“Andrew was wonderful with Lola. He gave detailed reports each time he visited and sent multiple pictures. She was very happy to see us when we got home, but she was in great hands with Andrew!!!”

“Kelly was AMAZING!!! Her timing was prompt & she went above and beyond my expectations. Working long shifts in healthcare leaves me so stressed knowing my furbabies are at home alone & knowing they got such good care from Kelly was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough. For taking the extra time to walk her, making sure she got multiple potty opportunities, and the photo updates. Highly recommend 🤩”

“Tommie was great! She went above and beyond to ensure my pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates with photos and videos, which gave me total peace of mind. She communicated very well throughout the entire process. Her genuine care made this an outstanding experience. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, look no further! I will absolutely be booking with her again.”
“Jade was wonderful with my shy girl. I really appreciated the tracking of visits and photos. She surprised me with a couple of selfie's with her which is huge. Definitely recommend her!”

“Hannah was wonderful with our two kitties! She sent pictures and detailed Rover Cards that we truly appreciated! This made us much more relaxed while being away! She was not previously familiar with cat inhalers, but was willing to learn during the meet and greet. We will definitely book Hannah for future drop in visits! Thank you Hannah!”

“Deborah was great with our dogs! She has such a kind, calm demeanor and connected right away with our dogs. She was punctual, sent lots of pictures, & provided thorough updates. I would definitely recommend her and we will be booking with her again!”

“I am so thankful for Nicole! She helped my husband and I when we needed someone to let our new puppy out last minute. She was responsive and on time. We will definitely be using her services again!”

“We honestly can’t say enough good things about Gabrielle! She’s patient, kind, and just “gets” them in a way that puts us completely at ease. She’s always on time, super consistent, and quick to respond. Our dogs adore her, and so do we!”

“Lindsey was so sweet! I loved getting pictures of our pup while at work and knowing that he had a chance to play when I couldn’t be home for a few more hours. We were very impressed with her dedication to helping care for our pet when she still came to our drop in after dealing with a flat tire. Our dog was a little nervous at first, he is used to one of us coming home for mid day play time, but Lindsey was patient with him and we’re so glad he got over his nerves and came out of his shell to be the sweetheart we know him to be. Overall, we really feel like the cared about Hiccup the same way we would. We were so impressed and happy and we’re excited to book again!”

“We appreciate Heather taking care of our furbabies when we need to be away. She is on time and sends pictures when she lets them out. She gives of peace of mind knowing she is taking good care of them.”

“Highly recommend! Charity was able to help with four last-minute drop-in visits and took wonderful care of my dog. Communication was great, I loved the updates and photos, and I had complete peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands.”

About: My name is Olivia (Liv) and I'm a working professional with a love for dogs. I graduated from NC State and the university of South Carolina. I love little furry friends and I enjoy play time and will take great care of your dog like I do my own. I am available as needed and can make necessary arrangements to ensure you and your pup are taken care of! I am flexible ,dependable, and can make any accommodations as necessary. I am willing to stay in your home so your baby can be in their own environment, pop in for visits, or just go for walks! I'm here for you! Message me, I'd love to talk and answer any questions or discuss how to best accommodate you! Currently working from home so I have a flexible schedule that I can do walks during the day and constantly check in as needed. My schedule is pretty consistent. My apartment is a townhome style with plenty of space to move around and the neighborhood is very safe and walkable. The safety of your pet is my priority always. I have A baby/doggy gate to prevent accidents on the stairs.
About: Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time caring for them and understanding their unique personalities. I currently care for 2 dogs, 2 rescue cats, and 4 guinea pigs, so I’m very comfortable with multi-pet households and different personalities. One of my cats requires daily medication, which has given me experience following medication routines and paying close attention to a pet’s needs. I also volunteer at our municipal animal shelter and foster dogs and cats, which has given me experience working with animals of many different temperaments, including shy or rescue pets. In addition, I’ve worked with horses for the past 10 years and have over 30 years of horse experience. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I carefully follow each pet’s routine and any instructions you provide so they can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand so everyone feels comfortable, and I always send updates and photos so you know your pets are happy and doing well. I work full time with a flexible schedule. On weekdays I’m available for brief drop-in visits in the mornings and longer visits in the evenings, including evening dog walks. On weekends I have more availability and can provide several drop-in visits per day as well as dog walks twice daily. I can also care for small animals like guinea pigs with morning and evening visits. Because of my experience with horses and farm animals, I’m also available for weekend barn checks or basic care as needed. In addition to pet care, I’m happy to help with small household tasks while you’re away, such as watering plants, bringing in mail, and weekend house sitting. If your request doesn’t seem to perfectly fit my listed schedule, please feel free to reach out anyway. I’m always happy to see if we can find a solution that works for both of us. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their normal routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed. During visits I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also clean litter boxes, check cages for small animals, and can give medication if needed. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure each pet’s needs and routines are respected. After each visit, I send updates and photos so you know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve grown up with every kind of animal; dog, cat, bird, snake…you name it I probably had it. I currently own my ESA Molly, a 3yo cat who was a pregnant foster fail (her 4 babies went to amazing homes). I have experience fostering and owning pregnant dogs and cats. I have midwifed puppies at the age of 15 alone. I then got to train those 6 puppies which was an amazing experience. I love getting to spend time with animals and I have the time to help owners who maybe can’t be with their fur babies all day. I am a full time graduate student, however weekends i have all day availability, and during the week I am available in the mornings and evenings. I don’t work so other than classes I have a lot of free time. In my own home, Molly is cared for solely by me. This would be the same for your pet. I have two female roommates (also animal lovers) who have their own space in our apartment. Molly is allowed free roam including the balcony, however only with MY supervision on the balcony. With foster dogs we’ve had, they were also allowed on the balcony, as we are on the second floor with a 4.5ft railing. Our complex has a completely fenced in large grass area for dogs in between the buildings where we take our fosters out to play. In your home, it is up to you how I care for your animals. I’m willing to do sidewalk walks as well as go to dog parks. I have no issue visiting your pet at your home to take them just to the backyard or on a 2 mile walk.

Kendra went above and beyond to accommodate for my cat while I was gone for 5 weeks recovering from surgery. She kept her fed, watered and made sure she had a clean litter box while giving her plenty of love and Churu in the meantime. I cannot recommend Kendra enough!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Seven Oaks. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
