About: I’ve loved cats ever since I was little and continued to spread my love for them throughout my years. I’m currently caring for my sisters cat when she is away/busy and offer my help to friends when they need it. As of right now my schedule is pretty free during the day. I prefer working during 11am - 5pm on weekdays. I am open to other times if discussed prior. When given instructions to care for your pet, I take them seriously and will do my best to make your pet comfortable and happy when you are away.

“Emily was great with our little Kevin! She was very mindful of the heat during walks and made sure Kevin was drinking water as well.”

About: Hi! My name is Lauren, and I have over five years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and behaviors. I fostered dogs with my mom from 2020-2022, helping them transition from rescue to loving homes. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare, where I was responsible for managing group play, monitoring different behaviors, feeding schedules, and ensuring a safe and happy environment for all dogs. If you're looking for someone with lots of experience, a lifelong love for animals, and a dependable presence, I'm here to help when you need a sitter you can trust. Since I already care for my own rescue cat, tending to animals is just a regular part of my day! I currently work part time, which gives me the flexibility to schedule visits, walks, or check ins around your pet’s needs. I am available during early mornings, early afternoons, and evenings! I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, preferred walks, or playtime preferences. I emphasize making sure to keep everything tidy, from food bowls to litter boxes. Finally, I always want to provide regular updates so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands. Comfort for both my client and their pet is of the utmost importance to me.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young girl. I have experience and knowledge with a wide range of breeds, behaviors, and pet wellness. As someone who has raised and loved dogs throughout my life and is fortunate to have an Aunt who is a veterinarian, I believe I am uniquely qualified to care for other people's animals as well. I currently have a 30lb scruff named Lily who is a Griffon Verdeen mix and enjoys playing, napping, and going on long sniff walks. I always have her greet other dogs on a walk before letting them into the house so that both dogs can get their excitement energy out before the house sniffing begins. If you have any questions or special needs, please feel free to reach out and discuss them. I can currently work remotely, so my daily routine is adaptable to the needs of the day. I am available for walks throughout the day and check-ins. I have a fenced in backyard, friendly neighbors, a playful medium sized dog and a dog-friendly home. I also feel comfortable house sitting if that is a need as well.

About: I have a range of experience from puppies to senior dogs, and love all of the personalities that come with different breeds. Our dog growing up was reactive from being involved in getting bullied as a puppy, and understand the nuances that come with dogs who need more patience and care. I love all animals like they’re my own, and love sending updates as regularly as needed to make you comfortable! I work from home (fully remote, no office to go into) and can work from anywhere I need to, my schedule is flexible as I’m a team of one and run HR at a start-up. I have no kids or pets of my own here. Your pet’s needs are my number 1 priority the second they come into my care, whether I’m visiting your home or they come to mine. Pets are treated with the upmost respect, love, and attention no matter what. I will never accept a request unless I can 120% commit myself to your baby!

“Alicia cares for our cat Gizmo as if she were her own. When we came to pick her up this time, Gizmo greeted us and then rubbed up against Alicia as if to say “see, this is my friend”. She is clearly incredibly happy when she stays with Alicia, which makes rebooking a no-brainer.”

About: Hi pet parent! Since childhood up until now I’ve been around pets. From Rottweiler to pit bull to Havanese and Jhasa Apso, I’ve lived aith them. Now, with my opinionated rescue husky (who's learning to 'speak' using communication buttons!), dogs have been my lifelong teachers in the art of canine connection. Growing up in a family also obsessed with cats means I'm equally comfortable with feline friends and their more independent personalities. What truly sets my care apart is my specialized training in animal communication and engagement. As a graduate of FluentPet Academy's Button Bootcamp and two rounds of their Let's Get Them Pressing course, I've developed skills in cross-species communication that go beyond basic care. I understand pet body language at a deep level and can recognize subtle cues that many miss, allowing me to respond more effectively to your pet's needs and wants. Additionally, my ongoing education through Goleta Valley Dog Club's Fun with Focus course (which I've attended multiple times yearly since 2020) has equipped me with positive reinforcement techniques that make our time together both enjoyable and enriching for your pet. During my visits to your home, I maintain your pet's normal routine while incorporating these specialized approaches. Each visit includes all the essentials—fresh water, proper feeding, necessary medications, and potty breaks—plus quality interaction informed by my training in animal communication. I provide engaging walks for dogs and interactive play for all pets, sending photo updates throughout so you can see your pet is happy and thriving. Your home remains secure and tidy, and your pet receives care from someone who truly understands what they're trying to tell us! I prioritize maintaining your pet's comfortable routine in their familiar environment. My adaptable work hours allow me to schedule visits around your pet's needs, ensuring they receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. While my primary availability is Thursday and Friday, I understand pets don't recognize weekends on the calendar! If you occasionally need weekend or holiday coverage, I'm open to discussing how I might accommodate those special circumstances based on my schedule. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my priority, and I'm committed to providing reliable, loving care in the place they feel most secure—their own home! I believe pets thrive when they can stay in their familiar territory, surrounded by their favorite toys, smells, and sleeping spots. When caring for your pet in your home, my first priority is maintaining their normal routine while adding a touch of extra love and attention. Before starting care, I'll carefully document your pet's schedule, dietary needs, medication requirements, and favorite activities. Each visit includes the essentials—fresh water, proper feeding, necessary medications, and potty breaks—plus quality playtime tailored to your pet's energy level and preferences. For dogs, I provide engaging walks that balance exercise with exploration time, adjusting the pace and duration to suit your dog's age and fitness level. For indoor pets like cats, I ensure clean litter boxes and interactive play sessions that satisfy their hunting instincts. Throughout my visit, I'll send updates with photos so you can see your pet is happy and well-cared for. I'm also attentive to your home, bringing in mail, watering plants if requested, and ensuring everything stays secure and tidy. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pet's contentment!

I have fostered dogs, cats, and kittens for local rescue agencies. My schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I am also available for overnight visits weekdays and weekends. I am knowledgable on how to keep your pets safe inside and outside of the home. I am familiar with different types of leashes and harnesses and I am aware of what to look out for on walks (interactions with other dogs, food or unsavory things on the sidewalk, foxtails and other prickly plants).

I am currently attending UCSB and will be available on the days posted on my profile. I currently have plenty of free time to assist you with your pet-related needs. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while respecting your space and your pet’s unique needs. I also keep you updated with regular messages so you can feel confident they’re in good hands while you're away.

About: I have been taking care of my 16 year old dog since I was young. Experience walking dogs for 4 years and love all types of animals. I live a block from a dog friendly beach and love going on long walks and hikes. Experience with elderly animals and puppies/kittens! Weekends are wide open for me! Typically located in Santa Barbara for majority of the weekdays and Goleta on the weekends. Available to walk any day of the week besides Mondays! I will take great care of your pets and home. I love animals and truly value great pet care. Your animal will have my undivided attention and I will make sure to fulfill any of their specific needs!

“Maddy was great with my cat. Would recommend!”

About: I have always grown up surrounded by pets. Pets, especially dogs, have always been under my care where I feed, train, walk and play with them. At the age of 15, I began fostering kittens and older dogs while also volunteering at local shelters. I am currently a full time student at UCSB and hold a part-time job as a pharmacy tech. Although that might seem like a tight schedule, I love being around pets and always leave space to care for them between classes and before/after work! I currently live off-campus in a two story unit with my 5 yr old maltipoo (ilo-monster) who loves going for walks on the beach. Monster is a very happy boy who gets 3 walks a day. He is very energetic which means he receives plenty of toys and trips to the dog park! I work and live for my pets to be the happiest they can be and I will treat your furry friend just the same! Monster tends to deal with seasonal allergies which means he gets bathed and groomed regularly and taken to the vet for treatment. Being a foster parent in the past, I am familiar with handling ring worm and giardia simultaneously while keeping my pets safe and healthy.
