“My husband and I were extremely pleased with the services Emily provided and will definitely be using her again when the need arises. During the meet-and-greet, both Bobo and Ellie, my cats, were reluctant to come out of their safe places, which is normal when they encounter new people. However, based on Emily’s photos and videos, they warmed up to her on the first drop-in visit. Emily was always punctual and spent the entire remaining time playing with Bobo and Ellie after feeding and litter box duty. The videos show they both absolutely adored Emily and soaked in the attention they received from her. Emily gave twice daily summaries about feedings, litter box patrol, and playtime. She also accompanied the summaries with pictures and videos of Bobo and Ellie to reassure me they were just fine. Emily is definitely an asset to the Rover company! We’re new to the area, so we were nervous leaving our babies with “strangers” for the first time, but Lindsey and Aaron quickly put our minds at ease. With Aaron’s medic training, he felt comfortable giving our diabetic cat insulin and they didn’t cringe when I explained all of the potentially gross things that may come out of said cat’s body throughout the week. About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I do live in an apartment but we do have a dog park and I work from home so we’ll have plenty of walks during the stay. We’ve had an array of animals in our house growing up such as a German shepherd, parakeets, love birds, hamsters, gerbils, hermit crabs, and Jack Russell terriers! I now own three dogs! Whether it's playtime, walks, or cuddle sessions, I love making sure pets feel happy and loved while their humans are away. :) I work mostly evenings at a restaurant so I have a pretty flexible schedule. The shifts are only about 5 hours long so I am very available to care for your animals in between. I am a very neat person, I always leave everything as I found it or better. I know how particular pets can be, and when owners are away it’s very important to keep their routine so they don’t feel uncomfortable or upset. If there’s any special thing I would need to do to reassure your pet, I’m happy to do it!
About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
