“Rose has enjoyed her stay with Jud and Nicole I was was very impressed and happy with their care and professionalism in regards to dog care !!! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their dog boarded with loving care”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“As a Rover sitter myself, I’m very picky about who I choose when I need a home-away-from-home for our shih-tzu Gus. Sally could not be a better choice! She provided daily updates with cute photos, and she loved on Gus as she would her own dog, making him feel comfortable and at home. I will use Sally every time I need a sitter!”

“Nontombe was great! She provided consistent picture and video updates of him throughout the stay! I could tell from those that he was enjoying his time which made me feel great knowing he was in good hands. 10/10! Definitely will use her services again!”

“Dolly had a great time with Stacey and her family! Stacey kept me updated with pictures during her time there. She walked her and kept her active! Would definitely recommend and bring Dolly back again.”

“Lindsey and Aaron are great! This was my first time leaving my baby with a sitter and they were sure to take lots of pics during her stay to reassure me that she was well taken care of. They loved on my girl so well she didn’t want to come home. Definitely recommend these two.”

“Gina was absolutely amazing in the way she cared for my pup. She is a great communicator and sent plenty of photos to keep me updated while I was away. She went above and beyond to take care of my girl, and I would absolutely reach out to Gina in the future.”

“When our dog sitter canceled the day before we were to leave, Someone recommended Rover. I was hesitant, but I found Sabastian and was happy with his bio. He responded immediately and agreed to get our dog the next day. I am so thankful to them. He and his family took such good care of our baby. He sent us pictures throughout the stay and reassured everything was great and our dog was enjoying thier dogs. Our dog was well taken care of and healthy and happy when we picked him up. Sabastian was very welcoming and kind to us and our dog and I am so thankful that we found him. We will definitely use him again.”

“Wonderful in every single way! They took the best care of my dog, sent me pictures of her every day, and took her on long walks and runs which she loved. Would recommend and will be booking them again!”

“Lucas was so great! He was very attentive and responsive to any questions I had. He sent me many photos while I was away and kept me updated on how my babies’ day went with his new friend Bo.? I can tell Rigatoni had a good time with Bo and was in great hands in their household . Thank you for everything!!?”

“Ms Carol was phenomenal with our senior dog! He was living his best life this past weekend! We were in town for a family reunion and brought him along for the ride. 😀 I would definitely book her again if needed.”

“Assatta was amazing!! She kept me informed with daily texts, pictures and videos of how Joonie was doing each day. She has a dog already and it was great to see that my dog meshed well with hers. It was clear from the updates she sent each day that our dogs became “besties” instantly. I am thoroughly pleased with the care that Assatta provided for Joonie. She informed me that she would be willing to watch my dog anytime and I certainly plan on using her again in the future. It was clear that Joonie had the time of his life in Assatta’s care, he came home and instantly went to sleep because he was worn out from having so much fun. Thank you so much Assatta for treating him like your own! ☺️”

“Truly amazing person! Treated my dog just as if it were hers and when I picked him up, he was already walked and fed. Could not have asked for anyone better! I had true peace of mind thee entire time.”

“Sunny always comes home well loved and exhausted! Our dog gets excited when we pull in the driveway every time! Michael handled our dog needing medication with ease while we were away.”

“Aiko is the best! Sometimes it can be hard for my puppy to get adjusted to someone new, but she felt at home with Aiko pretty quickly! When I picked her up the first time, she was content and well-rested. I really appreciate Aiko's communication with updates and pictures throughout her stay. Your pet is in great hands if you’re blessed to be able to book with her!”

Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing nearby while I work, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I also know how important it is to stay connected while you're away. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in good hands. We'll enjoy playtime throughout the day, along with morning and evening walks, weather permitting. I have a fenced-in yard and a 6-year-old female American Staffy named Lilly. Lilly is very social and gets along great with other dogs and even cats.

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“They took amazing care of my dog for over two weeks! Daily walks and lots of picture updates every day. He looked happy and well taken care of. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!”

“Hannah is wonderful with Cali, and is really great at making sure she is safe, fed and well cared for! She also sends thorough check-ins with the best pictures! We love when Hannah comes to watch our Cali girl”

“This is the 2nd time I’ve booked Gracen, and can’t stress enough how great she is. Her communication is perfect, she sends great updates, and clearly is passionate about cats and loves what she does! I could not possibly recommend her more, and will be booking her again in the future! While I hate being away from my boy, I get sleep at night knowing he is in such great hands!”

“She was an amazing sitter! She watched my 4-month old kitten Deon and made sure he was comfortable and cared for during his stay. She sent several updates throughout the day including photos and videos of him. When his time was up, she packed all his stuff up before I arrived to pick him up and had him ready for send off! I enjoyed sitting with her a bunch and will make sure to check with her first before other sitters!”

“Kelly was AMAZING!!! Her timing was prompt & she went above and beyond my expectations. Working long shifts in healthcare leaves me so stressed knowing my furbabies are at home alone & knowing they got such good care from Kelly was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Seriously, I can’t thank her enough. For taking the extra time to walk her, making sure she got multiple potty opportunities, and the photo updates. Highly recommend 🤩”

“Hannah was great with my kitties. She was so caring and kept me updated. It was my first time leaving them and using Rover so she definitely made the experience easy and peaceful. I highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future. Thank you Hannah!”

About: Growing up with cats, I know that each one has their own unique personality and require personalized care. I’m up for whatever the challenge may be with your feline friend.

About: I've taken care of many different pets in my life, however, none is more special to me personally than cats. I have a strong and intuitive bond w/ cats and I understand their unique and diverse personalities, as well as their diverse levels of care. Friends and family have trusted me to pet sit for kittens as well as elderly cats. I myself have 3 cat children, and I prefer to sit w/cats in their own environments to make sure they feel safest in their own routines.

“Jade was wonderful with my shy girl. I really appreciated the tracking of visits and photos. She surprised me with a couple of selfie's with her which is huge. Definitely recommend her!”

“Lindsey and Aaron were wonderful. I have never had to use a babysitting service before, so I was very nervous about how my 2 cat fur babies would react to strangers and concerned about whether Bobo and Ellie would be given the care they were used to. I wasted my time worrying because both Ellie and Bobo took to Lindsey like bees to honey on her first drop in visit on Saturday evening. Even though Bobo and Ellie remained upstairs hiding during my meet-and-great with Lindsey and Aaron on Friday, they obviously overcame their shyness and apprehension by the time Lindsey arrived on Saturday evening. They both greeted her in the kitchen, where she perfectly followed all feeding instructions. Lindsey then spent several minutes in the living room playing with Bobo and Ellie, who nuzzled her hands, enjoyed belly rubs, and being petted as reflected in the pictures she sent to us, as well as our Tapo camera. Lindsey repeated the whole process on Sunday morning as per instructions, and again sent us numerous pictures of Bobo and Ellie enjoying being spoiled by Lindsey. When we arrived home on Sunday afternoon, all 3 litter boxes had been cleaned as per the instructions. I gave Lindsey (and Aaron) 5 stars mainly because of the extra time they stay and played with Ellie and Bobo, which was extremely important to me. The 5 stars were also because they followed all instructions to the letter, and I came home to find 2 very happy cats. Bobo and Ellie do not take easily to strangers. The fact they took to Lindsey and Aaron so quickly speaks a lot about my fur babies’ feelings of safety and security around them. I might also add that Lindsey and Aaron were actually early on both visits. I would highly recommend using Lindsey and Aaron for your fur babies’ babysitting needs! I know I will be using them again! Thanks again, Lindsey and Aaron!”

“Whitney was great. Good communication and friendly. Loved that she took a picture of our girl and sent it. She was very accommodating to our change in schedule as well. We will definitely be booking her again. Thanks Whitney!”

“This was the first time I have ever left my two cats while on vacation and was nervous about not being with them but Abigail truly went above and beyond and took such amazing care of them. She is the sweetest and I was able to be more relaxed while out of town knowing they were safe and being taken care of! Will definitely be using her again for any future trips!!”

About: 30+ years loving and caring for all types of fur babies! I've been around animals most of my life so it is second nature to me to take care of and love on them! Do you want someone not just to feed but also love your pets? I am currently between jobs and as such an available 24/7 at the moment. I have recently applied to some full time jobs, so that may update soon. In home the pets stay indoors unless needing to potty. We have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to roam and play. At times when we are out of the house the (dogs) would be on the covered back porch with water and full access to the fenced in yard.
“I am so thankful for Nicole! She helped my husband and I when we needed someone to let our new puppy out last minute. She was responsive and on time. We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: Hey there! My name is Shae and I think I'd be a great option for you to consider as a dog friend. The past six or so years I've worked, managed, and assisted multiple different rescue organizations and have learned so much about the dogs in my care that it truly has become a profession. Before that I was a regular dog boarder/walker in Washington state on Rover & Wag which is where my reviews start from. Parents used to participate in world shows with our GSD growing up so I had young and immediate exposure to working lines and I've also had a stint working with wildlife between gigs/states. Ive worked in a spay/neuter clinic as a tech, completed animals CPR, and Ive managed animal transports which basically means I drove dogs who are out of time here in the south into the north for a better chance at life. While on transport with me, it is my job to walk them, care for them, and soothe them on the long, stressful** journey. Now Im taking care of my grandpa so I am always home. *Able to administer oral medication, and injections *Comfortable with most special cases (behaviourally or medically) *Able to care for seniors, or sense-impaired *Typically will gage health, comfort, & energy level and do playgroups; large w large and small w small dogs only. If you do not want you're pup interacting w others, please specify as I am able to keep everyone separated via sections of the home and yard rotations. Though typically when grouped, they have in-out access for 85% of the day but are supervised 100% of that time as my working space is indoor/outdoor. If multi-boarding (usually just around holidays), I do crate overnight (indoors) roughly 10pm to 7am. Multiple dogs from same home, or pups that find crates stressful, that are not destructive when alone can sleep in the guest bedroom. . Overall I'm pretty flexible and do this for the love of dogs, so if you have concerns, questions, or preferences, please feel free to shoot me a message! My pups are my world and I understand how stressful leaving them can be so I send lots of pictures and do my best to show them theyre loved while puppy-parents are away. Home full time caring for my grandfather, so dogs are roaming and playing most of the day. Longest theyll spend without outside time is overnight, otherwise its usually no more than 2hrs. Without being too curt, I ensure the dog is comfortable, safe, fed, and loved. I think this is too complicated of a question to answer in a brief box as all dogs vary and require different amounts of affection, interaction outside, medicine, et cetera et cetera.. But I am one of those people who calls my dogs my kids and I do believe they as a species deserve so much more.

“Deborah is punctual, reliable, and so great with our two goldendoodles. Our older dog, Chloe, usually has some anxiety with new sitters, but she exhibited none when she met Deborah! She sent lots of pictures and great notes. I highly recommend!!”

“Shannon always takes such great care of my boy. He goes to day care at her house weekly, and is always so excited to jump out of the car and run to her door! He has made a new best friend with her sweet girl! I recommend her over and over, she will treat your baby as her own!”

“Our Yorkie, Dottie, seemed to enjoy her time with Sebastian and his family. She must have played a lot because she was tired but sad to leave. I would certainly use Sebastian again in the future and recommend him to anyone.”

“Jud and Nicole are great! Dexter stayed with them for a day and with the very first picture they sent us just a few minutes after we dropped him off, I could see how happy and comfortable he was with them. He also had lots of fun with his new friend Baxter. Now we can rest assured that our baby is in great hands when we go on a trip in a few weeks.”

“Michael & wife (Tracy, I think) were such a pleasant surprise considering I booked last minute. So accommodating and super sweet people. Amazing with dogs, as my baby is very skiddish and slow to warm but adopted easily in their home. The second day my dog came right up to Michael, excited and tail wagging. It was a huge relief. I booked last minute after a little crisis and was so thankful to have such good people take care of my dogs. There a little out of my way but I trust them 100% with my dog. Thank you again!”

“Needing a pet sitter for my fur baby while I was visiting my daughter at the University of South Carolina- only for a few hours to watch the basketball game. I didn’t want to leave her in the hotel with all the doors slamming. I was so pleased and thankful to find Gina on Rover- who responded immediately and said that she could watch my Nola. Gina gave me lots of pictures during the visit and made me feel safe and comfortable! I knew she was in good hands! 🐾💕 Would definitely recommend and use again! 5 out of 5 🌟”

“Totally amazing! My dog can be slow to warm up to new people but she was able to make him feel comfortable and safe from the first day. I really appreciated the updates as well, would rebook any time I need a sitter.”

“They are absolutely great! We are doing the day care, and the first night Comet (my super SUPER high energy dog) came home tired! He had all day to play and run around. They have a great space for the dogs. Highly recommend! They sent me updates and kept me informed as well.”

“Omgosh! Michelle was our hero the weekend of my nephews wedding! Newly relocated to the Charleston area, we knew no one to watch our pup while we went to Savannah for the wedding. We found Michelle in Savannah, and she was wonderful!! So sweet and loving to our 10year old poodle bichon, and he seemed to be comfortable with her and her place right away. If you're looking for the perfect dog sitter, look no further, Michelle is your gal.”

“I am very impressed with Daniel! He and Bentley got along beautifully and Max proved to be a good doggie friend. Daniel has a very calm demeanor and sweet disposition- Bentley became attached immediately since he is rather calm. Daniel took exceptional care and responded quickly to my silly check-ins during the day. I highly recommend Daniel!”

“Winnie had a great first rover experience with Charlotte and Woody. They were wonderful hosts that made me feel confident in her being well taken care of for the day. Charlotte provided picture when I asked for an update. Would highly recommend.”

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! With dogs and cats, I try to provide them with as much mental stimulation that I can (and maybe a few treats).

“Teia had a great time and came home ready for a nap. Lyndsay sent beautiful pictures which we will treasure. And really appreciate her flexibility and agreeing to our last minute request for daycare. See you soon!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover who's had dogs my entire life, I can’t imagine living without one! I've also cared for friends’ and family members’ cats, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals. Whether it's playtime, walks, or cuddle sessions, I love making sure pets feel happy and loved while their humans are away. :) I work mostly evenings at a restaurant so I have a pretty flexible schedule. The shifts are only about 5 hours long so I am very available to care for your animals in between. I am a very neat person, I always leave everything as I found it or better. I know how particular pets can be, and when owners are away it’s very important to keep their routine so they don’t feel uncomfortable or upset.

“Lexie took amazing care of my lab! She is incredibly detail-oriented during the intake process and clearly passionate about dogs. Her professionalism really stood out. The pack-dog environment she provides (just as advertised) was perfect for my super-friendly and playful lab, who thrived in her care. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and am so grateful to have found Lexie. I will absolutely be bringing my fur baby back!”

“Very friendly, lots of pics and updates, and most important... They were patient with my spoiled mutt. They were just as friendly as they were professional. Definitely recommend them in high esteem.”

“I appreciate Nick so much! I needed a pretty last-minute booking while traveling down to Columbia to visit family, and he accepted Mateo within just an hour or two. He took such great care of him and sent me pictures throughout his stay, which I really appreciated. Even within the first 10 minutes, I texted to check on Mateo, and Nick reassured me that he was doing great and that he was enjoying his company. His communication was amazing, and he really took the extra steps to make sure Mateo was comfortable and well taken care of. As someone with a reactive dog, I’m VERY particular about who I trust to watch him, so I’m really glad I found Nick. Anytime I’m traveling to Columbia and need someone to watch Mateo, Nick will definitely be my first choice!”
“LITERALLY. THE. BEST! This was our first time using Rover after a horrible experience boarding with a kennel and it was a game changer. Our pups stayed with Brittany for over a week and the only problem we had was that they were having so much fun, they didn't want to come home! We have two giant mastiffs, one with terrible anxiety and the other that acts like a toddler hyped up on sugar most of the time. She handled them both like a champ. We received loads of pictures everyday, so we had no reason to worry. I can't say enough great things about our experience! Thanks again girl!!!”
“We enjoyed the pictures we got of our dog’s stay. The communication was awesome! Our dog is still tired! We felt like he was in great hands and would gladly choose Whitney and her husband to watch our dog again!”
