tag with your cat, playtime in the backyard or sticking to your pet's routine, I will keep you updated with photos and messages while you are apart. My goal is to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for while they miss you and give you peace of mind while you miss them. I am a full-time alumni manager and instructor with flexible work hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can provide visits early in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening after work. Each client is unique in their needs, and I am happy to tailor my care to what works best for you, including your preferred method and frequency of updates.
About: For about two years I took care of my cousin's amazing dog Cyrus. My cousin had to travel extensively, so my routine with Cyrus was fairly involved. I took him on almost daily 45 minute walks, during which Cyrus would do his best to sneak tasty poop nuggets from under my laser gaze. I fed him twice per day, adding extra carrots as necessary to fuel some afternoon rounds of golf (his favorite game). And we'd bark at a few cars if they seemed extra suspicious. I also took him on routine vet visits and nail trimmings. I've also pet sit my friend's two cats, Iris and June, when my friend was away for several days. This included keeping the food and water bowls clean and filled, as well as playing with strings (Iris's favorite), and playing hide and seek (June's favorite). Currently, I'm switching from my former profession of teaching Physics, to my future profession of Data Sciece/AI. Right now this entails a lot of sitting and studying, which gives me plenty of time and opportunity to help care for your pet. My particular modus operandi will obviously be at the discretion of the pet owner. But generally, I am comfortable feeding your fur-friend, taking them on walks/playing with them, and taking them for routine visits to the vet if necessary.
“Sami did a great job caring for our two cats while we were gone for a week. She kept in frequent communication with me (which I really appreciated cause I can be kind of needy, lol), and the cats were happy when we got home. She got our mail too! Thanks, Sami!”
About: Hello I’m Lia! With nine years of dedicated pet care experience, I offer comprehensive and compassionate service for your beloved companions. During my college years, I gained three years of valuable boarding experience, comfortably hosting pets in my home. As a highly active individual, I love taking dogs out for extended playtime and walks, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I have no limitations on breed or size, as I believe all dogs are, at heart, still sweet puppies deserving of love and attentive care. I am currently on Summer break so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur-baby! I am available for house sitting, drop-ins, and daily dog walking. On Sundays I won’t be available until the afternoon. When caring for pets in your home I will respect their routines and carefully follow the provided instructions. I value integrity and will always have respect for your home.
“Lindsey and Aaron saved us with a last minute visit for Wallace during the middle of the day. The pictures they sent proved it was the right move- he looked like the happiest dog at the surprise visit from his new friends!”

“I am so thankful for Nicole! She helped my husband and I when we needed someone to let our new puppy out last minute. She was responsive and on time. We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I am a 35 year old Mother of 3 beautiful children, my Husband & I rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. I personally have owned and/or fostered dogs, cats & an array of random critters my entire life! I absolutely love all animals from Reptiles & Rodents to Cats & Dogs. I currently own 3 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, 1 Holland Lop Bunny & 1 California Rex Bunny, I also rehabilitated a baby squirrel who still returns Home for dinner sometimes. I have volunteered at many animal shelters and rescues. I’m an experienced Surgical Recovery Technician for a non-profit rescue. I have plenty of experience managing groups of up to 20 dogs or more by myself. I have worked with many different temperaments and ages, I’m always up for a challenge and am prepared to work with animals of all breeds, ages and temperaments with no question that I will form a bond with them very quickly. Also, I might be able to work hours that I have not listed if it is discussed in advance! I currently work on my own schedule, I am an Independent Contractor for multiple companies. Ultimately I am free to walk your pup or pet-sit anytime because I make my own hours! I will care for every animal as if they are my own. An owner leaving can be a very confusing time for an animal and it is important that they are shown a lot of affection and constantly reminded that they are loved! I intend to make every animal’s walk/visit a happy one and care for them as I hope someone would my own. Any animal in my care should be prepared for some good exercise as well, unless otherwise specified to take it easy due to old age and whatnot. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon, God Bless!

Irmo cat parents share their Rover experiences
Emily took great care of my two cats and was always friendly and communicative throughout the booking. She was able to pill and give an inhaler to my one cat that needs it. I was worried as this was my first time using Rover, but Emily proved there was nothing to worry about! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter! Thank you for caring for my fur babies while I was away, Emily!

I couldn’t have asked for better care for my cat, Oreo. Whitney is a true animal lover and really connected with her, which meant so much to me. Her communication was thoughtful, responsive, and always kept me feeling at ease. She went above and beyond, and I truly felt like Oreo was so well cared for while I was away. I would absolutely trust her again!

Sara was absolutely amazing. Caring, attentive, and wonderful with my cats. She even brought her own toys, which they loved! One of my cats usually takes time to warm up to new people, but Sara managed to get him comfortable on day one. She went above and beyond, without being asked she took the litter with her instead of leaving it in the trash, washing the cat bowls, and following all of my instructions perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Sara and will definitely be booking her again. Thanks again Sara!
